  1. I don't know any Irish and I only know a tiny bit of Scottish Gaelic, so I'll just say "Tapadh leat". "Thank you!" I've always wanted to visit there and Ayrshire, Scotland to do some genealogical research and see where my ancestors lived.
  2. My ancestors are from County Cork, so I have no excuse either. LOL.
  3. I can do 9 pm eastern. I think we'll have to do a European and North American version, so we should try to settle on two times that will work best for everybody. Once we settle on times, I'll post a notice on the main page to maybe bring in some new folks too.
  4. Prayers going up for Rusty. I hope he pulls through!
  5. I would like to make it a regular thing, at least monthly to start and if we get enough interest, maybe weekly on the weekends. It's been a while since I watched my dvds (I know, I know... for shame. LOL), so it'll be fun.
  6. I'm rooting for the Red Sox, but I really don't feel strongly about one team or the other. I used to go to Dodger games every once in a while when I lived in LA. This was around the time the Dodgers last won the World Series. One time, we had the really cheap seats out in right field. After warm up, one of the outfielders tossed a ball up to me (I had my glove with me). I don't remember who it was, but I wrote his name and the date on the ball. I still have it somewhere.
  7. Ah, a perfectionist! I used to be one of those. Then I decided I should stop making things harder for myself. LOL.
  8. Hoss, if you're not making a living as a graphic designer, you missed your calling.
  9. LOL. Sorry, I keep forgetting you're in Ireland. I know a lot of folks in the UK and do chats for other shows with them, so I tend to get stuck on "UK time". I guess if I start using "British Isles", I'll be safe. LOL.
  10. Yeah, in the middle of the week is hard to set up a time good for everybody. Weekends are a bit more flexible. That's a good idea about separate showings. Hoss, you wanna host a UK chat along at a good time for the UK/Europe folks and we'll have one following in a few hours here in the western hemisphere?
  11. Family should take precedence over sports anyway. See, that's what VCRs and DVRs were invented for, so you can watch it whenever you want! Glad you had fun at the pumpkin patch.
  12. I'm sure Garrett will show up here soon to talk Chicago Cubs and Roger will want to discuss his Pirates. I wish the Dodgers had made it to the series.
  13. Did I see the doors open? LOL. I suppose there's no getting around that in a video game unless you write a mod. Nice videos.
  14. Works for me. How about everyone else?
  15. That's a great idea. What time works best for everybody?
  16. I know you were. I was teasing back. Rog will be unhappy to hear that I rooted for them over the pirates. Sorry, Rog. Sometimes we have to make tough choices in life. LOL.
  17. Do you know how hard it would be to alter the code of the forum software to hide the Like button from just you? LOL. I could do it, but it hardly seems worth it. Besides, who would keep the HazzardNetizens up to date on NASCAR news? That was another suggestion of yours, right? The NASCAR sub-forum? See, I did that JUST for you. And for the record, I have been rooting for the Bears most if this season, along with my Seahawks.
  18. Would anybody be interested in meeting in the chat room on Saturday, November 2nd, with our DVDs ready to go for a viewing of One Armed Bandits? If so, what time works best for you? I was thinking 5 or 6 pm eastern, which would make it 10 or 11 pm for our UK friends.
  19. I didn't tell it to hide from you, I swear!
  20. It's under the Reply To Thread button and thread title at the top of the thread.
  21. I don't blame you for that. Most of the time I run across those buttons on websites, they include your avatar and a white box that covers half the content. Fortunately, AFAIK, this button doesn't do that.
  22. It's kind of tiny, just under the "Thread: Thread Title" line. I don't think you have to be logged in to Facebook to see or use it, but I might be wrong. Hmm, I wonder if I can make the button a little bigger.
  23. I poked around a bit and found the setting to enable Facebook Likes at the top of each thread. If you're on Facebook, feel free to share your favorite threads with your friends.
