Last Friday he was moving rugs for my grandma, which he wasn't supposed to and he just sat down on the floor, and hurt his butt. So Sunday night, he kept saying that he wanted to go to the ER, so luckily when my grandma called the hospital his doctor was there and said to take him Mon. afternoon. The next morning my grandma got him up and they ate breakfast, everything was fine. Then he told her that he was hot, which he was always cold. She got him a new shirt and helped him dress. then she was reading the newspaper and talking to him and he didn't say anything, she looked and he was gone. He had a heart attack. Hi everyone, I just got off the phone with Tom Sarmento and he asked me to update everyone on the condition of Al Wyatt, Jr. Al is still having a lot of problems from the staph infection/knee surgery which he recently had. Recovery has not gone well to this point. Medication has also caused some problems as Al has some slurred speech and is extremely tired. He lives close to the beach in Malibu and always spent a lot of time in the water. That is impossible for him now. His wife, Susan, told Tom that Al will be admitted into the hospital again tomorrow, Monday, May 4, where he will be prepped for a new surgery. He will be released on Tuesday, May 5, to go home and …

Every page I goto, it has the yellow ActiveX bar at the top. I click on it and theres not much information about it ut I click OK but it still pops up. I get it everytime. It;s only on this site. I'm using Internet Explorer. I'm gonna sign out in sign back in on Netscape. Edit: I'm using Netscape and I also get an error: "Additional plugins are requried to display all the media on this page" I click the Install Missing Pluins button but it says that "No suitable plugins were found" I'm gonna sign in on Firefox. 2nd Edit: I'm using Firefox and don't seem to have the error. Guess I should have used Firefox before.

To the Hazzardites in the frozen Northeast right now. Here in PA we got 6 inches of snow plus about an inch of freezing rain and back to snow this morning. I barely made it to work at back yesterday. (I'm a nurse, I can't cancel due to weather). I almost spent the night at the hospital. Today I have off, I ain't going nowhere. I'm planning on cooking and a Dukes marathon, and research on my fanfiction. What's your snowed in plans? Pendragon

Hey all... I am goin' to see Lynyrd Skynyrd tomorrow night right here in Long Island...I have seen them at least a dozen times since the Tribute tour in 87 ,when they got back together 10 years after the plane crash..I think I am excited about this one show more than alot of the others, I am taking my 10 year old daughter to her first concert. She is just as excited as me, she has been talking about it all summer..Now the time is here to finally go, what a way for ther to end the summer... Darrell

This might be a stupid question, but i was wondering if they ever mentioned Bo, Luke, and Daisy ages as their charactors. I know that when the show stard that Tom was 27, Cathy was 25 and John was 19, but what about the charactors? Does anyone know?

I had thought that my Cyber-Stalker had finally given up but unfortunately she sent yet another message this week. As usual when I tried to contact FanFiction I didn't receive a reply. I have ISP addresses but the names change with every contact. I swear, someone this obsessed for this long should be in a mental hospital. I tried not to let it bother me but a part of me had to admit that to be the object of such obsession is a bit frightening. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to deal with my Stalker for my Dukes Stories?

I plan to start work on my own GENERAL LEE. I need some help on finding a 1969 Dodge Charger R/T. I have no clue where to look at all. I have noticed postings on this forum about recurring dreams of being chased...by Rosco P. Coltraine. I have dreamed many times about the Dukes, and after studying the phenomena, have discovered the cause. We often dream of being chased. This happens to many people. Duke fans associate being chased with the General Lee, automatically. Therefore, it is not likely that Duke fans can dream of being chased without dreaming of the Dukes. My first dream of this sort began by me being chased by a great flying beast of some sort. After a way down the road, however, the beast turned into Rosco, and I was in a car. And more TV channels are at it now with posting those triggers before starting programs. Mom watched Rush Hour 2 last night on VH1. It probably showed all 3 because 3 came on when 2 went off. But anyway, as 3 was starting it said across the screen This movie contains language, cultural stereotypes that today might be offensive.

Anytime I see the word hazard spelled somewhere my initial response is that some dummy misspelled it and forgot a Z. Then I think twice and realizze (two zs) I'm the dummy who doesn't know how to spell. Has anybody else here had that happen to them? I guess that's a sign that you're a serious fan....and I'm proud to say I am.

After reading another thread asking if you've ever cried during an episode, I am motivated to ask this question. If you could pick a single scene that put you in Hazzard Heaven, what would it be? I considered the opening scene from season one, episode one. I also thought of the time that the Dukes accepted Boss into their home at the end of "The Great Santa Claus Chase" but my favorite Hazzard Heaven moment came when the boys walked in the door of the Boar's Nest in "Welcome Back Bo 'n Luke". I'm smiling from ear to ear right now just thinking about it.

I know Sorrell Booke wore a fat suit to appear as large as he needed to for Boss Hogg, but I was just wondering, was the same true for Peggy Rea? I've never heard if she was really that big in real life, I know she wasn't that big on the season 1 DVD but I was just wondering about during the series run was she really that big or did she wear a fat suit like Sorrell?

I've been thinking lately how I'll never own a repicla of any vehicle from the show then it hit me.....I love dirt bikes. I have since I was little. Maybe I should consider making a replica of Mix Tisdales motorcycle. Is it possible to find out what year and engine size it was? Im no Cooter but I am good enough with dirt bikes to fix one up if I could get one that was the right model and year. I'm embarrassed I can't tell what it is by just seeing it but since I can't I hope someone can help. THANKS

Okay, just a little musing going on over here in England as I watch Dukes, and I've come across the reason I love them Dukes so much....aside from the very hot boys, incrediably smart and able girl, the family dynamic and the General Lee...its the fact that they live in a world where material things arn't important to them. Where finding a $5 bill is as exciting as finding a million, where all they have is land, family and an awsome race car and they're content with that. They dont care how much someone does or doesn't have, any extra money they get is usually donated to those who need it and they never actively seek out any reward for what they do around Hazzard.
