  2. Hey check out my number of posts... Our favorite car is a '69 and it has an 01 on the side. That's just such a cool number I'm never posting again. I don't want it to change. Just kidding, you folks are stuck with me.
  3. Welcome to the HazzardNet!

  5. And I root for the Cubs because I like you so much. But when they play the Pirates you're my biggest enemy. Grrrrrrr!
  6. I love that one from "Daisy's Song". Those are definitely northern Georgia trees. Besides, who'd want a "Leaving Hazzard County" sign. That's just way too depressing.
  7. Welcome to the HazzardNet!

  8. They had a little mini-marathon two evenings ago (June 19). I watched two episodes. I just love watching them when a million other fans are. I'd rather do that than watch my DVDs. I don't even mind the commercials. It's worth it to feel like you're sharing what you love with your Dukes family.
  9. Columbus Ohio (thought I'd respond to my own to get things jump started)
  10. Thanks for the review Garrett. There sure are a lot of folks happy about Dale Jr's win after 143 races of not finishing first. I know NASCAR is because he's their poster boy. The average (non NASCAR fan) on the street has never heard of Jimmie Johnson but everybody knows Dale Jr. so it was a big win for NASCAR in general. Poor JJ, after all those titles he's still second to Junior. Thanks for keeping me updated about David Ragen Garrett.
  11. Welcome back! I love the lawn mower bicycle! I've never seen anything like that.
  12. Welcome to the HazzardNet!

  13. The tag team of BL and Hoss got those two right. Where is Walter's Paint Shop located? A) Possum Hollow Skunk Hollow C) Turkey Hollow
  14. I'm happy to hear that you had fun but sad to hear your boys lost. 3 to 5 means it was a pretty competitive game so I'm wondering if the Cubs got anybody on base in the bottom on the 9th. If they did I bet you were on the edge of your seat. I wish the Cubs weren't in the Pirates division so I could root for them more. If they ever make the post season and the Pirates don't I'll buy one of those blue hats with a C on top, watch the playoffs and wave a "Go Cubbies" pennant.
  15. Welcome to the HazzardNet!

  16. Now that Ray and his crew have completed their first show of the season (Galax Va) they have three more scheduled. I wouldn't be surprised if they add more later. All three are going to be events at county fairs in Ohio and are bunched together in a short time span. July 23 Clark County Fair in Springfield Ohio July 28 Vinton County Fair in McArthur Ohio Aug 5 Medina County Fair in Medina Ohio Medina's in the northern part of the state near Cleveland. Clark County is in the midwest part of Ohio and Vinton County is in the south-central part.
  17. That ET feller sure reminds me of "Strange Visitor to Hazzard". I wonder if they're cousins like them Duke boys.
  18. There is also another thread about mapmaking in the General Discussion forum (there are two of those...I'm talking about the one closest to the top). It's on page 3 and was started by CountyCommissionerKing on 3-30-09.
  19. Thanks but no thanks Cooperman. I sure appreciate your interest in Hazzard County mapmaking though. Are you interested in doing your own project? Now that my interest is reignited I'm going to go back and check some out of the posts on this thread. As I recall, there is quite a bit of information on it. A map of Hazzard can be as simple as a small piece of paper or large posterboard. I recommend a seperate map for everything in town or (to fit it all in) proportionally it would be distorted with town looking too big. I don't really have computer skills but I bet folks who do could pull off a map project on the computer. My computer skills don't go beyond HazzardNet, e-mail and (in the last two years) fantasy sports.
  20. Welcome to the HazzardNet!

  21. LOL You're a Cubs fan and I'm a Pirates fan so we both know the value of having an alternate team that we like BUT that doesn't mean we like them more and doesn't mean we'd root for them if they were facing our favorite team. After all these years of a bitter, hateful sports rivalry here on the HazzardNet it's nice to know we finally found common ground and both have JJ as our second favorite driver. If you're really interested in ending this insanity of our constant ugly feuding I suggest that you immediately abandon Jeff Gordon as your favorite and make David Ragen your #1 driver. If you don't, I'll have to assume that you're interested in keeping our rivalry alive. Also, you should immediately dump the Cubs for the Pirates. That would go a long ways in proving you're serious about wanting to live in a peaceful environment here on the HazzardNet. And one more thing, you should bench your best players on the weeks that you're playing me in our fantasy baseball league. I hope I'm not being unreasonable. If you think I am that's proof that you're unreasonable.
  22. No I didn't. It's just another one of those projects that I hope to get done someday. I have a bunch of those projects but not a bunch of time. That's not a good combo so I don't think it will get done anytime soon. In fact, I probably won't even have time to work on it anytime soon. Thanks for asking.
  23. Happy Birthday today Waylon. (June 15)
