Introduce Yourself

Howdy everybody, I am new to the hazzard net but by no means to the Dukes of Hazzard. I have been a fan since the early 80's. In my opinion this was the greastest show ever on television. I live in a small town that ya'll probably never heard of in south west Georgia. It reminds me alot of Hazzard Co. Well I am glad to be a part of this site and hope to makes lots of fellow "Hazzard" friends.

Like everyone else I grew up watching the show. My 6&8 year old motor head sons discovered it when CMT put it back on the air. They're hooked. Everything is Dukes in our house now. I am currently deployed to Iraq and came across your site while killing some time surfing. Great site.

My name is Wendy. The real Denver C is my cat , Denver Coletrane - a black and white manx, named, of course, after two of the greatest residents of Hazzard county! He has followed them around the screen more than any other characters since the day I got him. He always comes running when he hears the theme song, and will not move until the show is over.(What can I say, he has good taste!) Denver is also my screen name for my fanfiction postings. I figure if he's going to be in my lap the entire time I'm on the computer, he might as well get a mention somewhere. Anyway, enough about us. Denny and I are both looking forwars to meeting everybody here.

Oi a todos! Eu sou Alexandre, eu sou novo aqui no Fórum Hazzard Net. Eu sou um fã de The Dukes of Hazzard Gosto do muito bonito atrizes Catherine Bach e abril de Scott e os atores John Schneider e Tom Wopat, porque eles são fantásticos! Obrigado.

So I'm back after like 2 years or something. Not exactly sure why I strayed away but I'm back now. I hope to be a little more active and just may get more of my fanfiction worked on again. They have been such slow works in progress. Well I guess I've had a couple big things happen. Been working still. Cutting hair. Think I had just started when I went away. I'm still with the same company. Had switched stores in the same franchise but come Saturday I will be joining a different franchise. My benefits will be better and as well as the environment. Pay is also better which is always a plus. The best change: I've found myself my own good ol' boy. Like literally my …

Hello Folks, I was on here ages ago as some god-awful complicated name I can't remember, but thankfully, those days are in the past. I want to spend some more time on the net now that I can; I've been so busy-busy-busy with so many things offline. Some of you may remember me as Carolyn. I'm an aspiring writer who wants to write mostly about travel. I'm into martial arts, swimming, reading (mostly travel stories, of course, but lots of things), writing, nostalgia, including television, and have loved The Dukes of Hazzard ever since I was 7, and I fell hard for John Schneider with a crush that has never faded away since. Soon to be a Cast Member at the Walt Disney World Re…

Just joined up! What's up?

Hello people from HazzardNet, Since this forum is made to introduce myself I will use it to do so. I've been a Dukes of Hazzard fan since my mother first told me about the show when it came back on dutch television in i think 2005. My Mother said she was a fan of the show when it was on tv before I was born. For herself she recorded an episode, and because back then I watched a lot of tv with my mother I watched the episode with her and like it so much i've asked her to record more of it. I believe the first Episode I ever watched was Carnival of Thrills Part 1. Unfortunatly for me the episodes were shown during school times and my mother forgot to record most episodes be…

Hello, First sorry for my poor english. i am 36 years old, french guy (but living in japan) when I was a child, I loved cars and also General Lee was my favorite (with K2000) The series was very popular in france too. I bought the DVD when they were commercializes for the first time in 2007 in France, and i really enjoy to view year after year. I regret not being able to live in the united states (green card, poor english) but it is my dream so I hope one day it will be possible. My favorite actor is james best, I discovered this community when James Best has died and when I did some research on him with google. Yesterday I felt bad, but watching an episode of the series…

My childhood was all about the Dukes of Hazzard. I found the Facebook page for Hazzardnet and have been following the posts and enjoying the memories that come with them. I was born in 1978 and while all my friends watched the show for Daisy, my love was the General Lee. I had the die casts growing up and eventually lost them however never lost my dream of having an actual 69 dodge charger painted like the General blaring the Dixie horn. I still do not own one unless you count the 1/25 scale car sitting next to my bed. Although I have driven one a few years back when I used to work at an auto repair shop a local came in for an alignment on his General Lee, boy did I feel…

Hey Y'all My name is Hope Harbaugh and I'm 17 years old. I live in Eugene, OR , and I'm a junior in high school. I became a Duke fan a year ago when the show aired on CMT!! I know that The Dukes of Hazzard was WAY before my time, but when a new episode was on, I feels like I'm part of the new generation of Duke fans, excited to watch new episodes, sitting on the couch, and intisepated about what kind of mischief the Dukes might get into. Every weekday during school from 6-8 PM, I watch The Dukes of Hazzard. Watching Dukes after school was a GREAT way to relax, laugh, and to forget how much I was stressing for an upcomming tests and projects. Now, that I can't watch t…

