  1. At first I thought "Enos Strate to the Top" Then I thought "The New Dukes" But my final answer is "Enos in Trouble"
  2. Welcome to the HazzardNet!

  3. CONGRATULATIONS HOSS ON YOUR FIRST ANNIVERSARY AT HAZZARDNET! You've sure been a great addition to this place! Uh, back to the business at hand. I'll guess Rufus. Maybe Rosco named him after Rufus Z Coltrane.

  6. ROFL...actually the head's fine Hoss. In fact, my memory wasn't even affected. It's still as bad as it always was. My problem is that I'm not a fan of the reunion shows so all I can do is guess. I'll say 12 years.
  7. Thanks for the update Garrett. This was a baseball weekend for me so I didn't see any NASCAR. I did see a story about the 20,000 people in Kentucky who couldn't get in because there wasn't enough parking. They still don't know if they're going to get their tickets refunded. I might be a redneck who only has a high school diploma but I'm smart enough to consider if I have enough parking spots when I'm having a party at my house. You would think that one of those college educated NASCAR administrators would have been smart enough to count the parking spots beforehand. I'd be furious if I missed the race because someone who gets paid a 6 figure salary can't count.

  10. Speaking of repeating things, I predict David Ragan will win twice in a row!! GO #6!
  11. Enos's bobber went under the water and he let out a squeel. "This sure feels like a big one Zack. I bet it's that large mouth bass that busted my line last week." Enos held on to his pole tightly as he started to reel the fish in. Rosco sat on the nearby fallen tree and jumped up exitedly then screamed. "I GOT IT! KHEE KHEE!!" His commotion caused Enos to lose his balance and fall in the water. Zack quickly grabbed the fishing pole before it got pulled away but then the fish got unhooked so the pole was no longer being pulled in. Wilbur quickly helped Enos out of the water as Rosco briskly walked over to the men. "Khee Khee! I got a plan boys. Put those fishing poles away. We got work to do......and Enos, git yourself dried off. You're a mess!"

  14. Welcome to the HazzardNet Ina. We're excited to have you here and look forward to hearing a lot more from you. My wife lived in Germany for a couple years so I often hear her family tell stories of all the good times they had there.
  15. Thank you everybody. I know I've said this many times but you folks really are like family. I went back to work today and then went to meet the paramedics after work. I heard lots of stories and learned a lot I didn't know because I was temporarily out of reality. I have to admit I got a chill up my spine when talking to one of the paramedics. I guess I was a little closer to the Pearly Gates than I realized. I'll spare you folks the gorey details but the whole experience had a happy ending and it is something that has changed my life for the better. I was grateful to meet 3 of the 4 people most responsible for coming to my rescue (actually there were more than that). I gave them all hugs and the whole visit was an emotional celebration. Embrace life folks. And thank an emergency medical professional the next time you see one. The next life they save might be yours.
  16. Thanks, I'm doing fine. I had a good night last night except for making a mess on my pillow because the bandage didn't stay on. It's been over 24 hours now and I haven't even had a headache or anything. In fact the whole experience wasn't even that painful except for the time they cleaned out the wound and put the staples in. I'll never forget the white light though. It's something that will always be with me. Even though I enjoyed it I hope I go another 50 years before I see it again. LOL

  18. I had a little accident at work today. A heavy piece of metal fell on my head and cut it open and knocked me out. I came back to the real world before the ambulance arrived but then fell unconscience again. I woke up again and got loaded in the ambulance and barely remained awake but was confused on the way to the hospital. Luckily the cat scan showed no serious damage and I was released under the watch of my wife. I feel fine but she's going to have to keep an eye on me for a couple days. I have a severe concussion and 7 metal staples but things look good. Here's the amazing part. I've always heard stories like this but never thought I'd experience one. For a while I saw the white light everybody always talks about. At first I was really scared but then I felt a really deep peace like I've never felt before. I was a little disappointed when the paramedic yelled at me and woke me up because the feeling was so soothing. Okay, I'm being a little dramatic with the headline of my post. I don't really know if I was close to death or not. I probably wasn't but I'll never really know how close I was. The deep peaceful feeling was an emotion I've never felt and something I'll never forget. When I'm fully recovered I have a lot of people to thank. Every once in a while we get a reminder how precious life is.

  21. It's official. David Ragan is now my favorite driver. Maybe it's an omen that he won his first race AFTER I stated rooting for him but he's now my favorite and I sure hope it stays that way since I'm the kind of person who absolutely hates to be wishy-washy. The Pirates, Steelers and Penguins have been my favorite teams my whole life. The MinnesotaTimberwolves have been my favorite team since they came into the NBA in 1989. I'm the kind of guy who sticks with things but I'm struggling with NASCAR. Even though Ragan is now my favorite, if a Georgia driver with an orange 01 car enters the picture, my wishy washiness may come back. I hope that doesn't happen because I kinda like this David Ragan feller and wouldn't want to switch but...hey...I take my Dukes seriousely and I'm going with the most Duke-like driver and you don't get more Duke-like than Peachtree Georgia.
