  1. I don't have a clue. Speaking of unusual songs, go down to the James Best forum to read about Rosco being mentioned in one.
  2. I don't really know anything about music except older country but today I just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and had to listen to some kind of rap-hip-hop type music. I don't really know any of those singers but my jaw dropped at what I heard. The song mentioned Rosco P Coltrane! I had the person replay it because I thought I was hearing things but sure enough, our favorite sheriff was mentioned. The CD was MTV party mix.....volume 4. The song was "they want efx" The artist was dar efx. dar efx is now officially my favorite hip hop artist. I'm not burning any of my Waylon CDs though.
  3. So, if this thing ever ends.....does anybody want to start again?
  4. Thanks Brian! It's a good thing you have access to the internet in prison. Having the opportunity to put your computer skills to work while being incarcerated is certainly something to be thankful for.
  5. Great picture Tim! Imagine Rosco's reaction if he had that many General Lees to chase. It would drive him crazy. After all, three Generals on "Dukes Meet Cale Yarborough" was more than the Hazzard law could handle. What am I saying? Rosco can't even catch one.....well, maybe on a really good day.
  6. They all drove RVs. Hey Hoss, we even had a big parade to celebrate your birthday. I looked for the float that looked like you but didn't see it. The announcer on TV said it was last seen flying over a creek with a bridge that was out. It was heading towards north Georgia. Happy birthday!!!!
  7. *A few minutes into Daisy's Christmas story, Jesse notices one of the orphans look over toward Bo, Luke and Conner while the three of them walk toward a storage shed. Fortunately the General Lee was parked behind the shed out of view from Daisy and her audience. If the General weren't hidden Jesse knew a serious problem could be ahead of them. The kid who looked over at the trio prompted another child to be distracted and then a third. Jesse knew a chain reaction was about to occur and he had to act fast or the whole group would be ignoring Daisy and focusing on why Conner was walking behind the shed with Bo and Luke. Raising three kids himself, Jesse knew all too well how distracted and curious they could be.* "HO HO HO!" bellowed Jesse in his deep voice. *Confused, Daisy stopped her story and looked at her uncle.* "Oh, I'm very sorry Miss Duke. I thought that this was the part of your story where I was supposed to pretend that Santa Claus was around the corner." *Daisy was confused but assumed that Jesse had alterior motives. She briefly glanced over at the trio rounding the corner out of sight and realized what those motives were. Jesse and Ira smiled at each other, noticing that Daisy's audience was completely focused back on her. Ira and Jesse were relieved that Bo, Luke and Conner were out of sight so they could have some privacy to try to make some progress with the troubled boy.*
  8. Happy birthday Hoss. You're a great addition to our family and we hope you stay here forever!

  9. Excuse me but I'd like to interrupt with a different trivia question. Which member of HazzardNet has a birthday on Thanksgiving Thursday? (Nov 25) Hint: I'm guessing they don't celebrate Thanksgiving in Ireland but we're thankful for him anyways.
  10. Welcome to the HazzardNet!!!

  11. hero (that's what the folks who work in hospitals and save lives are)
  12. Happy Thanksgiving everybody. You folks here are one of the many blessings God has given me and I'm very thankful for you.
  13. *Jesse and Ira watch Bo and Conner interact while Luke and Daisy sit down on a bench surrounded by curious kids full of questions* Ira turned to Jesse "Well old friend, from what I know about your nephew's outgowing personality, he might be just the person who can get through. I'm going to be careful to not get my hopes up though. Conner has been one of the sadest cases I've seen in my 35 years working here. Most kids his age have started to show a hint of hope by this time, but he hasn't made even an inch of progress since he's gotten here. In fact, he's gone backwards. I'm really worried." Jesse paused "I wonder if he can sing?"
  14. 90 days and counting! It looks like Garrett will be watching lots of Dukes episodes between now and then....especially the NASCAR themed episodes.
  15. Great point Brian. What do you think we should do to show our appreciation? It would be nice if you could start a "Thank Warner Brothers and CMT" thread with links and info on how to show them how grateful we are. I'm not sure which one of those two groups deserves the most thanks but I'm sure appreciative to both of them. In the spirit of the Thanksgiving season, they've sure made us happy.
  16. *While two of the Dukes stood around the group of kids talking and laughing and another Duke walked toward Connor, the eldest Duke took Ira Grant off to the side over by a tall blue spruce that was adorned with Christmas decorations* Jesse looked concerned "I hate to tell ya this Ira but the crops didn't do too good this year so I can't give ya any money like I did last year. I just ain't got any. But I can give ya time if ya'd like. Ya ain't looking for a Christmas concert director are ya?" Ira excitedly responded "Why we sure are Jesse....and I'll take ya up on yer offer. Ya can start right now if you'd like." They both smiled and shook on it. Jesse noticed Ira looking at Conner. "Jesse, that's the kid I was telling ya about. Maybe your family can help out. Lord knows we've done everything we can." Jesse saw one of the younger Dukes walking toward Conner. "It looks like one of my kids has just that thought in mind."
  17. Congratulations Jimmie!! I suppose the conspiracy theory that JJ was just taking it easy before the Chase just to make things interesting is going to get even bigger now. Personally I don't believe in that theory but I can see how it got started. I felt bad for your man Jeff Gordon. It seemed weird to see him being interviewed before the race was over. Oh well, at least it was because of a blown engine and not a crash. I know what you mean about those numbers Garrett. I think I was more focused on the updated numbers than the cars. Did you hear Carl saying that he hurt his ankle on the flip? Good thing he has some time off. His injury gave him the opportunity to put a free advertisement up there for his insurance company. The 5 consecutive championship list that ESPN posted was pretty impressive. Anytime you get compared to the Celtics and Yankees you know you've accomplished something! Thanks again for all your thoughts, posts and analysis Garrett. You sure know your NASCAR! 91 more days!
