old (Hey, look at my avatar. Is that Moses with a red hat? Well, it's like Waylon said in one of the Georgia episodes. Inside Uncle Jesse is every one of the 10 Commandments)
traffic light (sorry Daisy, that last post had a couple typos in it. What it should have said is that I'm old and my memory is SO bad that I can't remember but DaisyMaeDuke is a fan of old movies so she might remember seeing it. In fact, I think she she just saw "It's a Wonderful Life" last week. Well, maybe she didn't say that. I can't remember)
Daisy, I ain't going for the shotgun. That was a compliment, not an insult. Now that you've complimented me, I'd better get back to "Word Association" and take back the insult I gave you a little bit ago. Let me think, after 20 minutes of posting something, they won't let you edit it will they? I'd better hurry.
stop (didn't they always say "stop" after every sentence and not use a period with those things? I'm not old enough to remember. Maybe DaisyMaeDuke will know)
Hey, I just discovered something. I am reading Ben Jones' book "Redneck Boy in the Promised Land" On pages 33 and 65, Ben mentions a mechanic named Stump Rountree that Ben and his uncle worked for (imagine that, Ben working for a mechanic) Anyway, Stump was also a citizen of Hazzard County even though he was only mentioned by name and never actually appeared on the show. Stump was mentioned in the episode "The Canterbury Crock" from season 3.
I got Cooter's new book. I'm already half way through with it. He sure had a rough life. Are you going to be at the trivia competition on Saturday night?
Happy 2009 everybody!!!!!!!! Here is the final list for the First Annual Hazzard County New Year's Resolution Contest. daisydukexenosstrate--save money by shopping less Garrett--not be so lazy General Grant--learn sign language Roger--personal financial goals DixieNachelle--learn the guitar DaisyMaeDuke--personal DixieRoss--not be so lazy Good luck everybody.
You're both right. There was a Razorback Mountain. And Daisy is right again. It is from "Mason Dixon's Girls" (season 2) There was also a Razorback Hill that was on season 2. It can be found on the episode "Duke of Duke" Daisy has 244 in a row correct (and 302 out of 303)
That's fine daisyxenos. Of course you won't be able to give it up completely but if you can honestly tell yourself at the end of the year that you saved money by shopping a lot less then you'll be one of the winners (or maybe the only one) By the way, what happened to not cutting your hair all year? You still have until midnight if you change your mind.
