I wonder where they will get the horn for the new movie? I watched the Dukes as a kid every friday at my babysitters and I now own the first season on dvd. Everytime I count the notes of the horn on the show, I get 12 notes. JCWhitney's Dixie horn plays 11. What gives? I'd like to have a horn like the one on the show. Maybe I just can't count, lol. Any ideas?

after watching the good ol' boys run out rosco all those years makes me think, stunt wise... does Knoxville & Scott really have what it takes to slide across that hood or jump in and out of those windows? because if ya ask me, they couldve used a few classes from Tom & John on the subject honestly. then again i dont think Anyone could ever master getting in and out of a car like the Real duke boys. reguardless, how many people have you seen be able to slide across a hood on their knee? im gone. -Brad

Watching the NASCAR Cup race form Chicagoland.....The movie was a sponsor of the race with commercials , all with the rating of PG-13... I figured the movie was going to get a PG-13 because of who is in it and some more adult content. There is one scen on the commercial where they the General "flying" onto the highway and a police officer starts to say "Holy S---" before they switch to another scene......... Later Darrell

I'm just going to flat out and say it. If you are a TRUE Dukes fan, don't buy this DVD. Who wants this farse of a movie to get any more money than it already has. We've all spoke our peace here and I think the consensus is that the movie isn't what we as TRUE Dukes fans wanted and we don't want them to make anymore like this. The best way for this to happen is if we don't support the DVD. I think we should push to have the TV Reunion movies released on DVD instead.

I think I might of made sence of why the director brought so much filth into Hazzard county IT IS NOT MEANT FOR US Put your self in the directors shoes. Your strictly making this movie for the money. You basicly have two target audiances 1 Dukes Fans. 2 Super Trupers/ Broken Lizard American Pie Jacka** Fans. They cleaned up the theater version to an extent so Dukes fans wouldn't outrage at WB but still left some stuff in for the other target audiance The point Im trying to make is that producers knew the Super Trupers/ Broken Lizard American Pie Jacka** Fans would be disapointed if it wasn't a dirty movie Therefore the unrated DVD is for them; not us

Can a big screen Dukes of Hazzard Movie really be as good as the show ? I mean even the movie moonrunners was good but when it does get made it will atleast be worth the wait, in the meantime we still have the dvd to take us back to those friday night when we sat down to watch Dukes so 01 will always ride forever.

I've seen a copy of it, and I must say I love it. There'S some stuff that could be better, but wahtthehell. i'm glad ( but also sad, that they crashed Dodge Chargers again) that finally a movie has come out, that is rilly interesting for me. Country Rock, Muscle Cars and Hillbilly lifestyle. That' my fetish. That's what I rilly dig. It's not easy in Germany when u are a freak like me. There's noc "Boars Nest" where u can hang out and drink a cold Coors.
