  1. Hey Sissy, I posted something about the knife right after you did so go check it out.

  2. I've always been interested in their knives too Sissy. Great job with that screengrab Hoss. I own the biggest knife Buck makes. It's NOT a folding kniife like the one pictures. It's called the General...no kidding...it really is. I don't think it was named after our favorite car though. According to my trusty notebook Luke's knife isn't a Buck. It's a Barlow. He's a country boy so I'm sure he has more than one...LOL I found out it was a Barlow by using the closed captioning on the episode "Jude Emery"
  3. tomorrow
  4. Welcome to the HazzardNet!

  5. And it's everybody's favorite color!
  6. I have a bunch of them laying around the house Brian and I want to use this official thread to formally announce that none of them are for sale....especially the one on top of my dresser.
  7. It's not every day I log onto HazzardNet and read a post this intense. You're certainly in my prayers countrygirl. I really don't know what else to say except keep us updated on how you're doing. We're all family here so when one of us is hurting we all are.
  8. Hey Daney, if we can get enough people to guess a season 4 episode somebody will get it right.
  9. Awesome! What a great idea for the plate! By the way Brian, why are some things on posts coming up orange? (like license plate on post 52)
  10. Very nice! I can't quite make out the customize license plate on the patrol car with my computer.
  11. I'll guess "Sound of Music-Hazzard Style" I'm only guessing because it's about music. I really don't know.
  12. LOL Thanks Brian. That's twice that you've recently caught mistakes I've made. I'm embarressed but glad they got corrected. Getting old isn't as bad as the alternative. Much better. By the way, where's Val been? I know she'd laugh if she saw the midgets on a mule. (There I go, getting my sayings mixed up again)
  13. I'm too ugly to be on Facebook but I'll tell my beautiful wife because she "likes" the HazzardNet too...since it keeps me out of trouble. (Little does she know that I get in a lot of trouble on HazzardNet)
  14. Welcome to the HazzardNet!

  15. Welcome to the HazzardNet!

  16. Welcome to the HazzardNet!

  17. Very nice thinking Brain....uh, I mean Brian. I never thought about this and it made me feel much better about the first reunion show. It really makes a lot of sense and I appreciate you posting it. I still don't plan on watching it again but it brings me comfort knowing that there's a good probability it put a smile on my hero's face before he headed off to Hazzard Heaven. These pictures are hilarious! And don't forget this old saying Val....Getting old is much worse than the alternative.
  18. And he always thought we were just keeping him around for his good looks!
  19. Good point MaryAnne. They don't even have any folks with southern drawls as news-people. CNN certainly doesn't respresent Hazzard County Georgia that's for sure....but I suppose they're not trying to. LOL for some reason I'm reminded of Uncle Jesse's quote...."And don't go taking advantage of those city folks just 'cause they don't know no better."
  20. Welcome to the HazzardNet!

  21. That is so cool! I get so excited whenever I see or hear Dukes references on TV or in songs. If you go down to Boss's forum and click on the "Boss...CNN" thread you'll see I recently heard a Dukes reference myself. Thanks so much for sharing that with us. It made me smile!
  22. I don't know this one. Since Cooter always said "Take it easy greezy" I'm going to guess E. Great question Hoss!
  23. Welcome to Hazzard County Orange Crush. It's sounds like you're going to fit in here nicely. We're happy to have you and look forward to your posts.
  24. Val, you've reminded me of one of my favorite sayings, "You're only young once but you can be immature forever." The Dukes of Hazzard does make me feel young because no matter how many times I watch it the folks on there haven't gotten any older and since they're like family to me, that means I haven't gotten any older. That's one reason I don't even own the reunion shows. I don't want to be reminded that Boss died and I don't want to see my hero Jesse looking frail. They completely ruined the fantasy for me so I just pretend they were never made. On the movie "Field of Dreams" James Earl Jones says (something like) "The one thing you could always count on is baseball." Well, Uncle Roger Duke is telling you, The one thing you can always count on is The Dukes of Hazzard. (After God and family, of course). So take the advice of MaryAnne and watch the Dukes of Hazzard to stay young in spirit. And take my advice and throw yourself into the fantasy. It sounds like you are turning the fantasy off as soon as you pop the DVD out of the machine. I'm sure you've heard the joke "I went to the doctor and told him it hurts when I do this and his response was, don't do that." If it hurts when you stop watching an episode then stop watching Dukes altogether. JUST KIDDING! If it hurts after you watch an episode then you shouldn't have made the mistake of shutting your young spirit off when the DVD went off. Keep the episode in your heart and it will keep you feeling young. Meadowmufn made a good point about Miz Tisdale. Look at some of the old timers on the show like her, Uncle Jesse, Swamp Molly and Hard Luck Jones. They were young at heart. You can follow their example.....put please don't ride any wheelies like Miz Tisdale. She's been doing that since motorcycles were invented and she's a trained professional postmistress dirt biker. And in my blissful fantasy world, she'll never stop.
