One word song titles seem to be unpopular in the Musical Chairs thread due to the way they limit the options. There are many great songs out there with only one word in their title (several came up on my MP3 player on my way home tonight), and quite a few of these are never likely to come up in Musical Chairs, so I thought I'd start this thread to collect some of these songs. I see that Hank Jr's 25th anniversary of "Country Boy Can Survive" has hit number one in CMT's videos this week. That song and "What the world needs is a few more rednecks" by The Charlies Daniels Band remind me a lot of them Duke boys. What other songs make you think of them?

I REALLY need help! I'm trying to figure out all the Lyrics to the Dukes CD soundtrack, and there are some things that I just CAN'T get. Television Soundtrack CD? What do you think about it?

Fellow Hazzardites, Y'all Remember Jerry Reed from Smokey and The Bandit ?He was something else, not only a great country singer and musician but also a writer and actor. He was awesome in Smokey and the Bandit, a crazy Good ol' boy it's a shame he never appeared on The Dukes Of Hazzard. He would have made a fine addition to the cast or as one of Boss's speed trap victims. I wish I could have met him. We Miss ya snowman.

Now I can think many songs that are just a name or has a guys or girls name it just for example Angelena, Juliet, Cathy's Clown, Jolene, Evengelena, Ophelia by Vince Gill can anybody name any other ones.

Could anyone please help me to identify a source for the backing music from Dukes of Hazzard. I've been searching for The Waylors, Waylon Jennings etc but I haven't found any real instrumental backing music from The Dukes of Hazzard.

Does anyone know any names of the songs that are used when the Dukes are gettin' away in the General?

Is it weird for a DOH fan (myself) to be a really huge fan of rock/metal music? I mean don't get me wrong I really like country too but my love of rock music overpowers country music. I'm not a stereotypical person, and I hate stereotypes personally but I always kinda thought most DOH fans are country music fans as well.

I had at one time on either cassette or cd almost all John's album excluding his first three. I would really like to see his album "Small One" he was only fifteen years old and it came out the same year I was born.

I think myself that her "Homewrecker" song would be perfect for the movie and Dierks song "How I am Doing".

My son is I believe one the the biggest DOH fans ever! That is all he talks ab out, writes papers about at school, and watches on TV. Which by the way I think is a good thing!
