  1. I've uploaded the file for download from HazzardNet, in case the above link stops working at some point too. http://www.hazzardnet.com/blog/?file_id=15
  2. Jim Croce, a master. Love this song... beautiful. I have played this on a loop before. LOL. I'm walkin' back to Georgia She's the only one who knows How it feels when you lose a dream And how it feels when you dream alone But she's the girl who said she loved me On that hot dusty Macon road And if she's still around I'm gonna settle down With that hard lovin' Georgia girl

    Commercials

I think we can probably all agree that the worst commercial was the GoDaddy one. *hurl* Disgusting potential customers is not a great way to drum up business.
  4. Let's see if my own website will censor me... - Elton JohnI'm a *****, I'm a ***** Oh the ***** is back Stone cold sober as a matter of fact I can *****, I can ***** `Cause I'm better than you It's the way that I move The things that I do Incidentally, the tall blond guitarist in the video is Davey Johnstone. Don't know if I told this story before, but I'll tell it again. Back in '94 when I was waiting for friends before Elton's concert at the Greek Amphitheater, Davey came out and stood next to me, waiting for someone himself. I turned and I swear all I saw was a waist. I looked up and up and up til I finally saw his face and realized who it was. The dude is TALL! LOL.

    Commercials

I miss being able to hear Paul Harvey on the radio. That one and the one with the Clydesdale got me misty. "Farmer" - Clydesdales "Brotherhood" - http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=o2prAccclXs
  6. Thanks. I almost didn't think the Ravens would hold on for the win.
  7. Johnny's been fired. HazzardNet's server should be more stable from here on out. *fingers crossed*
  8. Folks, we started having performance issues with the server two days ago. I've had to restart the server multiple times. I've been trying to run down the issue and I think I've narrowed it down to the database. I put in a tech support ticket several hours ago because it's not something I can fix on my end at this point. There may be intermittent down time until the issue gets resolved. I receive emails every time the server goes down, so there's no need to email me if HazzardNet is down. Thanks for your patience.
  9. Ok, so the forum upgrade didn't happen, obviously. LOL. I had a lot more bills this month than expected, so the upgrade purchase was put on hold for the time being. However, if any of you would like to contribute to the forum upgrade, I've put a ChipIn widget on the home page (upper left side) where you can contribute via PayPal. We will, of course, recognize all those who contribute and thank you profusely. The new software has some great new features that I'm looking forward to playing around with once we purchase the upgrade. I'm going to do a trial of the new software in the next week and I'll post a list of some of the cooler things here after I do. -Mufn
  10. I've been wanting to make one of these for a while, so I finally did it. Of course, I had to pick DOH colors. Also, check out the emergency whistle on the buckle. The Hazzard County Sheriff's Department could have used one of these. LOL!
  11. Good news! Good news! Teenser sent me this... “The Sweeter Side of Life” was seen by nearly 3.1 million unduplicated viewers. Competitively, “The Sweeter Side of Life”ranked as the #2 rated Prime Time ad-supported cable movie of the DAY, as well as the #3 movie of the WEEK, beating theatrical titles such as “Cinderella” (ABC Fam), “Iron Man 2” (FX), “The Book of Eli” (TNT), “Aladdin” (ABC Fam), “Wedding Crashers” (CMDY), “Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines” (TNT) and “Spiderman 3". The Bests would like to thank all the fans that helped make this possible.
  12. I'm also rooting for the Ravens, since the Falcons and the Seahawks were eliminated. Gotta root for a bird. Being from LA, I CAN'T root for San Francisco. It'd be blasphemy to my SoCal roots. LOL.
  13. Yes, she did. I recognized her right away. She was the blonde customer that everybody shoved to the back. Also, Hoss, I emailed Teenser and asked if the movie will be released in the UK. Waiting on an answer.
  14. I talked to Teenser tonight and she said it might come out on dvd in a few months. I really enjoyed the movie. Jimmie was great.
  15. I'm watching it right now! I'm loving it! This might be one for the dvd collection if they release it on dvd.
  16. Excellent, Hoss! Thanks for putting that together. It's great to see her in earlier roles like this.
  17. I'm looking forward to next season. Very high hopes because we have a really good team. I agree there should be unsportsmanlike conduct or delay of game called for that. I mean, a hit after the play is called dead is penalized. If they can call unsportsmanlike conduct for excessive celebration or removing a helmet on the field, they should be able to call it for taking unfair advantage by getting a free kick. That's neither here nor there, though, because Seattle should have won it, should have gone for the field goal instead of going for it on 4th down.
  18. I finally got to watch the Seattle/Falcons game on DVR. It was SO wrong that the Falcons kicked it after time out was called, essentially getting a practice kick. We rewound it several times and whistles were blown well before the snap. Far enough before the snap that the center never should have snapped it. Everyone on the line was already standing up and refs were waving their hands, but they snapped it anyway and the kicker kicked, knowing the play was already called off. I don't agree with icing the kicker, it rarely works, but the Falcons shouldn't have gotten a free kick. Honestly, I think the worst play call was when Pete Carroll went for it on 4th down instead of kicking a field goal. They would have won if he'd done that. Seahawks should have won this game. They beat themselves.
  19. That depends on a few things. Are we using only 24 standard time zones or the 40 world time zones? And when do you start drinking? The minute the clock strikes your birthday or an hour in? Also, where are you? If you're in the US, there are several parts of the world where it's already the day after your birthday. Should we just assume you're living in the Pacific Ocean like Samoa or Tonga so you get the longest possible birthday? (You know me, I have to complicate things.)
  20. I'm rooting for the rest of the birds left in the race. LOL. I'd like an all bird super bowl, Ravens vs. Falcons.
  21. Another favorite. Johnny kills his victims in a rather interesting manner. Love the Elton John glasses on Sorrell. LOL!
  22. Life is indeed too short. There are really no words adequate to describe the feelings when going through the loss of someone you admired, especially when they die so young. My condolences. I learned a few years ago that one of my former teammates from our high school fastpitch softball team died of a heart attack at the age of 31. She was in excellent physical condition, even played on the women's professional beach volleyball circuit, but had an undiagnosed heart problem which took her life suddenly. I was shocked, to say the least. Something like that is just difficult to process.
  23. This forum is the Tom Wopat forum. This would be the appropriate place.
