Hey y'all, I've decided to take my first few steps into modeling and what better way to do it than with a General Lee kit! It's a 1/25 scale MPC kit produced by Round 2 Models, I will be posting updates on this although I will be working on this whenever I have a free minute, so I apologise if updates are a bit inconsistent. 10:4 Joe

For those who didn't know, the Charger wreck used in Episode 4 "Repo Men" was the same car that made the jump at the very end of the show's opening credits. LOVED this car the first time I saw it as a kid, did not know how important it was until decades later. Replicating this wreck in 1/25 will be a VERY ambitious project.

Finished in record time, considering the extreme nature of the build Only major regret is the wheel spacing....wide tires were definitely used, but I really am drawing the line at redoing the suspension to tuck them in more. I've just had enough.... Hazzard collection is now 7 vehicles strong.

Hi guys, I've been a long time fan of the Dukes and back in the day I remember doing a few of the old MPC General Lee kits that turned out to be disasters. I just received a new MPC "Country Charger" kit as a gift and it appears to be just a "PC" version of the old General Lee kit. I know the kit isn't very good and it's full of inaccuracies but it's what I've got to work with and I would like to try and build a half way decent General with it. My question is: Where is the best place to order 1/24 scale General Lee decals from? I remember back in the day there were a few vendors who made more accurate versions than the kit provided but I cannot seem to find anything…

Ok, I finished up The Mean Green Machine. I used legos, foam board, an old film canister, and the chassis of another Dollar Tree jeep. Que weird Mean Green Machine music......how many of y'all can hear it in your head ?

So I've almost finished my err...I mean Colt's play set for Cooter's Garage. I've got to put some lettering above the main garage door and build one more dormer and then put the on....but we couldn't wait so let the play being and I'll finish later. Ok, so I am home from work (forced closure due to Corona Virus Governor directive). I've been working on a bunch of projects. This is a WIP (Work in Progress) of a 1:18 scale figure for Sheriff "Hammerhand" Ragsdale. This is the parts I've put together from various figures to work with. I need to do some sanding on the body, then add his bracelet and sheriff stars. Then he will need to be painted up. I also need to fabricate his extra gun belt and straps and possibly paint some pistols. Comments and Criticisms welcomed. I'm hoping to have this completed by the end of the weekend.

My latest completion! Base kit was the vintage Monogram Mork & Mindy jeep, although the roll bar needed rebuilding (should go to the floor, instead of just sitting on top of the wheel wells). Scratchbuilt items include the CB antenna and mount, center console, sun visors, side lights, and headlights (made from polished acrylic diamante gems). Really happy with the carpet, stains and all!

HELP! hello forum first time poster here and noob to site love it!! any ways I am building the MPC 1/16 GENERAL LEE, and I was getting ready to paint the wheels and have them all in plastic spring loaded clamps. im am also doing this outside as I wen to pick up first wheel to paint with my air brush I heard a " POP!! " and the tension on clamp shot the wheel ????? I have ivy on the other side of my fence, it could be any where!! very frustrating ive been working on this model for two weeks now!! and I need to know if any one has any parts for this model I could buy?? of if any forum members know where I can get parts??? I hope some one might know these answers …

I started working on another General Lee model. This is the 1/25 scale MPC Snap Kit General Lee. I started by re-shaping the rear window. It's basically a rectangle in the kit so I made it a bit larger and rounded at the top and also changed the angle to be a bit more steep. I added missing window trim under the side windows and made the rear wheel openings slightly smaller in the rear. The body is painted 1975 Corvette Flame Red which was the color most used on the General Lee(s) in the TV show. The paint is from Gravity Colors. The decals represent the early Georgia car which is my favorite look. In a few days I'll spray the clear coat on the body. …

They always look...well, sterilized comes to mind. Absolutely gorgeous, like they're going for the trophy at a car show, with a car that's never driven except on and off a trailer. This is another one of my models completed the year before. Tough to find Ford pickups of the proper timeframe, and I found an old one on Ebay. In fact, it still had it's original purchase receipt in the box, dated 18 January 1975, almost four years to the day before the series started! So, all throughout my childhood watching the series every Friday night, this kit was sitting somewhere in someone's closet waiting for a 40-something year old me to purchase it and build decades later. Finally finished this one. Started with kitbashing the MPC Dodge Monaco Police Car with the AMT 1971 Dodge Charger since the MPC chassis, suspension and engine are almost worthless, my opinion. Added to that: -rebuild grille with fine mesh -resin cast headlights and bumpers, the latter heavily improved/modified -resin cast wheel hubs and caps -scratchbuilt CB antenna and side marker lights -completely rebuilt/redesigned lightbar. This is my HO Scale Model of Hazzard square, it will also include The Boar's nest and the Duke Farm. This model is also a model railroad.

This time next year will be very exciting if astronomers are correct in their predictions. The most brilliant comet ever seen by anybody alive is on the way and should be at it's brightest by Christmas 2013. The comet may possibly be as bright as the full Moon and it may become so bright it will be visible in daytime. Often predictions of comets' brightnesses don't live up to the hype but even if it doesn't this will still be a spectacular sight. It is currently in the area of the constellation Gemini and is only visible with large telescopes and only looks like a tiny white dot. I recently started working on an MPC General Lee build. I know the Revell '69 Charger kit is a much better kit, in fact I have a couple of those. However I wanted to see if I can make the MPC kit just a little bit nicer and more accurate. The kit I'm building is the most resent issue by Round 2. I have an original issue from back when the Dukes Of Hazzard was first on the air with the incorrect rear window. I was happy that the newest issue comes with the correct tunnel back rear window. Well when I opened the box the tunnel back rear window didn't quite look right. The molding is too wide and the shape looked off. I took out one of my Revell '69 Charge…

I've been seriously thinkin' about maybe restoring some old tractors during the summer. Got any advice? I think I might just focus on Case tractors or old trucks.
