Y'all should check out this guy's channel. He made a great point about the reason he thinks the show is not allowed to be on in reruns anymore. He thinks it's not only the flag fiasco, but the positive message the show puts out as a whole. That message being the government doesn't want its people to know that we can stand up and fight for what's right against a corrupt system. I whole heartedly agree with him!

this week at my high school is homecoming week, and everyday we have a different dress up day. Well today was dress up like your favorite TV character... and about half the girls at school dressed up like daisy duke...which was pretty funny.

I've seen this two-hour movie premiered on April 20th and in other places later in September of 1980. Does anyone know the correct date?

Is it just me, or were none of the original interior sets used in this movie? Not to mention Uncle Jesse's house was completely different from the show. Never thought he'd be one to tear down his ancestor's house and all.

I'm building a detailed model of the Hazzard Garage, trying to match everything seen in the series. There is one object in the garage that is a mystery to me- in one corner is some sort of 'hood' object. Anyone have any idea what its supposed to be (in the context of an auto repair garage)? Can I make a The Dukes of Hazzard General Lee Go Cart by putting a 1968 1969 Dodge Charger car body on a Go Cart frame? Is this doable? If I ever do this, should I let the doors open or seal them shut? You know in all the productions, the doors opened. They were sealed in the story making windows entry and exit. But not actually sealed. I think stuntmen went in and out the doors. The actors used windows. But sometimes off camera you could hear it slam shut. I like all 7 seasons all 147 episodes. So choosing between GA 1-5 or CA 6- 147 would be hard to pick a version for the Go Cart to be based on.

Just seen a new Dukes of Hazzard complete series set @ my local Walmart for $59.99, looks like it would take up less than half the shelf space of the old season sets. This is an official WB release not a lower definition Mill Creek release like a lot of other 80's tv complete sets are.

My wife was watching an older movie called "She's All That" with Freddie Prinze Jr in it when she called me in the room after hitting the pause button. Halfway through the movie Freddie walks in his girlfriend's house and her brother has a plastic Dukes of Hazzard cup from 1981 on the table. My wife recognized it right away since I have the same one on my dresser so of course I grabbed it and held it up to the screen beside it. It's always so cool when something related to Dukes pops up when you weren't expecting it.

I see that Dave's Mobile Dukes of Hazzard Museum is going to be at the Northeast Ohio Dukes Stunt Show on Saturday Aug 25. For some reason I thought Dave was a member of HazzardNet. Does anybody know?

I am looking for some really good screenshots of the actress who played Cooter's daughter in the episode 'Cooter's girl' I found a few on her personal website but they weren't really good ones. If I can't find them on the web I suppose I'll just have to wait till season 6 comes out in May *sigh* that's a long wait. Brandy

I thought I had ALL 147, episodes PLUS the two reunion movies and I THINK I have that crappie " New Dukes", with Johnny Knoxville, etc. ......but I NEVER even HEARD of this one!! Hey, maybe I'm late to the party ( I usually am) but I came across this somewhere, the other day. Paul Baxley, ( everybody knows who he is, right?) He was the stunt coordinator on the GodFather! I really feel that there were certain common things that the Dukes of Hazzard and the Prime Time Soap Dallas mutually shared.
