I know what you mean. There's just something special about old muscle cars. Not only is the General Lee the most famous muscle car in history, it's the most famous car in history...period.
Garrett, I saw that advertisement during the football game and thought of the biggest NASCAR fan I know-YOU. I was just commenting not long ago that Tony's temper had settled down. I know from experience that happens when you get older. I hope you're right and it was self defense. I'm dropping Jimmie Johnson as my favorite driver and going with Kurt Busch this year. I wasn't really loyal to Jimmie anyway but I am loyal to the Dukes and Kurt is the biggest Dukes fan out there amongst the NASCAR drivers. (Well, actually I'm not sure but I suspect he is, so until I hear otherwise, KB is my fave)
Just a warning to Garrett and all you Bears fans out there.... I was hoping for a Steelers-Falcons Super Bowl and the Falcons lost. Then I was hoping for a Steelers-Seahawks Super Bowl and the Seahawks lost. I'm now hoping for a Steelers-Bears Super Bowl...... Does anybody see a trend here? The Bears are doomed against the Packers. I have officially jinxed them.
Welcome to Hazzard County Charger! So, is the General Lee your favorite character? How long have you been a fan? We hope to like this place enough to stay a long time!
I noticed later in this thread it was pointed out that the gas cap was missing. I just got done watching "Deputy Dukes". Not only is the gas cap missing, after that episode it doesn't have a driver's side door either. It was busted off during the chase in Springville where the Dukes were running from Rocky Marlow's henchmen. I jut love this truck. Thanks for telling us the year it was made Hoss. Those older vehicles are tough to tell.
That's a good one Garrett. I'm not sure if you know this or not but since I was around a couple decades before the Dukes came out, I'll let you in on a little secret. Although many of Waylon's great lines were written by him personally, that one was around before the show came out. It's not used as much now but was pretty popular when I was a kid growing up in the 60s.
I wouldn't blame other folks for wanting to play again but after the way Rosco dominated this time I see no reason he wouldn't dominate again. It was fun though because nobody knew Rosco would win this time.....just like nobody knew Jesse would win the first one. I think a third one would be a predictable Rosco win. .....however.....if I wasn't playing and supporting Jesse the whole flow of the game would change and the outcome could be different so a Dukes Game III is something somebody might want to consider. I'd just be a spectator though. Congratulations Rosco on a job well done.....Khee Khee!!!
Congratulations on 1000 posts Hoss. I just went back and reviewed all of them. I only understood 3 of them. The other 997 made absolutely no sense at all.
(LOL) (sorry buddy, I couldn't resist)
(By the way, that mushroom joke on "word association" was very clever)
I'm not going to get my Steelers-Falcons Super Bowl match up. Now I'm hoping for a Steelers-Seahawks match up. It was no surprise that the Steelers-Ravens game was close but I was shocked the Packers beat the Falcons up so bad...ouch. I feel bad for all the good folks of north Georgia.
Jesse 3 Rosco 47 MM, yes but this is Hazzard County. The Dukes are always supposed to win. waikiki, if there is a Dukes Game III I don't plan on playing.
Jesse 5 Rosco 45 Poor 'ol Jesse. He came back to win it last time when he just had two points left but it doesn't look like there's a chance of that this time.
