  1. Welcome to Hazzard County MT83!!!! So, did you end up finding the game? I sure hope so.

  5. Garrett, Are you sure it was just cardboard? Did you go up to it and touch it? Maybe it was really Jeff. If it is just cardboard maybe you should head down there and ask them if you can have it whenever they're done with it. A lot of times things like that just get thrown out. Don't get your hopes up. Somebody else has probably already got dibs on it. I wonder if those good folks at Wal-Mart know that Kurt Busch won the race and not Jeff Gordon. I think I'm filing a complaint.
  6. John playing a Vietnam vet?! Wow, that's quite a stretch. John turned 50 in April (7 days before I did) so he graduated from high school in 1978. While the war officially ended in 1975 it had been a few years prior to 1975 that American troops were there. The youngest (combat) VietNam vet I know is currently around 60 years old. (Please feel free to correct me if anybody knows one younger). If John looked OLDER than his age he might be able to pull off the role of a VietNam vet but since he looks YOUNGER than he really is, casting him as the part sure seems like a stretch to me. Was he made up to look older? It was kinda hard to tell just by this one picture but he sure doesn't look 60. Of course if it was from 2007 he was 47. Sorry for being critical of the casting. I bet it was a great show. Anything John does is awesome. I bet that playing a VietNam vet made him feel old!
  7. I just got done watching "Follow That Still." I love the part where Luke is driving the APC down Seminole Hill and Rosco has his patrol car parked between two boulders to stop it. When the brakes of the APC give out and it crushes the patrol car, I crack up every time I see Rosco's reaction. When Rosco pops up from behind one of the boulders he looks like a gopher popping up out of his hole with his eyes bugged out! LOL Since he did say "Screeeee!" I guess that officially qualifies this to fit in the favorite quotes thread.
  8. We have a dog named Daisy.... an outside wild cat named Flash.... another dog (may he RIP) named Bo.... and (saved the best for last) a grandson named Luke who was born on Waylon's birthday.
  9. Shucks....my streak is going to end because I don't have a clue. Try these lottery numbers 1 8 9 22 26 31

  11. I'm sure impressed by you folks. I only had one channel growing up so I missed a lot of shows. It was an NBC affiliate. I had to go to my grandparents house every Friday to watch Dukes. I doubt I'll be able to get any of these but I'm enjoying being a spectator on this thread!
  12. I just got done watching "Duke of Duke". At the beginning of the episode Bo decides to race the new feller in town. That new feller is an imposter named Roger Blevins pretending to be Duke Gaylord Duke. (just my luck, the only Roger to ever be on the show is a bad guy) Anyway, Bo was shocked when Roger's little imported car pulled away from the General like it was standing still. Bo's reaction was "I sure hope we don't run into him at the race Sunday." Luke responded "Ya can't hardy run into what ya can't catch." LOL Of course at the end of the episode when Daisy was driving the General Lee she easily caught that little car. Either Roger was having car trouble or Daisy's a better driver than her cousin!

  15. Wow, Daisy agrees with me on something. It's like they say, there's a first time for everything!

  17. I'm happy for you Garrett. I know your life is much more enjoyable now that NASCAR is back. GO KURT BUSCH!!!!!
  18. I think it's Tulsa. That's the episode where Daisy's car went off Kissing Cliff and CJ Holmes bought her Dixie. Now that I think of it, what model is Daisy's Jeep? I'm wondering if CJ bought her a CJ. I know it's a Golden Eagle but that could be a version of the CJ.
  19. giant (Jack and the beanstalk.....Rosco loves that book)
  20. The Budweiser Shootout just ended 5 minutes ago. Wow! What a race! My man Kurt Busch is off to a great start this year. This was his first career win with a restricter plate. The ending was unbelievable......photo finish! I can't wait to hear your review Garrett. Jimmie who?
  21. Nice work as always Hoss! I never noticed that "Cadillac" was covered up. I'm going to be looking for the tape now. Ya learn somethin' every day!
  22. Awww, I'm so sorry to hear that Jami. I'm glad you're back but your sad news puts a damper on your return. For what it's worth, I know how you feel. My best friend (who was also my cousin) was killed when I was 19. That was over 30 years ago but I still miss him. I drive by his house every day and think of him every day. I never got over it but I've learned to live with it in time. By your post I couldn't tell if your friend died or just left your life for some other reason. It really doesn't matter because the emotions are very similiar either way. The healing process is similiar too. Either way, there's only one thing that ever heals.....time. You can do things to ease the pain in the short term but in the long term, time will be your cure....even though it might not seem like it now. The folks here might only be computer friends but we really are a family of sorts too and we care about you. Please take one day at a time and surround yourself with positive things.
  23. Welcome to Hazzard County Chris. It's awesome that you have a blog about Dukes. Here's something to consider. Scroll down to "Episodes" and click on "Episode Review". It would be fun if you REVIVED the episode review thread by reviewing your five favorite episodes down there. Don't stop with five. Review all the episodes. I'd love to hear your opinions about each ep and I'll respond to them with my 2 cents. I sure hope you'll consider it. It sounds like fun. Maybe we can get other folks to give us their opinions too! Once again, welcome. You sure belong here!
  24. coffee (You have a good memory Hoss...LOL)
  25. Hmmm, I'm a little slow at times so I'm not sure how to play. Loretta Lynn stared in a Dukes episode and her maiden name was Webb. (I'm guessing that's not the answer you're looking for...LOL)
