I have just seen Jessica Simpson's new music video - These Boots are Made for Walking It is basically her singing in the Boar's Nest as Daisy Duke, and then you see her washing the General in a bikini, and there is a big bar fight and it is, dare I say, a pretty good video. It is nowhere near good enough to be considered Dukes of Hazzard, but it good none the less.

Han anybody heard Deirks Bentley new cd out, I like the song "Cab of My Truck" especially the line a half-dzen parking ticket that I still haven't paid yet, thirty thpourgh twon, and I'll put the hammer down on ther country roads. Anybody catch what car gets in front of him whem he finds the little white tank top.

Listening to each track, I could tell this record was a challenge and fun for the band. =) They did covers of Beatles, The Who, Blind Faith, Willie Dixon, Ray Charles/Humble Pie, Allman Brothers, Procal Harum, Lovin’ Spoons, Jimmie Hendrix, Pretty Things, Jethro Tull, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Free and the last tune- a bluesy remake of a Styx’s classic. Does anybody know what that music is in the newest Dukes of Hazzard movie trailer. It's the trailer that starts off with the Star Wars music, and then goes into an instrumental guitar song. What I want to know is what that song is with the guitar, not the Star Wars music. Thanks.

Greetings all and great website! I hope others enjoy this post. Let's track down this instrumental music! I think everyone wants to have that infamous instrumental music played on the first 6 episodes of "The Dukes of Hazzard" that was filmed in Covington, GA before moving to California. Especially the FIRST episode during the chase scenes. Well, still no luck. BUT, I came across a Waylon Jennings tune called - "Big Ball In Cowtown". It's on his 1976 'live' album. My friends, today we have lost a true Legend of country music. We have lost a man that was not only a legend in music, but he was also a legend in rodeo. He was a friend, a cowboy and a house hold name and a hero, just like Cash, and Jennings. Today, Wednesday March 9th 2005, Chris LeDoux passed away due to cancer complications.
