  1. Welcome to the HazzardNet!

  2. This is a great mystery. Please keep us posted with your progress and when you do find out, we hope you stay around for a long time after that.
  3. Welcome to the HazzardNet!

  4. LOL That looks like the dragon on Lord of the Rings....the one that the ultimate bad guy rides....I can't think of his name, Saron maybe? Nice work!!!
  5. Go for it MaryAnne. Oh, I have another guess but I can't think of which episode it was. Hmmm, she had two big bad guys and said "We gonna catch us a Hogg!" One of those guys played in the NFL. I always want to call her Morgan Fairchild but that's not it. Hmmmm, she was on "Dallas" too if she's the one I'm thinking of.
  6. Usually they move east to west OR west to east but not always. The biggest giveaway is if they're blinking or not. A satellite shines from reflected sunlight so never blinks. It's light will go out if it passes into the Earth's shadow. Reflected sunlight is white so if there's any color to it, it's not a satellite.....although the ISS turns temporarily orange as it's entering Earth's shadow.
  7. Well said waikiki. My hometown of Albion PA was destroyed by a tornado on May 31, 1985. I knew several of the people killed. The damage was something that you just can't put into words.
  8. Welcome to the HazzardNet Kip. Good luck with your search. Let us know if you find anything out.
  9. Any chance we can get more details?..... Like what were some of the questions and answers?
  10. Welcome to the HazzardNet Bobby!

  11. They're a foot long and about 8 inches wide. They're from interior walls so they're in decent shape even though they look real old. They're unpainted and the edges are tongue-in-groove. I'm going to have to rewatch the Georgia episodes to see if I can find the wall although I don't have my hopes up that I'll se able to see the exact wall and even if I do, I can't be 100% sure my boards ever appeared on the TV screen. They were part of the farmhouse and that's good enough for me.
  12. Usually the folks who agree with me don't have much fun when they find out I was wrong....LOL I wonder if the folks at the wedding liked Hoss's hat.
  13. There's a website you can get on to see the ISS or space shuttle in orbit. (getting ready to launch soon). I don't remember what it is but I'm sure googling it would be easy. You have to be in the right place at the right time but the site explains all that. Of course it doesn't predict clouds and that's the biggest challenge, at least here in Pennsylvania lately.
  14. These are awesome James! I've been an amateur astronomer for 16 years now. It's the only hobby I've ever had that I loved ALMOST as much as Dukes and I'm still very active in it although not quite as much as a few years ago. My telescope is a 10 inch (diameter) Dobsonian. It's about the size of three 5-gallon buckets stacked on top of each other. I've seen a lot of nebulae but the human eye doesn't see a lot of color in them. And by the way Hoss, I'm impressed you know nebulae is the plural of nebula and not nebulas!
  15. Welcome to the HazzardNet!

  16. I'll be looking for you in the front row at Westminster Abbey Hoss. I assume you'll be the one with the orange 01 hat. Yell YEEHHAWWW when it's really quiet in case I can't see the hat. On "Who wants to be a millionaire" they say to go with your first instinct so I'll go with A) Handleyville. I'm not sure what ep it was mentioned but I know it was mentioned once.
  17. Pennsylvania (home of Hershey chocolates)
  18. Okay, I'm back from my nervous breakdown...LOL I can make it a whole week (or even year) without missing anything else on this computer....except HazzardNet. After a few days of prioritizing things in my life I feel much better now. I was getting a bit overwhelmed and had to throw a few projects out the window but I'm back on track now after streamlining things. If I have too much that I'm trying to accomplish and it starts to get to me I usually just make a list and put the most important things at top, but in this case I had to do that AND eliminate a few things to keep my sanity. Ralph Waldo Emerson said "to be simple is to be great" and I know what he meant. When life gets too complicated it's just no fun. DukesLuvah, how did that go? (or hasn't it happened yet?) I don't have twitter....or even a cell phone for that matter. Thanks for the well wishes Brad. CDoherty95, it technically fits into the Christian science fiction genre. This is my second attempt at a book. The first one was a modern day romantic fiction. I doubt either will get published because it's a competitive business but I won't feel good if I don't make an honest effort trying. Thanks for asking.
  19. I've been a little stressed out lately with all I've been taking on so I'm going to try a little experiment. I'm going to go a whole week without using my computer. Please don't worry about me. I'll be fine. I've become a bit of a slave to this contraption and it's starting to get to me. The only thing I'm going to do is check my e-mail once a day. That's it! I wish I didn't have to do that but I'm working on getting a book published so I have to. The book is one of the things that's been stressing me out but, mostly, I just need a break. Thanks for understanding. I'll catch everybody next week. I've never done something like this before but it's time. I'll let you know what a week was like without a computer. God Bless, Roger
  20. Welcome to the HazzardNet Simon. We're honored to have you. We hope you enjoy this place. We sure do.
  21. Hmmm, I wouldn't know where it is in "WB backlots" Where is it on the episode...Capitol City?
  22. Nobody here would say that you're crazy! I'm not surprised that "Happy Birthday General Lee" is your favorite episode. My guess is that it's the favorite ep of anybody who has ever built a General. Thanks for keeping us updated.
