Edmund's InsideLine has released it's 100 Greatest Movie and TV Cars of All Time list and sitting pretty in the top spot is - you know it - The General Lee! SIAP, I have read about an Auto Trader commercial that is being filmed with John and Tom. Apparently they are doing a lot of stunts for one commercial, they have 2 hero cars (both of which are actual series used Generals), 2 Generals for hard core stunt driving, and lastly 2 more Generals used for jump scenes. This is the only pics I found online, Its a transport truck hauling the stunt Generals and some Hazzard County Sheriff cars...check them out... newer Chargers with decals like the old Monacos and Furys in the series. I don't know when it is scheduled to air, but the started filming this past Saturday. Jason

I went to dukesfest 08 and didnt have time to look at all of the filming locations well just got to drive through conyers. Since gas alot cheaper I talked to my wife and my cousin and I are gonna drive down here in a month or two. Really excited, just wanted to share the news.

After reviewing this thread it sure seems like we're not doing a good job of informing folks about where our favorite actors are going to be. I was wondering with someone with more computer skills than me would be willing to adopt this forum. Is there any possibility that someone could surf around and gather all the information and post it here? My computer skills are 1 on a scale of 1-10 (all I do is HazzardNet) so I'm sure someone could find this stuff out better than me. JS will be in Brisbane 21st, 22nd and 23rd of April 2006 for the Australian Comic Book Convention. I am going, with or without my General Lee which we've just built and they've given us permission to take up to him, cause it's only an hour away! COME ON FOLKS! 10th annual Canton Hot Rod show. She's only ther one day so anyone going get there early. She's gonna be there 11 a.m.-4 p.m. and 7 p.m - 9:30 p.m. Not sure who's General Lee they are using as I have yet to be contacted.

Hi fellow Dukes Fans, I just found out that Tom Wopat will be visiting the Canton Hot Rod Show Feb 18th & 19th, 2012 at the Canton Memorial Civic Center, Down Town Canton Ohio. They are supposed to announce it soon on cantonhotrodshow.com website. This is a rare treat for Dukes Fans! Anyone with a General Lee planning on showing off their Ride?

I've just seen the sad news that Clifton James has passed away. Known to millions as Sheriff J.W. Pepper in the James Bond movies 'Live and Let Die' and 'The Man with the Golden Gun', he was known to us Hazzardites as Sheriff Lester Crabb in 'Treasure of Hazzard'. He died yesterday (Saturday) due to complications from diabetes. He was either 95 or 96, depending on whether you believe the date of birth quoted on IMDb or Wikipedia - the news outlets all seem to be going with 96.

I know the current seasons are selling good and 3 and 4 will do the same. I have to wonder though what will happen with Coy and Vance come to town. Will the DVD sales tank and then we'll lose releases on the final 2 seasons? Or will they not release the Coy and Vance Episodes? I'd like to have the Coy and Vance episodes. I know I'm in the minority. I definitely want to own all the seasons.

I have no pity for all these used to be rich stars who get into financial trouble. They are stupid!! He said he was really hurt when his studio flooded etc. I guess he never heard of insurance!!

Just a reminder, ol' "Bo Duke" himself will be at the Rod & Custom car show in Monticellow, Iowa this coming weekend, Feb 25 & 26! Monticello is maybe a half-hour or so out of Dubuque. As posted on our Facebook page. We really hope this one ain't true, but we've had too many reports to ignore it: Warner Bros forbids flag on General Lee diecast cars effective Jan 1, 2013! This info has been reported by the diecast collector community, at sites like hobbytalk.com and Supercar Collectibles. Mopar Muscle Magazine shared the Supercar Collectibles report on their blog on July 19. We've been hoping that this was only a vile rumor, but the reports can't be ignored. As many of you know, Ben 'Cooter' Jones owns and operates 3 Dukes of Hazzard attractions in Tennessee and Virginia. The Virginia location, which was located in Sperryville, has recently moved location a few miles away to neighboring Luray, Virgina. I don't know if anybody has heard, but I was watching CMT Insider today and they were talking about this newcomer and her new video and it features none other than Sonny Shroyer! I wish that I could remember her name, but she said that it was like living her childhood dream working with Sonny. Growing up she always wished that she was Daisy. It also showed a scene from the video and Sonny was dressed in his "Enos" uniform and driving a patrole car. I wish that I could give more info, but CMT Insider airs again tonight at 11:00 PM ET/PT.
