*after arriving home I go through my routine of letting the dog, out, going to the bathroom and brushing my teeth. I laid down in bed wondering if I'd done the right thing or not. If it weren't for the mystery man in the pick-up truck I'd have fallen asleep a whole lot quicker but I was upset that somebody else was now involved, especially an innocent Good Samaratin who was just trying to go the right thing. I would have done the same thing if I was that feller in that situation. Finally I comfort myself by, once again, reminding myself that we are doing this for a good cause. Boss has been ripping off orphans for too long now. I remind myself of one of my favorite sayings "Evil flourishes when good men do nothing". I fall asleep looking forward to meeting up with Garrett at noon and hoping to put an end to this adventure*

Denver C got it right. "True Blue Hearts" makes its debut on country music radio.

Did anybody hear what Jeff Gordon said about Jimmie Johnson after the race? Things seem pretty tense between those two fellers. Jeff is really "losing patience" with Jimmie. This could get ugly.

LOL Folks sure are passionate about racing. Listening to you two bicker brings back some pretty good memories for me. When I was around 10 years old my grandparents used to take us to the local dirt track. My grandparents were Chevy folks but my dad was a Ford man (he's now in his 70's and to this day has never owned anything but Fords) Me and my brother would always root for the Fords and my grandparents would pull for the Chevys. My grandmother was always real loud yelling for the Chevys. We always used to tell her she was embarressing us but that didn't seem to quiet her down. I miss ya grandma and grandad. Thanks for all the good memories.

*I glance over at the farmhouse after putting the Mustang in drive. I try not to hit the gas too hard......but just before Garrett opened the door I notice a light come on. I'm now worried that I might have waken up Garrett's sister and her two kids. I suppose going back and apologizing would only make things worse so I continue on in the darkness wondering why I ever got myself into this mess and hoping it has a happy ending. Despite not knowing who chased us, wondering why the Mustang sputtered, possibly upsetting Garett's sister and being tired and grumpy, I took comfort in knowing we were doing the right thing by trying to correct an injustice. As I pulled in my driveway I realized though, that trying to do the right thing doesn't always produce a happy ending*

I thought it was true also. In fact, I thought Brian hasn't posted for awhile because he's still in the Bahamas spending all the money he made from the sale. -

Sorry to tell you this Meadowmufn but the rules stated you have to wait 24 hours before playing again. Of course since you're the Supreme Superior Commander you can do anything you want. (including kicking me off the HazzardNet for pointing out that even Supreme Superior Commanders are human and make mistakes) *snickers* Hey GeneralLeeGirl, you accidently gave Jesse 9 extra points. Maybe MM can edit it. -

You got me on that one GeneralLeeGirl. It was quite a blooper though when they messed that one up by putting the episodes in the wrong order. Lizzy and B.L. got mine right. The big banner at the end incorrectly spelled Roscoe with an e.- 3,832 replies

I Love My Truck (*RogerDuke singing*......it's right outside. Ain't got much luck. But I sure got a ride. Don't matter who lives. Don't matter who dies. Cause I've got my truck right by my side) (don't remember who sings it but I gaurantee the feller sounded better than me)

I was never a fan of Michael but his life (and death) certainly was a sad saga. I really doubt he was ever happy and I feel bad for him because it seemed he was destined at an early age for a tragic fate. I'm also 50 years old. I was brought up poor (not that poor though). I'm now what is probably called lower middle class. I'd bet the farm that I have been a much much happier person in my half century than he was in his. I've always said that half the poor people I know are happy. Half the rich people I know are happy. Half the middle class I know are happy. That's proof that money has nothing to do with happiness. I think his death was more than just the fault of his doctor. A lot of people should be blamed, including MJ himself. Elvis was no different. People treated him like a god and nobody was brave enough to do something dramatic to stop him. I think the people around folks like Elvis and MJ love the fame more than the person. How sad.

Rain sure has been a problem with NASCAR this year. Oh well, considering recent droughts in the south, I'm sure not everybody is complaining. We've had a pretty dry spring here in northwest Pennsylvania though.

*Because it was dark I was unable to see the sarcastic look on Garrett's face and being too tired to tell Garrett's voice had a sarcastic tone, I respond with frustration* Listen, I know I'm a little older than you but are you serious about not knowing that cigarettes used to be called coffin sticks? *sounding annoyed now but in reality, simply exhausted* I'm sorry I'm being grumpy, I'm just really tired and I have to get some shut-eye before I pass out....so I'll see ya at noon *sits in Mustang, yawns and drives off hoping the powerful 390 c.i. engine with customized exhaust doesn't wake Garrett's sister and kids*

*looks at Garrett in a scolding way* "I thought you told me you were giving up them coffin sticks. Did you not give them up at all or did you, and then start back up again? ......oh well, anyway, you know where still sight number three is....it's just off of Jimson Lane on that old path.....remember a couple years ago, in the fall, you were riding Mis Tizdale's back-up dirt bike and there was a spot where the leaves were covering up a deep puddle. You couldn't tell there was water there because there were so many leaves floating on it and it looked like solid ground. As soon as your front tire hit it, you flipped right over the handlebars." *chuckles* "Anyway, there's a reason I want to meet there. I'll explain it all when you get there with the money. How about making it high noon instead of 11?"

I've said it before and I'll say it again. You sure know your NASCAR Garrett. I took my 8 year old grandson to his first race tonight. Actually it was just (free admission) practice night at the local dirt track in northeast Ohio but it was pretty exciting anyway. We had a great time and he wants to go back next weekend. I wore my orange 01 hat and got a chance to strike up conversations with two different Dukes fans and told them about HazzardNet. Hopefully at least one of them will be dropping by.

GeneraLLeeGirl and B.L. got all three right. Which of these were on "One Armed Bandits"? Lucky Luciano or Dobro Doolin Ernest the bank clerk or Hazel the prison guard Honest John Ledbetter or Big Dan Haskins
