  1. Hey, here's an idea. After you find out tomorrow you can start a contest here on the HazzardNet to name the little tyke. Just kidding. Seriousely though. I'm happy for you. That's exciting news. Congratulations!!
  2. I sent it the request off to MaryAnne. I know it didn't matter to you but it did to me because you deserve it.

  3. Congratulations on your Fan of the Month award. When I typed the New Topic in, I didn't know your name wouldn't fit on there and I wanted it on the front page. Unfortunately, a New Topic headline isn't something I can edit but maybe I can get a moderator to do it. I'll ask if it can be shortened from Congratulations daisydukexenosstrait to Congrats daisyxenos. I think it will fit then.

  4. Congratulations to daisyxenos for being selected as the Fan of the Month for November 2009!! It's pretty impressive that someone can receive this honor after only being a member of the HazzardNet for 15 months but daisyxenos is an impressive fan. She's certainly put up some impressive numbers. At the time of the posting of this award, she has typed a HazzardNet record nearly 30,000 posts. Granted, not all of those posts have been in-depth essays but the numbers are staggering. Some days here on the HazzardNet are busier than others but one thing we can always count on is daisyxenos's consistency. Her dedication to this website is legendary and her love of The Dukes of Hazzard is indisputable. Daisyxenos is involved in dozens of threads on the HN. She has started numerous threads including "Beer for my Horses" and "Michael Knight meets the Dukes of Hazzard." She has been involved in many Round Robins and Role Plays with creative ideas and names including "Sweating for the County", "Dukes meet the Clampetts", "Watermellon Crawl" and "God is Great, Beer is Good, People are Crazy." You can find her posts just about anyplace here on the HN. Besides RRs and RPs, some of her other favorite places are Trivia, Duke or Dupe and Musical Chairs. In addition, she is involved in 21 HazzardNet social groups. Truly, this place is her second home. Daisyxenos hails from the country of Texas (Well, we might as well call it a country, it's so huge and the people there are proud and independent). She is a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorns and, like most Texans, loves country music. She certainly has been a welcome addition to the HazzardNet and we sure hope she stays around a long time. This place wouldn't be the same without her. We need more youngsters like her to keep the tradition of The Dukes of Hazzard alive forever and pass the torch on to future generations.
  5. Congratulations Min!!! If your little one is a boy and is born a day late you should name him Bo or John since April 8, 2010 is the day John Schneider turns the big 50. By the way, April is more than 4 months away. I wonder if you made a mistake on that last post and meant 6 months.
  6. Yep, you're right daisyxenos. The tea is made from the root of the sassafras tree. They grow in the eastern United States with the exception of south Florida, Maine and northern New York. From "To Catch a Duke" where do Rosco's Aunt Emma and Uncle Wilbur Live? A) Chickasaw Nashville C) Old Mill Road in Hazzard County
  7. Congratulations to the winners!! Happy Halloween everybody.
  8. It's been a few days so here's a clue to that last one. It's a season 6 episode and Daisy is accused of stealing money. In reality, Three-Pack snuck in the Boar's Nest through a vent and took it. He's pretty small so it wasn't too tough for him to do.
  9. Hi B.L. I'm getting ready to log out but seen that you're logged in so I thought I'd stop by to say hi first. I hope you had a good day.

  10. Just thought I'd put this post back up on the front page to make it more visible. Review last year's post here for a list of scary Halloween Dukes episodes. Well, maybe they're not too scary but at least you won't have nightmares after watching them. Happy Halloween everybody!!!
  11. B.L., doublex and daisyxenos got 2 out of three right. The Julius Berg Company is in town and can be seen in the first season (after the Georgia episodes) between the movie theater and furniture store. There is a dry cleaners in town. Mrs Walker works there but they didn't say if she was the owner. Which of these were on the show? Buster Lawrence's Ice Cream Shop or Andy Tibble's TV Shop Corncob Creek or Campfire Ridge (episode names) Baa Baa White Sheep or Baa Baa Black Sheep
  12. You kids quit yer fightin' and git out there and finish them chores. We got a farm and a trivia forum to run here and we ain't got time fer all this bickerin'.
  13. Most of us rednecks missed that extra General Lee because we were too busy looking at that cool tractor driving through town. I bet the makers of TV shows back then never imagined a DVD player with a pause button. LOL Hey JDhoggjr, we have at least two bloopers threads here on the HazardNet. I'm not sure where they're at but they couldn't be too hard to find if you like that sort of thing.
  14. You're right in the neighborhood daisyxenos. His title was "Comissioner of Records" What kind of tea did Jesse serve on "Duke of Duke"? A) Sassafras Chai C) Ginger
  15. Khee Khee, I love it. I love it. If I ever have to drive through the town where that young feller is sheriff, I'm going to make sure I obey the law. He looks more intimidating than Big Ed Little!! Thanks for sharing this photo TomBo.
  16. Hi Pendragon. It's almost midnight on Sunday night and I see you're logged on so I thought I'd say hi. Hey, I was down in your neighborhood last weekend. I've been a Steelers fan my whole life (since before they won their first Super Bowl) but had never been to a game before last weekend. We used to go to a lot of Pirate games though. By the way, I'm from Erie County.

  18. Welcome to Hazzard County tjdukes01. We hope you stay a long time. If you like the Dukes, you'll love it here. Buckle up for safety 'cause we drive fast here occasionally. YEEEEHHHAAAWWW!!!!!!!!
  19. Hey JDhoggjr, what's the IMBD? I was so frustrated a couple weeks ago because Dennis Haskins made an appearence at a college near me and I didn't even know about it until after the fact. To make matters worse, I was only a few hundred feet from him and didn't even know he was there. You're right. He was in a lot more than 3 episodes. The only ones I know of on the top of my head are "One Armed Bandits" where he played the redneck in the Boar's Nest who was messing with Daisy and "Undercover Dukes" where he dressed a little more sophisticated because he worked for the mob boss, J.J. Carver. I would guess he was in 6 episodes but since you can only list 4 we may never know anytime soon.

  21. Move It On Over (Hank Williams Sr)
  22. daisyxenos, Denver C, doubleX and texasdaisy09 all got it right. Madam Delilah and Three-Pack trick Lulu for her wall safe combination.

  24. I went back and read all the posts on this thread and it made my day. I hope everybody here takes the time to check it out. From one western Pennsylvanian to another, let me say, you are my hero Pendragon. I'll be smiling for a long time thinking about your story!!!!!! It's like 'ol Waylon says "In Hazzard, we tend to like happy endings."
  25. You won't be getting any hate mail from me for that post...LOL