YEEEEEEHAAAAAAAWWWWWW.......... A big how-dee from the desert southwest of Tucson, Arizona! Actually I'm a native New Englander (north of Boston MA), and it was the Dukes who first introduced my brother and myself to words like "ain't" and "y'all", which of course we had never heard in Massachusetts. Much to our parents' horror.... I did spend 7 years of my adult life in the Deep South, marrying into a North Louisiana family who remembered when, during the show's heyday, almost every little town had someone who had a General Lee, with varying degrees of quality. I'm an award-winning master modelmaker, normally specializing in aircraft but I'm in the process of a li…

Been a member on here for quite a while but had a few computer/e-mail issues so only just got round to introducing myself. I live in Warrington, a small town in the UK. I have been a Dukes fan all my life, and yes I am old enough to remember them the first time round! I love listening to music, I am a bit of a Rock Chick and some of my fav bands include Status Quo, AC/DC, Bon Jovi, Meat Loaf and Guns 'N' Roses. I am also a closet country fan and enjoy Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash and Toby Keith. I am just starting to get into the new country artists aswell through the power of internet radio, so let me know of anybody worth listening too. Othe…

Hi, all. I'm a newish Dukes of Hazzard fan as I first watched random episodes of the show on TV a few years ago and now I'm watching them in their respective order, so far I'm on Season 4 and really enjoying it. That said, I'm glad there's this community as the show has been deemed "racist" by the media and so many would rather avoid talking about it even though the boys, Hogg and everyone were never offensive/racist (Hogg and Rosco were corrupt and slimy, but that's their thing). Bye.

Just signed up. I'm a resurrected Duke fan. Loved it as a kid, got the series DVD's and am reliving the whole thing again. From Ontario, Just got back from a trip to Conyers, Covington. Picked up a slight Draw'l really interested in the history, of the movie, the cast, the cars, the moonshine.... Anyone know how to view the Moonrunners? I bleed orange - General Lee's, and KTM's. Cheers JimmyJ

Hey just thought I'd jump in here and say hi. Oh and to explain the background behind my Username. Now lets assume that in season 6 Cooter's 34, and this is from a vague memory of Cooter's girl, because he was 16 when Nancy Lou was born and that is 18 years later. Now if we take this to be true we can say that two years before that, when he was 14 he made the same mistake but wasn't told of it and now has a 20 year old illegitimate daughter and Nancy Lou's half sister e.g. Me. This is actually a theory I'm working with for a fanfiction I'm writing but haven't posted. main background part is that she was raised in Atlanta and her step-dad's last name is Jackson hince the …

Hi all Hazzard family. My husband and I are big fans of Dukes. We have 2 rooms in our house just for Dukes stuff.

I just had to find a Dukes of Hazzard fourm. I am watching the show for the 1st time useing a online show site. (You pay to download them so its leagle) I am on season one ep 13. I am 28 years old and i was given a copy of the 2005 movie of Dukes of Hazzard and i love it, i love it, i love it and had to go find the "OLD" show... The only thing is that the site i use is missing eps on season 2. But i hope to find hard copy DVDs of that.. I am bidding on a General Lee on E-Bay. Its 95% like the real the man that painted it did not have the to do the flag on the top.... but the car is upto 25k now so i dont think i am going to win it if it goes over 26k cuz i only have …

In the distant future, there exists a county. A county where gasoline and toxic smoke cloud the judgement of men. A county where fear and 'dem Duke Bois rule unchallenged. This summer, that's all about to change. James Best is 'Pain Trane', the Sheriff who puts the 'man' in 'lawman'. Hello, everybody. I joined up with HazzardNet to learn more about the first season. Who owns Rosco's '75 Monaco, Police 2? Where's the Polara, Police 1? What happened to the two Plymouth squads, from 'High Octane' and 'Mary Kaye's Baby'? What became of the season one guitar themes, that played in the early episodes? I hope to answer these questions and a little bit …

Hi! I started watching DOH when I was about 5. I remember going to my grandma's house on Friday evenings and everyone sitting around watching. I started watching it recently with my kids, ages 4 and 6 on CMT and they love it. My son does Rosco impressions My favorite character was always Enos. I remember being so upset that he wasn't in any episodes from early season 3-4. I'd watch the opening and if it was Cletus (who I think is funny now), I'd just turn it off, lol. I was so upset with the 1st reunion movie (didn't watch the 2nd), I'd waited 12 years for Enos and Daisy to get married Anywho...I thought I should say "Hi" because I've begun writing a (long) Enos …
