  1. FYI, this thread has been cleaned of images from jake01 because he appears to have deleted them from his photobucket account, so they no longer show. His "What If Cars" thread has been deleted for the same reason. Also, he (or someone accessing his account) has left messages saying he has been banned for being a thief. Nobody at HazzardNet has banned him for anything and nobody has accused him of theft. However, if accusations or behavior like that continues, we WILL ban him. Just wanted to set the record straight.
  2. If y'all haven't already figured it out, Hoss is the man.
  3. Sorry to break it to you, but Jimmie didn't play the guitar in the Andy Griffith episodes. He faked it. The close-ups of the playing may have been jazz guitarist Herb Ellis, who played Bobby Fleet in the second episode Jimmie was in, "The Guitar Player Returns", but I can't confirm that.
  4. He was in The Grave, Jess-Belle, and The Last Rites of Jeff Myrtlebank.
  5. I would have to agree with Hoss. I think we should have a separate Facebook fan of the month. Facebook is much different than HNet and the level of participation is too. You have only to look at the detail in some of the HazzardNet threads to realize that (the trivia thread, Hoss' locations thread, etc). HNet contributions are much more substantial. Besides, if we recognize someone on FB for a particular contribution that occurred months or even just weeks ago, how are you going to find it on Facebook? FB is a little more ethereal. Everything on HNet is readily available with a handy dandy search function, so folks can look up particular contributions easily. I definitely think we should have separate fans of the month.
  6. I'm still a tad more than a decade from 49 and I was getting stuff from AARP 10 years ago. LOL! The biggest problem I have with them is they keep circulating that article about Robert Culp's death. He's been dead two years already...
  7. LOL. I think I may know what (censored) is.
  8. I know for me, it's too far away, too expensive, and I have lots of other higher priorities right now.
  9. If you aren't already sold on the idea of a fake ID and you have to ask other Dukes fans, I think you already know the answer.
  10. Hate to break this to you, Rog, but they could probably play Dukes on TVLand if they wanted to. TVLand and CMT are both owned by the same parent company, Viacom (also owner of MTV and VH1). I think it's very doubtful, especially with TVLand's recent skew towards brand new "original" programming, that it'll be playing there.
  11. Saturday Night and Sunday Morning - Phil Collins My favorite is Sunday morning of course... nice groove there..
  12. That's what I'm here for. LOL.

  13. You might want to keep an eye on our action figure auction page. Mostly there are 3 3/4" figures there, but occasionally there are 8" megos up for sale. http://www.hazzardnet.com/auctions/merchandise/action_figures.php
  14. We had a classified section of the site at one time, which hardly anyone used. We do have a car & parts section where you can post your wheels for sale. http://www.hazzardnet.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=136
  15. "Lynching" has a negative connotation even beyond anything that applies to race. It is taking the law into one's own hands to execute someone who may or may not be guilty of wrongdoing. That's also something I strongly disagree with.
  16. I don't like that word being used no matter how you meant it. The connotation will always be negative and doesn't help your argument in the least. In fact, it hurts it... a lot. Here you are presenting an argument about Dukes not being racist and then you advocate lynching, albeit it "verbal". Not good.
  17. Sorry, I don't agree with this at all and it's rather inflammatory. I suggest you tone it down. I don't believe anybody should be lynched for free speech, even if I don't agree with it.
  18. I like the sun/star. I'd hate to be living on that little planet though. Toast city. LOL.
  19. LOL, Hoss. You also spell your words strangely as well, frequently using "s" instead of "z" (or should I say "zed").
  20. Speaking of One Horse Towns.... One Horse Town - Elton John
  21. The juxtaposition of toes and toast reminds me... One of my sisters, when she was little, called dinner "toast". Only, she couldn't say toast. When dinner was ready, she'd go find my dad and say "Daddy, time'a eat toes!" And after listening to that, I'm in the mood for toast. LOL. Staying on the food topic... - Freddy Fender (Dukes fans will recognize this!)Son of a gun, we'll have big fun on the bayou!
  22. Most definitely. It's basically the ONLY reason we still have cable at the moment. If we can get a better antenna that picks up MeTV (we have a hill in the way), we'd dump cable altogether and live off MeTV and Netflix streaming. Classic TV heaven. I don't mind some 80's programming like Magnum PI, Simon & Simon, Dukes, etc, but yeah, there's plenty of 80's tv I wouldn't want on there. LOL. That's where TV Land went wrong, putting more recent shows on (Boston Legal? Really?) and all these new "original programming" and reality tv shows. I'm content with the 50's, 60's, and 70's. On nights I'm up late, I've caught some Mission Impossible, 12 O' Clock High, and Combat! too. In fact, the Combat! episode with Jimmie was on just a few weeks ago, as was the Jess-Belle episode of Twilight Zone. There are always very recognizable character actors on those old shows... some who've even been on Dukes! My hubby and I love old horror/sci-fi/b movies, so we catch Svengoolie every Saturday. We pop up some popcorn and turn the lights off. Saturday is definitely "family viewing" night in our household.
