  10. Hi Daisy. I hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas. I rejoined the Hazzard Christmas party at 11:00 Monday night but you were gone by then *frowns* I stayed on until 1:00 *yawns*

  11. Thanks for that info Amanda. I wish I could remember who sang that song. I think it's from the early 80s. B.L. and Daisy got all 3 right. Daisy has 239 in a row correct (and 297 out of 298) WOW!! The answers to these 3 can also be found on "The Great Santa Claus Chase" Which of these were on that episode? Possum Pass or Bear's Hollow Honest Abe's Log Cabin Sales or Hogg's Mobile Home Sales Harper Valley or Hopson's Creek
  12. I wouldn't be surprised if Denver was more like a grandfather than an uncle to John. After all, I was born the same week as John and my grandmother was only a year older than Denver. Of course I suppose it would depend on if John's real-life parents were older or younger when they had him. If they were younger then Denver would have definitely been a grandfather-figure to him. Thanks for that nice post Garrett. I'm sure Denver is having a Christmas party in Hazzard Heaven today!!!
  13. Merry Christmas everybody. Did anybody get any Dukes related items? I got Cooter's book, "Redneck Boy in the Promised Land" I can't wait to start on it. YEEEHAAWWW!!!!
  14. I just got done watching the first episode of Dallas. It sure brings back a lot of memories. I know I never would have gotten into Dallas if it weren't for it being on right after Dukes. When I was 19 (1979), I always used to go to my grandparents just down the road and watch Dukes on Friday night. My parents only got one channel (NBC) but my grandparents had a little more money and could afford a good antenna so they got CBS and ABC too. Good thing. Otherwise, I never would have seen Dukes.
  15. It seems as if this thread has hit a dead end. Maybe it's because not everybody knows who this is. He's the author of "Lord of the Rings". So let me get this thing going again by responding to my own response. The next word is: Wizard
  16. Daisy and B.L. got my question right. It was the Yellow Pine Construction Company. I don't have the courage to tell Meadowmuffin she missed it. Could somebody else give her the bad news? *chuckles*
  17. Wow Min, those are pretty tough questions. I'll probably miss all 8 of them but I'll try anyways. 1) PR5392 2) Central City 3) country fried spaghetti 4) 4:30 pm 5) NO....Boss and a customer were smoking and Daisy was cleaning ashtrays 6) Colonel Jackson 7) Luke. They were both dressed like Santa but you could see his sleeves 8) Cooter-Dancer Luke-Blitzen Bo-Rudolph the Red-Nosed Duke
