It looks like nobody else is interested. You need a minimum number of players to form a league in yahoo. I think it's 6 but it might be 8. I guess it's not looking good. You might end up having to join a public leauge. I didn't really enjoy fantasy football because I hated watching Steeler games when their opponents had players on my fantasy teams. That doesn't bother me as much in other sports but in football there's only 16 games so the intensity level of each game is higher. Are you going to join the hockey league again?

I must be getting old. There's two beautiful women in that picture and all I can focus on is those pennants. I'd love to have those for momentos (the pennants that is) but I bet they were thrown out many years ago. (I'm not really getting old. I'm just happily married...LOL)

What all Pirate fans were fearing seems to be unfolding. Our boys are having an August slump. We're up against the Cardinals this weekend in the battle for second place. If we get swept I'm going to think we're out of momentum and won't make the playoffs. We should end the season with a winning record. If not it will make 20 years in a row of a losing record which will extend the worst losing streak in all of American big league sports.

Trust me on this one. It was dull. You stood on your feet all day and all week doing the same thing. Even though it was boring it paid well....10 cents a muskrat. As long as your knife wasn't dull and you were willing to work fast you could make out pretty well It's how I bought my first car. Keep us posted on how it's going K-Duke

I didn't think they could pull it off but the new Dallas exceeded all my expectations. I'm only sorry it's over for now. I don't think the new episodes come out for months....hmm.....I think my wife heard it was January or something. They sure had me fooled with Rebecca. I never would have guessed who her father was.

Well I said I wasn't going to do football anymore but if you're the commmisioner I just mght reconsider.

Not counting things like mowing yards and doing all kinds of odd jobs, my first real job was skinning muskrats.

BL Davenport brought up an interesting subject in the trivia thread. Hazzard High School must have a mascot name but it never came up in the series. If you were able to name Hazzard's team what would it be? Hazzard Hornets? Hazzard Rebels? Hazzard Patriots? Hazzard Hillbillies? Hazzard Wildcats? Hazzard Hawks? Let's hear other suggestions.

BL, K-Duke 15 and Hoss got my question right. It's Morgan's Airfield. That's a good question BL. I don't know of any mascot name. I'm not a fan of the reunion shows but I wonder if it came up there...it didn't that I know of. I guess it's one of those things we'll never know.

Thanks Garrett. I'm still struggling with this mouse. Well, I guess it isn't called a mouse. It's a laptop so it's just a flat spot that you rub your finger on. I'm the type of person who doesn't like change but I'll adjust since I have no choice. It looks like I have a lot to catch up on, including bragging about my Pittsburgh Pirates. I'm almost afraid to check up on your NASCAR thread. I suspect David Ragen hasn't gotten any better since I've been gone.
