The Official Dukes of Hazzard Trivia Thread
RogerDuke replied to Meadowmufn's topic in Dukes of Hazzard Trivia
You're right Lori and Julie, it was Hughie. Hmmm..did I forget any Hogg's on that one? Oh yea, Big Daddy...are there any more? Here's another multiple choice that may be a little tough. On "Duke of Duke" what was the occupation of the REAL Gaylord Duke? Remember, he was never on the show, Roger Blevin was the imposter pretending to be Gaylord. Was he a..... Doctor Lawyer Preacher Race car driver OR Judge -
I thought those might be a little tough but you got all 3 right Lori. Which of these were on the show? Bo Jackson or Eugene Jackson Mickey Gilley or Crystal Gayle Jackson Forest or Jackson Swamp
-
That was cool Lori. I wish the Dukes would have sang more often in the series. The times that they did were awesome. I would have loved to seen Luke sing "Cripple Creek" At least it's on the old soundtrack.

I'm much too manly to watch a show like that. I spend most of my evenings pumping iron, rebuilding engines, gutting deer and splitting firewood... But that Cheetah Girl has more moves than the General Lee twisting up Razorback Mountain with Rosco, Cletus AND Enos in hot pursuit....not that I saw it or anything, that's just what I heard.

Lori, Double X and Julie all got Mabel Wooster right. Here's another multiple choice that may make you think a little harder. In "Arrest Jesse Duke" Rosco was out of town. Who was temporary acting sheriff? Hughie Hogg Lulu Hogg Cletus Hogg Abraham Lincoln Hogg Jamie Hogg Big Dan Hogg Silas Hogg Dewey Hogg -
Double X is triple correct. Which of these were on the show? Lumber Lane or Foundry Road Bone Creek or Two Finger Lake Tucker County or Rapaho County

Right Lori... Here's a question from "People's Choice" Who did County Registrar Emery Potter marry at the end? Thelma Clair Rogers Mabel Wooster Widow Baxley OR Clara Coltrane -
You got 2 out of 3 right B.L. Roger Clemens was never on the Dukes. Which of these were on the show? Eveningside Drive or Morningside Drive Rhuebottom Canyon or Benedict Canyon Freddie Fender or Dolly Parton

You're right Julie and Double X, it was a '69 Charger. No other year Charger looked exactly like it. Here's one from "Hazzard Connection". How do you spell the name of the bad guy? Aggie Detwilder Aggee Dimweilder Augie Detweiller Augie Detwilder -
2 out of 3 ain't bad Double X. They actually had a Cowlick Creek on the show. Which of these were on the show? Roger Clemens or Clem Boswell Flat Bottom Road or Flat Iron Road Sheriff Floyd or Sheriff Fredrick
-
Well put, Garrett. Well put.

I like Hobie too...although I think I'd have Cooter check over any car that I was considering buying from him. I like all the old-timers that were on the show. One of my all time favorite episodes is "Return of the Ridge Raiders". I can see myself someday hanging out with a bunch of guys like that and fighting the system to make things better. I'm gone.

Well B.L. I checked back a ways and you had gotten 16 of your last 17 right before missing Miss Potsdale....keep up the good work and don't let Miss Potsdale get to you. It's not like she was a major character or anything. Which of these were on the show? Moses Baxley Farm or Moses Malone Farm Hazzard Gazzette or Hazzard Daily News Goat's Milk Creek or Cowlick Creek

You're right Lori. Here's a question from "Dukes meet Cale Yarborough" season 2 What was the year and model of the white car that Cale was using to test his new turbocharger at the Pawtucket Raceway? -
I agree Lori, I wish they would have featured every major holiday during the 7 years but the best we could do is those two. I'm just happy that they at least had a Christmas episode. A lot of things are shying away from Christmas in today's society because we've gotten too carried away with political correctness. They might take Christmas parties out of schools and nativity scenes off city hall lawns but they'll never take "The Great Santa Claus Chase" out of my DVD set.

You got that quick Lori. Who were the next two? You don't have to get them in the correct order. -

Here's one from "The Ghost of General Lee" Who was the first person to discover that Bo and Luke weren't really dead? (this doesn't include the mother and daughter who saw them naked because they didn't think that they were dead to begin with) -
You got all three right DaisyMae. You and B.L. and Lori sure are good at this thing. Which of these were on the show? Miss Potsdale or Miss Dalepot Wayridge Road or Ridgeway Road Rimfire Gulley or Surefire Gulley
-
This one is from "Dukes Meet Cale Yarborough" and gave me a big smile. Enos is such a likable, innocent good-hearted kid. When Rosco was reporting in at a roadblock on the CB he tried to sound sophisticated by saying "Roadblock number one is fine as wine" Enos responded by saying "Roadblock number 2 is good as buttermilk" (I'm smiling again just thinking about it)

With Halloween coming up, I guess this episode is the closest thing the Dukes have for a Halloween show. It's not in my top 10 either but it is a pretty fun episode to watch...(of course I say that about all the originals)

Here's the answer to my last question. MaryAnne is the prominent Hazzardnet citizen that has the avatar (Rosco wrecking patrol car) and the quote ("Well, I hit it, didn't I?") from that same scene in the episode "The Meeting" Actually since I'm not sure if the term "avatar" only applies to the smaller picture on top, I should clarify that I'm refering to the picture MaryAnne has on the bottom of her threads. -
You got all 3 right B.L. (as usual) Which of these were on the show? Petty Farm or Pettigrew Farm Indian Creek Road or Dixie Swamp Road (episode names) Double Duke Jeopardy or Witness for the Persecution
-
from the episode "Hazzard Connection" "There's places in this part of the South that's so peaceful and quiet that a man can almost sit and hear his hair grow. In case any of y'all gotta be told, this ain't one of them places."
-
Nice, DaisyMae, you got all 3 right. Which of these were on the show? Atkins Road or Watkins Road Hazzard Hog Auction or Hazzard Stockyards Boss A.C. Tate Jr or Boss T.C. Cate III
-
Hey brw9284, Welcome to the Hazzardnet, we hope you stay around for awhile. It's always nice to "meet" new friends. Morgan's right....That guy you're talking about is Jeb Stuart Duke. He's the Duke's cousin from Placid County.
