  1. On a Snowy Christmas Night (Elvis)
  2. *lifts top off metal barrel that has chicken feed in it* Ya won't be needin' that there pounder. It's just some barbed wires. It ain't no big job...and while yer back on their north 40, check around for some Christmas trees so ya can go back later this month and cut down the best one. The way things is a going, Danny ain't going to be out by then to do it. *pauses and looks down at the ground* I just pray he'll be out for the Christmas after this one. Boss sure has him framed good.
  3. "The groceries and fruit basket?" *notices Luke still looks confused* *voice angry* "I swear if that boy would stop fer just one second and take a little break from women and NASCAR he might amount to something. Besides, it's December, NASCAR season's over. Ya think he'd be listenin' better. He was supposed to tell you that you boys need to head on over to Willow Swamp and take some vittles over to Roxanne Miller and her two kids and spend a little time fixing that fence on their north property line. Ever since Boss put her husband Danny in jail on that trumped up charge, she ain't been doing so good. Old Boss is going to do every thing he can to git his hands on that farm since he found out how much natural gas them geologists said might be on it."
  4. Jesse walks in and notices Luke and seems surprised. "Are you and Bo back already?" *pauses after seeing confused look on Lukes face* "Let me guess, Bo didn't tell you did he?"
  5. There's Good Rockin' Tonight (Elvis)
  6. DoubleX, daisyxenos, texasdaisy09 and Denver C all got it right. Hey Denver, you're the only one who doesn't have an x in your name. In this season 7 episode, two guys break out of prison and one of them has a pet cricket.
  7. I guess if it was moved to 8:00 that would be 6:00 for you folks in Texas right? Would that be too early? Of course, if we started at 6 (Texas time) you could always show up a little late if you're still eating supper or something. Any thoughts?

    Is it just me?

Well texasdaisy09, it sounds like you answered your own question. He does see the whole picture much better than any of us. As far as you not having much patience, I could help you with that but I really don't have the patience to explain it right now. Your post reminded me of my all time favorite quote from the show. It's from Uncle Jesse's old girlfriend Lucinda Meadows from the episode "The Legacy" "Well, I put myself in the hands of the Lord and He put me in the hands of the Dukes and I reckon you can't get a better combination than that."
  10. Would 9:00 EST be too late for you Bo considering the time difference? I'm good with that date and time.
  11. This feller should work for the government. Cash for General Lees is a much better idea than cash for clunkers.
  12. How about a Hazzard County Christmas party this year? We have a couple weeks to nail down a date and time for us to all get together in the chat room and talk about Christmas and drink some egg nog. Does anybody want to be the first to propose a date and time to chat?

    Is it just me?

Hey daisyxenos, I don't know too much about Google but is it possible to find out on that? (That might be a dumb question but I'm not real good with that sort of thing)

  15. It's nice to see that I'm not the only one in the Christmas spirit.

    Is it just me?

I just checked the ABC Family Channel all the way until the end of the day Wednesday and there's no sign of it. Of course, there's a chance some other channel could carry it so we'll have to keep our eyes open.

Thanks Garrett *smiles* I really appreciate your thoughtful post. I saw "Christmas Comes to Willow Creek" a long time ago. I hope ABC Family or somebody runs it sometime this month. If anybody sees it coming up please post it. It really is good. Hopefully you'll get a chance to see it.
  19. Hey Garrett, they had a story on the local TV weather that a relatively cool summer like we had often means that we WON'T get a lot of snow. So far, they're right. I really don't mind the snow but the only thing I worry about is people (especially my loved ones) getting hurt in car wrecks. My relatives are all safe drivers but it's the other feller that I worry about. At least my kids are all older now. I really worried when they were young drivers.
  20. Sorry but Cale drove the number 28 car. Pick the TWO things that went wrong with the General Lee on "Danger on the Hazzard Express" A) it got stolen the carbeurator float valve went bad C) it got painted green D) it got wired up with a remote control E) it lost the Hazzard Derby F) Dodge recalled it

    Is it just me?

I'm guessing that I'm the only person on the HazzardNet who feels this way but I thought I'd throw these comments out there anyways just so the few new folks out there who didn't know I'm crazy know it now. Recently I was chatting with someone and the subject of "Christmas Comes To Willow Creek" came up. I know I should like the stuff that the Dukes stars did after Dukes was done filming but I don't as much as I should. Well, I kinda do......but I don't love it a lot. I know I should and I really want to support the stars of the show but I can't seem to see past Hazzard County. Words can't describe how appreciative I am of the actors and of everyone involved in making the show (especially Gy Waldron) but I have just never been able to get into any post-Dukes stuff. I love the real actors who played on the show but I love the characters much more. To me, Tom Wopat is not real. Luke is. John Schneider is just some fellow who played Superman's dad. Bo Duke is still in his twenties chasing girls and running from the law in Hazzard....and he always will be. I can't accept anything else and nobody can make me. I couldn't even accept the reunion movies. All three Dukes would have never left Jesse at the same time. Besides God and family, The Dukes of Hazzard has been the single most important thing that has influenced my life. Part of me realizes that it was just a show. A bigger part of me realizes that it's NOT just a show and that second part overwhelmes the first part so much, I just cannot accept the fact that Hazzard County isn't real...and I won't. Maybe I'm cracking up but I don't care. I still buy stuff put out by the Dukes stars like Tom and John's music, Ben Jones' and James Best's book etc., and I recommend every Dukes fan does because it's good stuff but I just can't accept the fact that they were only actors. I guess there's a big DISadvantage to being such a die-hard fan and living in such a fantasy world. But there's a big advantage too. In my world, Jesse and Boss are still around...and Waylon's still talking about 'em.
  24. Here it is December 5 on the southern shore of Lake Erie between Cleveland and Buffalo and we just had our first snowfall. Normally by now, we'd have two feet of the white stuff, although much of that would have melted. However, our first snow came today at 4pm (EST). I saw in the newspaper that Houston got snow on Friday. I saw on the national news that Georgia, Alabama and other states in the south got snow Friday also. If not Friday, then Saturday morning. Think about that. How often is it that the Deep South of Dixie gets snow BEFORE parts of the Great Lakes? Has that ever happened before? I don't know about you folks but I find this absolutely amazing.
