*Jesse and Ira watch Bo and Conner interact while Luke and Daisy sit down on a bench surrounded by curious kids full of questions* Ira turned to Jesse "Well old friend, from what I know about your nephew's outgowing personality, he might be just the person who can get through. I'm going to be careful to not get my hopes up though. Conner has been one of the sadest cases I've seen in my 35 years working here. Most kids his age have started to show a hint of hope by this time, but he hasn't made even an inch of progress since he's gotten here. In fact, he's gone backwards. I'm really worried." Jesse paused "I wonder if he can sing?"

90 days and counting! It looks like Garrett will be watching lots of Dukes episodes between now and then....especially the NASCAR themed episodes.

Great point Brian. What do you think we should do to show our appreciation? It would be nice if you could start a "Thank Warner Brothers and CMT" thread with links and info on how to show them how grateful we are. I'm not sure which one of those two groups deserves the most thanks but I'm sure appreciative to both of them. In the spirit of the Thanksgiving season, they've sure made us happy.

*While two of the Dukes stood around the group of kids talking and laughing and another Duke walked toward Connor, the eldest Duke took Ira Grant off to the side over by a tall blue spruce that was adorned with Christmas decorations* Jesse looked concerned "I hate to tell ya this Ira but the crops didn't do too good this year so I can't give ya any money like I did last year. I just ain't got any. But I can give ya time if ya'd like. Ya ain't looking for a Christmas concert director are ya?" Ira excitedly responded "Why we sure are Jesse....and I'll take ya up on yer offer. Ya can start right now if you'd like." They both smiled and shook on it. Jesse noticed Ira looking at Conner. "Jesse, that's the kid I was telling ya about. Maybe your family can help out. Lord knows we've done everything we can." Jesse saw one of the younger Dukes walking toward Conner. "It looks like one of my kids has just that thought in mind."

Congratulations Jimmie!! I suppose the conspiracy theory that JJ was just taking it easy before the Chase just to make things interesting is going to get even bigger now. Personally I don't believe in that theory but I can see how it got started. I felt bad for your man Jeff Gordon. It seemed weird to see him being interviewed before the race was over. Oh well, at least it was because of a blown engine and not a crash. I know what you mean about those numbers Garrett. I think I was more focused on the updated numbers than the cars. Did you hear Carl saying that he hurt his ankle on the flip? Good thing he has some time off. His injury gave him the opportunity to put a free advertisement up there for his insurance company. The 5 consecutive championship list that ESPN posted was pretty impressive. Anytime you get compared to the Celtics and Yankees you know you've accomplished something! Thanks again for all your thoughts, posts and analysis Garrett. You sure know your NASCAR! 91 more days!

The picture that you just posted of him on his Yamaha was in a British Annual. I had him autograph it for me and he laughed because he hadn't seen that picture for awhile. Since I also own a Yamaha, I just love that autograph!

Word on the street is that Brian's painting the Impala orange and having a load of manure dumped on the top of his septic tank. He's going to use the manure as a ramp to try and jump over the transmission from the Gremlin that's been laying in his front yard for 30 years.

Here's my predictions for Sunday's race. Johnson 2 Gordon 4 Harvick 5 Hamlin not in the top 10 translation: JJ wins his fifth in a row. I don't know who will win the race but I just have a feeling it will be won by someone unexpected.

Hmmm, it sounds like the 2011 DukesFest and BBQ is going to be at Brian's house.

*This time Jesse didn't refuse Bo and Luke's help exiting the General. He knew it would be embarressing if the kids saw him getting out of the car with Bo and Luke helping but he also knew it would be even more embarressing if he struggled and fell out* Daisy teased him a little "Uncle Jesse I'm surprised you asked for help" Jesse pretended to be mad at her "I didn't ask. These two just grabbed my armpits before I knew what was happenin'. I could have made it out myself but it's important that the kids see folks helping folks.....even if I didn't need it." Ira Grant, the orphanage director walked over to the Dukes with several curious kids following. He was careful to refer to his old friend Jesse by using his proper name when the kids were around. "My old friend Mr Duke!! It's so good to see you and your wonderful family. How have you been, sir?" Jesse and his old friend hugged "Fine..just fine Mr. Grant!...and look at all these beautiful children. You have the best job in the world....hanging around all day with such good looking and smart kids. You're certainly a lucky man Mr Grant." Ira respoded "Yes I certainly am!" He then turned to the kids who had all gathered around by now. "Children I'd like you to meet a very good friend of mine. We grew up together and have known each other for a very very VERY long time. And these here are Mr Duke's nephews and neice, Luke, Bo and Daisy. Let's make them feel right at home." The children then flocked to the three younger Dukes....well, almost all the children. There was one exception.

Very nice! I love all the attention to details...right down to the bolt heads on the hood hinges. It's great that you got the correct license plate number too.... but then again we expect perfection from a perfect Dukes fan like you!

Talk General Lees? I'm too speechless to talk after seeing that picture. They're definitely works of art!

Thanks Daney! Unless there's a blizzard I'll be there! waikiki, Canton Ohio is the home of the pro football hall of fame and is located south of Cleveland....maybe 30 miles or so.....on second thought I think it's more than 30 miles.

Thanks Daisy. John looks great for a 50 year old so I bet those desperate housewives will fall all over him. But if he gets too naughty, I'm switching the channel back to the CMT version of him....LOL
