OK...I know I've said something " Negative" about Ben Jones but as I get to the end of his book....folks.... that guy is nothing but a Leftist! AND a Communist!! I know it's hard to see, when Cooter is such a great guy but Ben Jones AIN'T Cooter! Being conservative and southern or whatever, is now all the rage, but it's like the CONservative ( with emphasis on the Con), talk show hosts you have on the radio....it's a front! Being conservative is popular, so they go with it! The title of the book " A Redneck Boy In The Promised Land", ...Ha! He has no idea WHAT a REAL Redneck is and it's sad really, because he's from the south AND he grew up poor. I am from the south and …

You're convinced that truck stops have the best food. Your standard of living improves when you go camping. Your prenuptial agreement mentions chickens. You have jacked up your home to look for a dog. Your neighbor has ever asked to borrow a quart of beer. There is a belch on your answering machine greeting. You have rebuilt a carburetor while sitting on the commode. None of the tires on your van are the same size. You hold the hood of your car with your head while you work on it. Your town put the new garbage truck in the Christmas parade. Starting your car involves popping the hood. Your garbage man is confused about what goes and what stays. You whistle at women in c…

This a fun little game I played when I hung out at another website. It's basically played like the book "if you give a mouse a muffin" reads. For example, I might start with If you give Bo a calculator....... Then the next person would finish it up with something weird, humorous, etc and then start a new bit. You can use any character in the series. Ready? Here goes........ IF you give Roscoe a $100...........

Manure ... An Intersecting fact Manure: In the 16th and 17th centuries, everything had to be transported by ship and it was also before commerical fertilizer's inventions, so large shipments of manure were common. It was shipped dry, because in dry form it weight a lot less than when wet, but once water(at sea) hit it, it not only became heavier, but the process of fermentation began again, of which a by product is methane gas, As the stuff was stored below decks in bundles you can see what could (and did) happen. Methane began to build up below decks and the first time someone came below at night with a lantern, BOOOOOM! Several ships were destroyed in this manner before…

The photo contest winner is going to be announced Friday morning, so I'm hoping to get a little help from you guys. http://www.kbtx.com/weather If you go to that link, there's a voting section on the right side - might have to scroll down a little - and I'm #7. I was going to follow up my crosswords with some Dukes related anagrams, but the best I got for 'Dukes of Hazzard' was 'Soaked hard fuzz'. Then I started entering HazzardNet members' names into the online anagram finder. Here's some to start you off - are you in there?. If you're not there, sorry, some names don't lend themselves (mine included), and others may have been overlooked in this first set. Obviously any numbers and punctuation in names have been ignored. Please post replies with any you manage to solve.
