  1. Yep Alex, We're having two. One is Sunday (Dec 21) at 8 pm EST. The next one is the same time Monday night. They're both BYOEN affairs (bring your own egg nog)
  2. B.L., Alex and Daisy all got it right. Alex, you now have an unbelievable 125 in a row correct!!! WOW!!!!! This one's a little tougher. It's also from "The Great Santa Claus Chase", although I'm sure the answer could be found in other episodes as well. What's the license plate of Boss's white Cadillac convertable? A) Big Boss Boss-1 C) Hazzard-1 D) Boss JDH E) Boss Hogg-1

  4. For anybody who hasn't been following the Christmas threads, our Christmas parties are Sunday and Monday nights. Both of them will start at 8pm EST in the chat room.
  5. Sounds good. Here's the ground rules. They are open discussion (for now) so I'd like to know who doesn't agree with what. My guess is that numbers 5 and 6 will be the only controversial ones. 1) It's the honor system. We're going to trust you to tell us if you break your resolution. 2) No prizes will be given. This is just for pride and us Hazzard folks have a lot of that. 3) The winner (or winners) will be whoever keeps their resolution. Or, whoever goes the longest before breaking it. 4) STRICT deadline to enter is 12:01 AM Jan 1, 2009 (EST) 5) You can only submit one resolution. 6) You do not have to reveal what it is but it won't be nearly as fun if you don't. 7) Be reasonable and honest. You know what your limitations are. Don't make it to easy or too hard for you to keep. Be somewhere in the middle. 8) If you go months without posting anything you are still eligible to win as long as you post an update in December 2009. You will be disqualified if you've lost interest (after all, we won't know if you broke your resolution or not) 9) Remember, this is a family site. No resolutions rated worse than PG-13. 10) Unless overruled by a moderator, I'll have the final say so in any controversy.
  6. Okay, We'll have two parties then. Sunday night at 8 pm EST Monday night at 8 pm EST See ya there!!!!!
  7. B.L. and Daisy both got it right. What was Cooter dressed as at the beginning of "THe Great Santa Claus Chase"? A) Boy Scout Santa Claus C) elf D) Elvis E) sheriff's deputy with Santa beard
  8. fight
  9. Congratulations Alex !!!!!!! Even though I didn't win, I'd like to thank Meadowmuffin for having this contest. Of course I'd thank her even louder if I'd have won *grumbles*

  11. Well, it only takes two for a contest and we already have three. I'll work on some proposals for rules and post them tomorrow and we'll see if we can get anybody else involved. I bet we can. Hazzard folks love friendly competition.
  12. Hey Daisy, Are you coming to any of the Hazzard County Christmas parties?

  13. Once again, Daisy got all 3 right. Sorry B.L. but Wolf Creek Pass was never on the show. It was a good country song though. Beaver Fork was from "The Late J.D. Hogg" Daisy has 236 in a row correct (and 294 out of 295) Answers for the next three are found in "The Great Santa Claus Chase" Which of these were on the show? Colonel Jackson's Pies or General Grant's Deli Central City or Carson City Hazzard County Gospel Church or Hazzard County Red Cross

  15. I have another one of my crazy ideas and I'd thought I'd get some input from my fellow Hazzardites. I've never seen the show "The Biggest Loser" but since I've always been interested in human nature, I can understand the appeal to the people who participate in it. You seem to get much more motivated about something if there's some friendly pressure on you to succeed. I was wondering if anybody would like to join me in a friendly contest to see who can keep a New Year's resolution. There's really nothing to win except pride and a chance to better yourself. Of course, your resolution doesn't have to be about losing weight, it could be about anything. And, it could even be something that is relatively easy to keep. If anybody is interested, we have a couple weeks to work out the details. If I get a response to this post, I'll post more of my ideas about those details soon.

  17. Right again B.L. Who directed "The Great Santa Claus Chase?" Hint: He had two directing jobs because he looks exactly like the guy who was directing the children's Christmas choir at the beginning of the episode. A) Tom Wopat James Best C) Denver Pyle D) Sorrell Booke
  18. I think we should eliminate the 3 that got the least votes. Monday should definitely be one party. Now, should we have one on Saturday AND Sunday or just one of those two? I vote Sunday and Monday (I'm being selfish since I wouldn't be able to make it on Saturday)
  19. Hey Alex, I'll keep it updated on the 2008 Christmas party thread so keep an eye on that. Please post your suggestions. Ho, Ho, Ho, Merry Christmas!!!
  20. Hi Daisy, I'm off to watch "The Great Santa Claus Chase" I have to get stocked up with trivia questions. Ho, Ho, Ho!!!!

  21. Right Daisy. From "The Great Insurance Fraud", who blamed himself when he mistakenly thought someone had drown in Bottomless Lake?" A) Bo Luke C) Coy D) Vance E) none of the above Get ready for questions from "The Great Santa Claus Chase"
  22. Sounds like we're going to have 6 parties. Should we eliminate the 3 that get the least votes and narrow it down to 3?...Or maybe even just 2?
  23. Good luck with your career in the Guard, Private Szenger. Thanks for serving your country. We appreciate it.
  24. morning
  25. Jessi, I hope the radio station (104.3 FM) that the article mentioned is popular with those thieves and they hear his plea. I still think that Boss is behind this somehow. I think Bo should go see DJ Elton Loggins and try to get some air time with WHOGG. If Boss gets mad at Elton for letting Bo on the air, then that's proof Boss is involved, and Rosco couldn't be far behind.
