after watching the good ol' boys run out rosco all those years makes me think, stunt wise... does Knoxville & Scott really have what it takes to slide across that hood or jump in and out of those windows? because if ya ask me, they couldve used a few classes from Tom & John on the subject honestly. then again i dont think Anyone could ever master getting in and out of a car like the Real duke boys. reguardless, how many people have you seen be able to slide across a hood on their knee? im gone. -Brad

I've seen a copy of it, and I must say I love it. There'S some stuff that could be better, but wahtthehell. i'm glad ( but also sad, that they crashed Dodge Chargers again) that finally a movie has come out, that is rilly interesting for me. Country Rock, Muscle Cars and Hillbilly lifestyle. That' my fetish. That's what I rilly dig. It's not easy in Germany when u are a freak like me. There's noc "Boars Nest" where u can hang out and drink a cold Coors. Yes I got me some american Budweisers (damn x-pensive her in Germany) and tomorrow we will invade the Cinema with 20 of my friends. Hope the German translation won't be too bad. The original Series was so bad translated,…

Hey guys i'm new here. I was casted as an extra in the movie and got to watch a lot of the filming in Baton Rouge and Clinton. Everyone was awesome on the set, esspecially Sean William Scott, Johnny Knoxville, and Willie Nelson. Below i have posted some photos i took during some of the filming, as well as a video. Feedback is appreciated, and please do not post these photos elsewhere. Thanks VIDEO: http://s50.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=0RNHAVHVNSKX92W39QJF45K4QC

Every movie gets edited, eventually. but in the trailer i began to notice tons of scenes from the dukes movie that never appeared in the actual film, that shouldve! i nabbed some screen shots here. let me know what you guys think. this one looks like the jump scene during the rally nearing the end of the flick: a great shot from the first jump in the film, not shown in theaters. Why!? It almost seems too good to be true, some say its computer generated, i say No. it was Real. Last Jump of the movie i presume? Okay Bo, why was this scene deleted buddy? A Great duo shot, one of many: Okay, in the background you can barely see the General lee, now this police cruise…

i was readin my copy of 'hot rod' magazine today with the general on the cover (im sure you all have it) and i came across a piece of interesting info about the jumps involved in the movie...there were actually 4 jumps, 3 which were launched by catapults, and 1 which was manned...now if you remember in the movie there were only 3 jumps: the bridge, highway, and courthouse...well the courthouse jump scene was first performed with a stunt driver...the stunt cooridinator thought that the jump was too short, so the first unit guys performed a catapult jump with the same car...so in the courthouse you actually see 2 jumps (different angles), not one.... just wonderin if y'all …

Well I saw the movie and loved it! I'm gonna try and see it again later this week. The girl I took liked it too and she's not country at all. Now the only thing I'm worried about is how much money it's gonna make cause lets face it, the only way we'll get a part two is if it does well at the box office. I went and saw it Friday night in Winter Park, FL, which is a very nice area in Orlando. Not a whole lot of people in that part of town that I thought would see this movie. In fact I parked my lifted F-150 between a Mercedez SLK 500 and a Dodge Viper. But to my surprise the movie theater was packed. I'm glad we got there a little early or we'd have been sitting in …

Alot of people didnt like he movie, casting, etc. but what do ya expect? its 2005! and made my broken lizard (which are pretty funny guys). Anyways, point here... anyone ever see the Original "Gone in 60 Seconds"? all of the stunts and jumps were Real! the Re-make of "Gone In 60 Seconds" was a great movie yea, but they had to cut the frames per/sec down to 15 when Cage hit the nitro in the LA Flood control, where in the original they just put the pedal to the floor reguarless. the Jump in the new "Gone In 60 Seconds" was Computer Generated, the Original film was Not. So what im Trying to say here is that the film makers kept some very important parts of the film (Jumps)…

I know this is nit-picky, but couldn't the editors have done something about the way Bo climbs out of the General? It looks very bad. It shows that Sean William Scott never got it down pat. Almost every time he's got one foot on the ground and the other still stuck inside. And I read an interview about him and Johny Knoxville....Sean says it was hard getting out of those windows. But if anyone on the movie set had bothered to refer to the old tv series (so that they might actually have a CLUE as to how the Dukes of Hazzard should be), they would notice that John Schnieder: 1. First, he raises his torso out of the car and, just for a second, sits on the door. 2. Then, whil…

I'm new to this so please be gentle with me!! Preview screenings of the new Dukes movie opened today in the UK, (officially opening on Friday 25 Aug). Growing up watching the original series I had mixed feelings about the film. Being a lifelong fan it is great to see the Dukes on the big screen at long last. Although disappointed that none of the original cast were involved. When I arrived at the 10 screen cinema I was the only person in the auditorium! By the time the adverts and trailers had been shown there was a grand total of 10 people, not a good start!!! I felt that the film had a slow start and didn't seem to be going anywhere. Luke was portrayed as a total h…

Some of the lines they came up with were both great and sad! I liked this one Bo:I am never getting out of this car, I'm gonna sleep in this car, eat in this car and make sweet love to this car! Luke: Don't you mean make sweet love in this car? Bo:No I mean to the car, I wanna have sex with the car! Oh my Bo was in love with the car! I hated this one Daisy:The boys are gonna get themselves in trouble and get thrown in jail and I'm gonna have to shake my ass at someone to get them out! Jesse:That's why we love ya dear! Jesse would have never said that! He also would have never punched anybody but what are ya gonna do? what do you think the best and worst lines were?

Personally i don't even wanna see it cuz i know i'll hate it. i don't like it when they take a perfectly great show and switch the characters. they also change the whole idea and they way everything should be. not only that but i've heard that the movie is nothing like the real DOH. I hear Rosco doesn't do the Kew Kew Kew thing and the General Lee's doors are'nt welded shut!!! i saw that Boss is'nt fat and the characters look nothing like they're supposed to!!! anyway as you probly figured out by now i really dont think much of the movie and i love the original DOH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Saw the movie for the first time today as today is the first day it came out in the cinema in the UK. I thought it was great. One of the best movies I have seen in long time. It is also one of the better re-makes Hollywood has done. I thought all the cast and crew and Warner Brothers did a great job on this movie. I really enjoyed this movie and so did my Dad who came and saw it with me. I really liked what they did with Boss,Enos, Rossco and Jessie. Gooter was great as always and I enjoyed Sheev who was a fun new character. I would like to of seen more of Cletus and more of down-town Hazzard. Great movie look forward to seeing this movie again and hope to s…
