  1. I didn't remember Brenda Lee being on the show either but Catherine Bach claimed that she was (see special features on the season 4 DVD). I guess she messed up. That makes me wonder about her accuracy when she claimed Denver was born on Dec 25 when everybody else thinks it's May 11. Thanks for Buck Owens, I can't believe I forgot that legend. And thanks for reminding me about Mel's second show. By the way, that was awesome trivia about James Best painting those. Here's one for you, which episode did Daisy get Dixie? I bet MinDuke won't need a clue for that one. Possum on a gumbush. I'm gone.
  2. Welcome to the Hazzardnet DaisyLynn. The best way of consoling yourself about the Dukes leaving TV is buying the DVDs. Then they'll always be on your TV....and you're right...it is the "best show" ever. Those people you're talking about probably never even saw it. I'm gone.
  3. Okay, now I'm embarressed. Thanks though for catching that. Once again, I have to be more careful with those clues. Thank goodness we have the DVDs to settle any arguement. By the way, you were right about Skunk Hollow. Here's some trivia that someone might help me with. I am making a list of all the country music stars that have appeared on the original series. I'm probably missing some. Can someone tell me if they have a complete list? Donna Fargo Brenda Lee Johnny Paycheck Mickey Gilley Oak Ridge Boys Loretta Lynn Tammy Wynette Hoyt Axton Dottie West Freddie Fender Roy Orbison Mel Tillis (didn't sing) Janie Fricke (didn't sing) Waylon Jennings (saved the best for last)
  4. I just watched the season 4 DVD in which the 3 Dukes review the episode "Double Dukes". When Tom made fun of Coy and Vance's acting abilities it made me wonder if there is something to him having hard feelings. Oh well, he's only human I guess.
  5. Woops, I goofed. The answer is Jude Emery but I messed up who said it. I remembered that it was a lawman and wasn't Rosco or Enos. It turns out that it was Grady Byrd. I usually double check my questions before I put them up but I guess I should be as careful about my (spontaneous) clues. Thanks for catching that....I'd sure like to see that database of yours. Did you ever see the hobby thread where I talk about the map I'm making? I'm gone.
  6. Instead of telling you which season, here's two other clues. 1) Cletus said it 2) It was an episode with a short blooper of Daisy talking without her mouth moving. Here's an another one. At what location did Enos first see a UFO?
  7. "Dream House"...Wow...I remember that. The only time I saw it, is when it originally aired. As I recall the house was made out of "Mississippi Lablolly Pine". Does that sound correct? Does anybody know if that's a real or ficticious type of tree? I'm a northerner but it sounds like it's probably real.
  8. MinDuke, you're right about Cletus's debut. You got me on the pool ball but for some reason I'm thinking it's green...(by the way, good job on the others MaryAnne). Which episode mentions that the Dukes are Methodist?
  9. Forgive my last post. You're right Tim. The key word in your response was "realistic". Judging from your past posts, I bet you'll agree with the following opinion. I prefer to have all the characters forever frozen in my heart just as they were in the early 80s. There, Waylon, Boss, Uncle Jesse and Flash will never change. Rosco and Lulu will never get old. Bo, Luke, Daisy and Enos will always be in their prime. This is a place that is a haven for me to go at a moment's notice whenever I'm not happy with all the ugliness in this mixed up world. No reunion show, modern movie or new series could ever improve upon the perfection of the original series. In order to have a reunion there has to be a departure. To me, nobody has ever left Hazzard County. I know I never will.
  10. Wow MinDuke, can anybody make you miss one? That's pretty impressive about the funeral home. After rereading your question, I realized you meant the sign in front of the courthouse. I remember it changing to from Axtell to Hogg but I can't remember when, do you know? Here's another one.... which episode introduced Cletus? (before he was a deputy). If anybody beats you to this answer it's probably because they logged on before you, not because you didn't know it. You're good. I'm gone.
  11. As Rosco would say..."Arrrreee you kidding me?" If Rosco was 48 early in the series (see trivia thread) that means that he was 50 later in the series and still looked good jumping stuff. Uncle Jesse could have jumped creeks any time he wanted to...he just didn't want to hurt Bo's ego...as Bo said in episode number one when asked about his ego.."I've been working on it for years".
  12. For those of you who missed the trivia thread with this answer, yes, the Hazzard Cab Company is correct but she also worked at the Hazzard County Gazzette. I'm gone.
  13. On the courthouse sign it lists Axtell Bail Bonds and Victor's Bail Bonds is a business on a side street not too far from the bank. Now here's a super tough one....which street is Hotchkiss Funeral Home located on?
  14. Remember when the General Lee was painted green in "Southern Comfurts"? That's how green with jealousy I am. On the other hand, I'm happy for you. Have a blast!!!
  15. I thought that Rosco looked a little older than 48 there....thanks for that tidbit Meadowmuffin. Here's another one....what is Jim Bronke's occupation? I don't think he was ever on the show but we sure saw his name a lot.
  16. Thanks Grandad. I wish I would have listened better when you were telling me all your old World War II stories. I may not have paid enough attention to those stories but for what it's worth, I paid a lot of attention to other things you taught me and there's a lot of you in me today. I miss you and Grandma and I love you both. Thanks to every one else who served their country with pride and dignity.
  17. Good job on the green General Lee answer MinDuke. How about this one...which episode mentioned that Rosco's age is 48?
  18. Correct. In back to back episodes in season 3 they had her at the Hazzard Gazzette, Cab Company and Post Office. Considering she had 3 jobs, it's amazing she still had enough energy to ride wheelies and flirt with Uncle Jesse. I wish he would have gone on at least one date with her. What would have looked more romantic...both of them in Hazzard Swamp on her dirt bike or both of them at a drive-in-movie on Maudeen the mule?...don't answer that, it's not really a trivia question...just a fun thought. How about this tough one, in which episode did they paint the General Lee green? Possum on a gumbush. I'm gone.
  19. That's a tough one. I had never really thought about. I guess I liked Coy a little better but it's close.
  20. She was a country music star. She wasn't a big name like Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette or Dolly Parton but she was big enough that most country fans knew her. By the way, her boyfriend in "Happy Birthday General Lee" was also in "The Great Hazzard Hijack" (season 3). He was a friend (and co-thief) of Luke's old Marine buddy.
  21. There are two answers but you are right about the Hazzard Cab Company. By the way, JulieDuke beat you to the correct answer in the "Ode to Mis Tizdale" thread. ...who can get the other? Incidently, the Cab Company was from season 3.."The Hack of Hazzard". I'm gone.
  22. Does anyone know what the official spelling of ole is (as in "good ole boys")? Is it 1) 'ole 2) 'ol 3) ol' 4) ole' or something different? Also, did we ever officially determine which one was really Denver's birthday, May 11 or Dec 25?
  23. Here's one that is on "Ode to Mis Tizdale" but since there are more viewers here, I'll repost it. In addition to the post office, which business in town does Mis Tizdale work at?
  24. Welcome to Hazzard County. I haven't been with the Hazzardnet that long myself (due to my computer illiteracy) but now that I'm here, I'll never leave. The people here are like a big happy family and we're glad to have a new member. I hope you love it as much as I do. Possum on a gumbush. I'm gone.
