John Schneider / Bo Duke

I attended a Childrens Mirical Network Telethon with my uncle. At the telethon is where I met John Schneider. He is a very nice guy. He set some time aside and we talked about what it was like filming the show. He said it was the most fun he's had filming a show. He signed a football for me and took several pictures. It was a day I will never forget. I grew up watching the Dukes Of Hazzard. My long time dream would be to own a 69' Dodge Charger like the General Lee. Well that's all for know. Just wanted to share my encounter with Bo Duke. Yeehaw !!!!

I am at work, so I didn't see it, but she said John was on The Today Show this morning talking about the 30th Anniversary of The Dukes of Hazzard. Anyone else see it? any feedback?

Hi I am new to this web site! I have been a Dukes of Hazzard Fan since I was three years old!! That dates me because that was almost 26 years ago. I am just looking for anyone to chat with and give me any interesting little snippets about the show or any appearances. I really wish I could go to Dukes Fest in June but I live in Michigan and I can't afford the cost to get down there. Does anyone know if any possible events in the Michigan area? I am a huge John Schnieder fan and I even have tons of pics hanging up on my wall at work. I call it my wall of happiness!! Believe me it helps get me through the day!! I thought we could have a thread where we share our John pictures, I havne't seen one around and thought I could start one. I've got a bunch of pictures of John's family (okay about 8 or 9) but that's pretty much it.

I heard John talk about filming somewhere (can't remember where) And he said it would be Placid Lake 2. I'm thinking it would be a pretty big role: He's such a credited actor. And I doubt he'd waste his time in something he'd play a very small part in. Or at least not have a character that doesn't die with some kind of dignity and/or purpose. Anyway, I'm interested in learning more about it. Anybody have more of a clue than me? ~She-Wolf

Is anyone interested in owning Around the House CDs which John Schneider originally recorded and sold as cassettes in the 1980s and 1990s for his No 1 Fan Club? I want to know how many people are interested. If there is a big interest these cassettes will be reissued and sold as CDs for fans.

Hey y'all I was just watching "Race Day" on SPEED when this commercial comes on and I was thinking this guy on this commercial looks like John Schneider. Well guess what. It was John Schneider. John Schneider will be on "R U Faster than a Redneck". It is on SPEED Channel tomorrow night. It is on at 8:00 Central time. Looks good but sadly I won't be able to watch it. Just exciting to see Bo Duke in between Race Day...

sean william scott he played bo in the new movie i read in a newspaper article where he said that he knew nothing about the show dukes of hazzard when he played in the movie they asked him did he perfect sliding across the hood of the general he said yes but getting in the windows was a b**** he made the comment that bo an luke must have been coke heads in order to get thru the windows so fast(to you scott they were not coke heads just natural actors something you will never have you jerk) i hope bo an luke kicks your ass

On Sunday 13th, on italian tv Canale 5, there'll be "shark swarm" with John!! I couldn't believe my eyes when I read it!!

Some days ago I saw the last episode of 7th season "Opening night at the Boars Nest" and I discovered that John wrote the episode, too, not only directed it. It made me laugh that, while on the initial theme song, when we see the names of the actors, John appears as "John Schneider". In this episode, on the credits (written and directed by) he appears as "John R. Schneider", as for example for "Collier and co.". Maybe a director needs the complete name, ah ah?
