Pretty sure they're only here to surreptitiously spam. They had a teeny tiny link in their latest post, so I dropped the ban hammer.

That's the exact line that always gets a lump in my throat and my eyes tear up.

...for the county. Wichita Lineman makes me sad. One of my dad's early jobs was as a lineman for PacBell. It hits even harder now that he's in a nursing home after his stroke. I hear you singing in the wire I can hear you through the whine And the Wichita lineman Is still on the line

Happy 4th, Hazzard Style! Enjoy working today, Hoss.

Rosco plowing through the fruit stand during "can't stay in their lane" makes me laugh every single time. ๐คฃ

That "Yeehaw!" in the beginning was just a happy accident in timing. The rest were pretty much planned. That was so much fun to do, but I'm tired. I was up til about 2:30am working on it. ๐

I updated the forum software today. If you find any weirdness, post about it in this topic so I can check it out.

GUY, as in Waldron, creator of the show.

I hope you all enjoyed your Christmas. We had BBQ this year and it was delicious. Plus, we got to spend it with family this year, first time in 2 years.
-
Thanks, everyone! I had a good birthday, despite some rough times my family has been going through. Looking forward to the new year.

We had snow here at the Mufn homestead a few weeks back, but looks like we won't have snow for Christmas. Might have some a few days later though. Wishing you all a happy, healthy Christmas and New Year.

Meadowmufn replied to Skipper Duke's topic in Dukes of Hazzard General Discussion
Hoss and Boss are right, accuracy on quotes is important. Skipper, I also agree with Hoss regarding the number and frequency of posts. It dilutes the important discussions to just post every thought that comes into your head and this is not the place for that. If you continue to spam off-topic posts, I will have to limit the number of posts you can make daily. -
Had to update the forums to the latest and greatest software today after putting it off for way too long. As usual, let me know if you run into any issues.

Hey, everybody. Sorry for the downtime today. The datacenter the HazzardNet server was in lost power while they were doing UPS maintenance. They had to migrate nodes to new servers due to filesystem corruption. I think HNet got through it relatively unscathed with minimal data loss, but if you notice any posts missing, that's why.

Don't feel bad about it. Not everything is perfect in Hazzard and they occasionally had to tackle tough stuff. So it is here as well. You do what you feel you need to do, whether it's talk or wrap this thread up. Believe me, everyone will understand.

Roger, I am so sorry to hear this. No parent should have to bury their child. My thoughts and prayers are with you. We're here for you if you need to talk, either in public or private. Sending virtual hugs.

He was younger than I am. I think his 49th birthday would've been later this month. -
R. I. P. Aneesh A. Sehgal
Meadowmufn replied to Skipper Duke's topic in Dukes of Hazzard General Discussion
I am so sorry to hear this. I was in the fan club back in the day. Aneesh was very passionate about the show and was a huge part of keeping the fandom alive after the show finished its original run. -
It's like they put Mr. Bean in a Johnny English scenario.

Sorry to hear this, Skipper. I hope Gary's family is doing well despite the situation. -
Thanks! I hope all of you have a wonderful Christmas! I have a birthday cheesecake I am dying to cut into later.

I'm still lurking around here, Hobie. We had an ice storm yesterday and managed to get through it without losing power. Last time we had an ice storm, we lost power for 3 days. Stay safe and warm, everybody. Wishing you peace and joy this Christmas, my cousins. And a Happy New Year!
