  1. LOL That's funny. You'll just have to tell her the best you can do is jump for joy when it's all done.

  4. Uh oh, I could be in trouble. MaryAnne's not usually wrong. Still, I have to stick with tan because I have my pride.

  6. Sorry to hear you didn't get it back. I know how you feel about being frustrated because I went through something similiar. Taking the law into your own hands will just get yourself in jail. Put a little polite friendly pressure on the cops but don't get too vocal or they won't help at all. Please be patient. Often there's a good reason these things take time.

  7. I'd feel the same way but if you take the law into your own hands you'll end up in jail. I know from personal experience as a victim that justice works slower than we'd like. Be patient. Put a little friendly pressure on them but don't be too forceful or they won't help at all.

  8. Did you ever get your bike back?

  9. As the crop duster was flying in a zig-zag pattern above Hazzard County Rosco yelled into the CB radio so he could be heard above the engine noise. "Enos, what's yer 20 you dipstick?" "Uh, right here at the crossroads of Turtle Creek Road and Highway 128, right where you told me to be sheriff." "Khee Khee. That's great. You're right smack dab in the middle of the county. Now I got Wilbur Fudge, Zack Wheatly and Homer Sneed on standby in case we need 'em. As soon as I get a visual on those Duke boys and that desperate and dangerous fugitive Jeff Gordon, I'm gonna call you boys and have you cuff and stuff all three of 'em." Enos was troubled. "Gosh sheriff I can't hardly believe Mr Gordon is dangerous. I see him on TV all the time being interviewed after a race and he sure enough seems like a pretty nice feller to me." Rosco was expectedly irritated. "Enos, you've been smelling too many exhaust fumes. I'm telling you he's dangerous and he's a menace to society. Now if he tried to kill a lawman imagine what he'd do to a civilian. Now you just hush and keep the line of communications open. Now Hush. Don't even respond. Just hush!" "Okay sheriff. I promise I won't respond. I'm hushing." "Enos you just responded you idiot. Now don't do it again." "Okay sheriff I won't. " "ENOS!!!" "Woops sorry sheriff. I'm hushing now. I promise."
  10. LOL Good thing it came back or Boss would have accused Jesse of taking it. I also see that above the blue and white advertisement on the left side of the window another (dimmer) advertisement is missing.
  11. Wow I'm impressed!! Nice work Hoss!
  12. OFF Thanks Hoss. I also have a fear of tall buildings. I don't mind being on top of them, it's being below them that makes me uncomfortable. It must be similiar to my fear of caves because I just don't like heavy stuff above me. Other than that, I'm fine with heights, spiders, snakes, germs and all those other fears. Oh yes, I do have one other fear....missing two of Hoss's trivia questions in a row.
  13. I see I mispelled my answer. It should have been spelled Yellow Pine Lumber Company. I guess I was right all along. Hey Hoss, isn't YPLC the one that provided the three pick up trucks on the "Great Santa Claus Chase?"
  14. Hey Hoss, on the picture you posted from "Enos Strate to the Top" the second possiblity you listed for the airport was Bob Hope. Is that in Palm Springs?
  15. In addition to my other posts I cried during the reunion show when Rosco was doing his emotional tribute to Boss. That's one of the reasons I'll never watch it again. Boss is still alive to me and I'll never accept it any other way. Also, seeing Denver Pyle looking so sick in the reunion show was just as sad. The writers of the reunion show being dumb enough to have all three Dukes gone and not helping their uncle was nearly enough to make me cry. I gaurantee none of the writers of the reunion show were actually fans of the show. If they were thay never would have done that. Oh well, just another reason to not ever watch that again. And, the General Lee lost inside a chicken coop? Not enough to shed a tear over but it's a third reason to avoid it. If the writers would have had at least one of the younger Dukes make a commitment to stay with their uncle at the end of the show it might have made things go down easier but they didn't....reason number 4.....sorry, I'm starting to get off the subject.
  16. cave (I'm not sure why but I have a fear of caves)

  19. The writing was just as good even though Coy and Vance weren't as good of actors but I'll give them credit. They did a great job under the circumstances. Also, season 5 brought us great episodes like Lawman of the Year, Enos in Trouble, A Little Game of Pool, Welcome Back Bo 'n Luke and Daisy's Shotgun Wedding. Besides, if season 5 wouldn't have happened, the whole show might have been canceled and then we wouldn't have 6 and 7.
  20. Very impressive Hoss! I remembered the last name but not the first. What a coincidence! Or is it? It makes me wonder who the writers were.
  21. Business Week magazine recently did a story titled "The South is Spreading" on page 88 of their 4/25-5/1 issue. Apparently American southern culture is the latest global craze. Music, fashion, entertainment and food from dixie are speading like wildfire around the globe. For example, the Bellamy Brothers were recently "treated like Elvis" in places like Sri Lanka and South Africa. They gave a few reasons for the phenomenon but the one I liked most is the fact that the world has gotten crazy and folks around the world are looking for a simpler, relaxing and fun way of living. Apparently they've discovered it in Dixie and all I can say is...maybe there's hope for this old world yet. I wonder if this means that the Dukes of Hazzard are about to see a global surge. We've certainly been lucky enough to have fans from around the world here on the HazzardNet. Maybe we'll be seeing a lot more of them if lots of new fans discover our favorite old show. (although DOH still feels new to me) Hey, here's an idea, Warner Brothers could do a Dukes cartoon where they ride the General Lee around the globe promoting a Dixie lifestyle. Woops, never mind. It's already been done.
