  6. I hope 'ole Waylon had a great birthday. I heard he's still recovering from drinking too much buttermilk at the Boar's Nest.
  7. Hey B.L. I see you're logged in. Check out "Last Letter First"

  8. Here's a new game idea. Someone posts a word, or words or even sentence. The next person uses the last letter to post something else. It doesn't have to have anything to do with the last post. It can be anything your imagination can conjure up (as long as it's rated PG) Here's examples of how it could go... post #1 Enos loves Daisy post #2 yellow post #3 Washington D.C. post #4 Charlie Daniels is my favorite singer post #5 river Okay, I'll go first.... My hero is Uncle Jesse (anything that starts with an E will work)
  9. B.L. got two out of three. Newton Fabric Outlet was a business in town on the Georgia episodes. These three Duke or Dupes are all from "Route 7-11" Which of these were on the show? Hulk Hogan or Helen Hogan Crossingville or Uchee Ridge Crossing Choctaw or Crawdad County

  12. I love this website. We have a NASCAR thread and now we have a farm thread. We even have threads for the swamp, the jail and the General Lee. The Duke family would be proud. Hmmm, is anybody out there an expert on dynamite and bows and arrows?

Thanks for all the updates Garrett.....and yes I did mean the "Chase". I just couldn't think of what it was called. Hey, did you ever watch the season 1 DVD "Special Features" where NASCAR drivers talk about how the Dukes influenced them? They all agree that sliding in the dirt is fun compared to paved tracks. I think that's why I like the local dirt track so much. I'm an old "fishtailer" from way back....YEEHHAAWWW!!! I wonder if Jeff will move ahead of Jimmie at Sonoma since he's better at road races.
  14. That's awesome. Keep us posted with more good news!!
  15. texasdaisy and B.L. got it right. According to Ben Jones (from the season 1 DVD reunion barbeque) how many Dodge Chargers were destroyed in the seven years of the show? A) 39 93 C) 309 D) 903

  20. It looks like someone has a birthday coming up!!

  21. It looks like we have some birthdays coming up soon. Tuesday is Waylon's birthday. It's also my grandson's first birthday. His name is Lucas (a good Dukes name) and daisyxenos's father's birthday. The day after that is daisyxenos's. It looks like we have a lot to celebrate starting Tuesday.
  22. lawn mower
  23. Here's a cool thing about the movie..... they mention Hazard..... Hazard Kentucky that is..... home of the HazzardNet's Lori Davenport.
  24. As I'm typing this I'm also watching "Coal Miner's Daughter" on CMT. It's been a few years since I've last seen it. If any of you have never seen it, you're really missing an amazing story. I was a big Loretta Lynn fan even before she made her appearance on the Dukes of Hazzard but after she was on the show, she quickly became my all-time favorite female country music singer and still is to this day. She's really had an amazing life and is worthy of our admiration and respect. She did such a great job as an actress on the Dukes I wonder why she never did more of that kind of work. I suppose she made more money in music and I suspect she enjoyed it more than acting. If anybody hasn't seen "Coal Miner's Daughter" and reads this post soon, it will be rerun on CMT on Sunday (June 13) at 3:00 pm. Just a warning, some of the material isn't suitable for children.
  25. B.L., Daisy and Denver C got that one right. Speaking of rare night scenes, what is the only episode where we got a view of a star filled Hazzard County sky? If this is too tough, I'll turn it into multiple choice tomorrow.
