I dont know if it did happen it was from a interview with the Director

We talked to her. We haven't been able to work it out YET. We want her to but I haven't talked to her. I dont know her. I had a poster on my wall for a long time.)

Again i dont know if this every happened but i seemed to my that Catherine unlike the other had no problem with them making a movie and if this did happen we might just see one of the original actors

The director was probobly too embarased to admit to the press he did't want original cast to appear in the movie. Ben Jones tried to contact the director and was ignored.

two reasons why the original cast will not appear:

1 The director / producers didn't want them to be a part of it

2 The original cast did not want to appear since the new movie is so diffrent from the show

The only reason some fans wanted to see them is because they couln't imagine a dukes movie without the original cast

If anything they might have a portrit of picture of the original cast

like the painting of Boss Hogg that was on the wall in the sheriffs office in the reuinion movie . I would NOT coun't on that.... Theyed probobly have to get premmision from the original cast

Personally, I doubt anyone from the original cast will show up in the movie. I think the director was being PC. I mean he cant say "Yaeh we contacated the original cast but they told us no because they dont like what we're doing."
