Dukes of Hazzard Movies

hi guys, I wonder which your favorite movie are most are? my favorite most are Beginning, Reunion, but dukes in hollywood are ok and other one with jessica simspon (daisyduke) movie is ok either. what about you guys like most are? thanks

I know the Dukes was only shot for 5 episodes in Georgia and the rest of the time in California, but the first 5 episodes were the best to me. I like the rural Georgia country roads. They were asphalt roads leading into the town of Hazzard but when they changed locations to California, the roads became dirt for some reason. It just seemed more real to me when they were filming in Georgia. I also hate the special effects of the last couple of years of the show. Some of the jumps were just to fake and you could tell it. Bit off topic, but it was just a gool ol winter country day in canada. Just looking back at the time of the duke boys in the 70's, watching how pure and decent everything was back then i decided to encode some film of my relatives farm through 1950-1977 and little did i know what to find 5 minutes into the flick! It's been widely reported that Ashton Kutcher was gonna have a leading role in the upcoming Dukes movie, but I've come across new information that conflicts with this. Ashton is currently working on another project for Columbia Pictures. The movie is called "The Dinner Party" and went into production 06/21/04. The movie is slated for release next summer, just about when Dukes was supposed to come out. Just saw the movie (unrated version) a few days ago. I have never seen the dukes of hazzard before, so I thought i'd give it a chance. Anyway, it made me want to see what the real dukes was like, so I'm watching a marathon on CMT right now. I think I like the series better. The few eps I've seen have the characters portrayed a lot different than on the movie, i think. Anyway, the one thing about the movie i thought was cool was seeing my university on the big screen (LSU). i found this in a dukes e-mail news letter: However, Wopat is not part of the upcoming "Dukes of Hazzard" movie, starring Jessica Simpson as Daisy Duke, Burt Reynolds as Boss Hogg and Willie Nelson as Uncle Jesse. Mr.Nelson performs the Dukes theme song, beyond awsome. but unfortuneate that its Only 1 minute long. who here wouldve like to hear an extended version (ie: 4min) of that opening theme? shouldve been done. im gone.

I was watchin tv the other nite and I saw Leno kinda knocking the dukes I was kinda surprised to see him of all people knock this movie. He himself claims to be a big car guy so I kinda figured and car person would love the movie. thats just my opion seeing as tho this is the best car movie since smokey and the bandit....at least imo....seeing as tho all the new movies use all the CGI crap.

its great to see that the WB is making progress Bo Luke and diasy have are cast but havent heard about jesse rosco or cooter. articales say its not exactly like the original dukes its being written directed by a guy who wrote super troopers Don't know if I like the sound of that. the general lee should be like the original general but who knows what they will do. I hope it has the charactoistis of the original and it sounds to me like they are going to make it different????? The original cast should appear in the movie but who knows if they will get the chance???????

I just wanted to let everyone know that Amy Grant's 'Three Wishes' television show that was shot a little over 3 weeks ago in Covington will be airing this Friday night, October 21st, on NBC. Aside from Covington being the original "Hazzard County", I'm very interested to see just how the General Lee and 'The Dukes of Hazzard' will be connected with the show. GA-Duke01

While going to my local target at 9:00 AM, I passed the cheap movie section and saw dukes of hazzard there for 13.97$ all I have to say is..... YAY!

It's... awful... the General... might... become... this! THIS IS AWFUL! The new Charger. And they have the gald to call it the Road and Track edition, same title as the General. What if they use this in the movie! I don't think Jessica Simpson will fit through it (cool! Maybe that can get her thrown off the movie! > Your opinion on this?

I saw this movie today in the UK and there is no talk of any drugs in this movie. I know 12 seconds got cut from the uk version and I also know that Jay said that when the DVD comes out they will have 1 DVD that is the same as the one you see in the cinema and another one that will be an adult one which will be a bit different to the other one. I am not sure what Ben Jones and any other Dukes fan is moaning about. If I had young kids I would take them to this movie. I see nothing to adult about this movie.

I dont know if it did happen it was from a interview with the Director (I know there's talk that Catherine Bach may appear his answer We talked to her. We haven't been able to work it out YET. We want her to but I haven't talked to her. I dont know her. I had a poster on my wall for a long time.) Again i dont know if this every happened but i seemed to my that Catherine unlike the other had no problem with them making a movie and if this did happen we might just see one of the original actors

What if the Hogg Burt Reynolds plays is really a nephew or something with the exact same name as the original JD? The film could open up with a scene where Burt is sitting behind his desk counting cash, with a painting of the first Boss Hogg (may he rest in peace) on the wall in the office. Yeah, the latest Hogg is tall and skinny, but still a Hogg for money. Here's something else not related. I'd kind of like to see Shiriff Cotrane with a promotion or two under his belt. Like give him a couple more men to command, or something like that. A way of showing that even Hazzard county evloves with the times. Anyway, that's my two cents. Can't wait for Daisy and the General.!!
