Dukes of Hazzard Movies

I know this has been discussed numerous times, but bare with me... okay all, as a few here may know im a Serious movie buff. and a big fan of Broken Lizard's films as well but after watching the flames the other night my bud decided "hey. i just bought the dukes movie! lets watch it!" when we all saw it in theaters as is. And enjoyed the theater version. it was fresh and new. Anyways... im Completely Disgisted! Un-Rated? WTF?! what did they do to cooter?! christ. i Swear i will NEVER watch that flick again except the chase scenes and extras. the nudity was one thing. but the drug use? actually showing it happening?! and the Language??! OMFG! Now i understand where Ben Jo…

Official word is that Warner Brothers has 2 movie trailers that will premiere at the superbowl, one is the new full lenght trailer for Batman Begins and the other is what is called a teaser for the dukes of hazzard. Batman begins will be 2 1/2 minutes long while the DOH Teaser will be less than 30 seconds

Hey I just finished season 2 on DVD, and thought it was great, well obviously it was...it was the DUKES! Hey when are we gunna see season 3,4, etc? Is it based on the Success of the movie? Thanks

I'm of the opinion the original cast can't ( and shouldn't ) be replaced. But there's something to be said for keeping the Dukes of Hazzard adventures going for generations to come, so long as '69 Charges don't become extinct in the process. That bein' said... The "next generation" concept, which would give the original cast well-deserved screen time, would be the best way to appeal to longtime fans while drawing new folks that never saw the show in their life. I want to see how "vanilla" it was before Broken Lizard put their "tain...oops, I mean spin", yeah that's right....... on it and read it for myself. Anyone know where I can get a copy? or read it online?

Just something for some people who are intrested in seeing the movie. The orginal series, when it started back in the 70's, got horrible reviews and the big wigs HATED the show. Needless to say we are still talking about and loving the saw that is The Dukes of Hazzard 30 years later!!!

I wonder where they will get the horn for the new movie? I watched the Dukes as a kid every friday at my babysitters and I now own the first season on dvd. Everytime I count the notes of the horn on the show, I get 12 notes. JCWhitney's Dixie horn plays 11. What gives? I'd like to have a horn like the one on the show. Maybe I just can't count, lol. Any ideas?

It has been 21 years since the 2005 movie was released. Like many here, I followed the production avidly in 2004-2005. At the time I was a freshman in college. Today I'm 40 years old. LOL I've always had mixed feelings about the movie. While it might have some entertainment value as a movie by itself, it isn't the movie that the Dukes fanbase had hoped for.

I was wondering what y'all would want to see in a dukes movie if it featured all the original cast in one last hurrah on the big screen. I would want to see the biggest scam to come through hazzard, one that maybe even concerns residents outside hazzard county, something perhaps on the grandest scale...A Dukes save the world kind of plot I guess. I feel like it would have to be something that would set up everyone leaving afterwards. Daisy falls in love, Cooter starts thinking about politics, Bo and Luke realize their dreams, Rosco saves the day. I just see it making everything come full circle. Your thoughts??

Are Tom and John are to be in the movie ? cause I thought of this neat idea for the movie having Tom and John be Bo and Luke's Daddy's .
