  1. We've had some buyers of the RC General Lees come forward with a couple of issues. The first of which being...replacement parts needed! And while I can find plenty of RC part suppliers online, I can't find parts specific to "Malibu International", the maker of the RC General Lee. I don't know how feasible it is to swap out the wheels from an RC General Lee to any other RC wheels/tires. Check for a hobby store in your area or an RC racing club to make sure, before taking your RC General apart. Meanwhile, in my quest for parts, I found a news brief that said Malibu Int'l will be making more RC General Lees. Originally they were in production for the 2005 Christmas …

Times are tough. I hate to do it, but I have to part with some of my Dukes of Hazzard collection to pay the bills. I'll be selling these items on ebay and posting the links to the listings here. First up, it's my Dukes of Hazzard board game. The ebay auction listing is here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110945820835 If you have any questions, feel free to ask them here. Sorry international fans, I'm only shipping to the US.

So tonight my mom suddenly remembers that she had some trading cards from when she was a kid and remembered that some of them were Dukes of Hazzard. She pulls a small bag out and lone behold, there are some in there. She thinks they are extras and she might have a full set in a box somewhere. Now I have to wait till tomorrow to see if she does or not. Anyone else have any cards?

My old profile DB_537 doesn't work anymore so I had to register again. Probably because I didn't post for years. Some of you might remember me from CGLFC when it was still up. I've been working on replicas of the different prop license plates from the Dukes for a long time. At least 8 years. I have got the process perfected and found enough reference to make an accurate replica of any license plates seen on the show. I have a bunch of old prop plates from Earl Hays Press, which was the prop house used to make the plates, newspapers, sheriff car decals, and all printed paper props and labels for the show. The plates in my collection have the same style of letter…

Wow!! Thanks so much for adding this to your forums!!! I REALLY appreciate it!!! Y’all are AWESOME!!!! I’ll try not to post too many questions, but here’s my first one that has been plaguing me….in fact it was this question I was researching on the internet when I found this site. I have two original 1981 1/64 scale Ertl General Lees Mint on Card, but both are different and I was wondering what was up with them? The first one has door handles cast right on the car, the “01†stickers have a clear background, on the bottom of the card on the front under the car it reads “#1581 cWarner Bros. Inc. 1981â€, and the back of the card is the same as the other o…

My wife isn't a Dukes fan but as everybody knows, I'm a Dukes addict so this story is funny enough that I thought I'd share it. I bought a metal 1:18 scale General Lee at Ray Kohn's (rained out) stunt show this weekend. I was showing the opening hood, working steering, detailed engine and interior, and other parts to my wife. I showed her that the doors seemed a little loose. They were closed tight but wiggled a little bit like they might open. I explained that I tried to open them but gave up because I was worried that if I forced the issue I might break something and it wasn't really necessary that I open them since I wasn't planning on displaying it with the doors ope…

  15. Hi all, Anyone can help me? I am working on a Dukes of Hazzard price guide for diecast, plastic, R/C and slot cars only. Is there any ways I could obtain images and info that you may have of model replicas from the movie and TV series? I will source you as the provider. I have managed to get some recent images photos from collectors and manufacturers but I am missing images of the vintage replicas. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

  17. Every now and then we see a Dukes of Hazzard collectible on ebay that's worth attention, due to it's unique nature and scarcity. This toy Dukes of Hazzard dashboard and toy guitar fit the bill. They're also expensive! As a rule of thumb, big prices are only justified if the item is in mint condition and the popularity/rarity of the item gives it a good chance of increasing in value. While this ain't "Dukes Antique Road Show", and we can't promise what this stuff might be worth in the future, it may be of interest to the serious Dukes of Hazzard collector: Toy dashboard Toy guitar Yeehaw!

  18. Dukes of Hazzard toy marketing this year is alive and well ! The new 1:18 sale RC General Lee ( 27 MHz) features box art with the new Duke faces - along with Jessica's boobs right above the logo. The car itself is a lot of fun, and worth the price. It's not an ERTL product, though - it's made by "Malibu International." And of course it's made in China. Walmart seems to have the market cornered on this baby. If anyone else carries it, I haven't been able to find it. Walmart is also carrying JoyRide/ERTL "Hot Pursuit" 3-car sets. ERTL has produced these faithfully for years. The packaging is updated - No rebel flag on the blister pack. But on the back of the …

  21. Started by RogerDuke,

I got a little surprise today. A friend of my wife's knows I'm a Dukes fan and was at a garage sale and picked up a Bananas magazine with Bo and Luke on the front. It's in mint condition. The magazine was put out by Scholastic and is from 1980 and the front of it says "Those Daredevil Dukes". Despite the fact that Luke is on the front too, the only story inside is about Bo. It's a two page article with 12 questions for John Schneider. Sometimes it's hard to believe that I'm the same age as John. (He's 7 days older than me). When I was 20 I was very immature for my age (responsible but immature) and he seemed so much older. I was so shocked when I first heard he was the …

I am hoping someone can help me here. My fiance has a Unisonic Dukes of Hazzard Digital watch with metal band. Has the horn go off he says. He had brought up to me that he would love to get it working, but has no battery in it and I thought I would try and find him one for it, but I can't anywhere. Can someone please help me on what one I need to get and where I can get one?

It's not too often that I get surprised with a Dukes of Hazzard product that I didn't know about. Thankfully I have a wife who does all the shopping because I really don't like to shop for anything. In fact, It has been many years since I've stepped in the local drug store in my hometown but today I did. They still carry a pretty decent selection of model cars even though I doubt kids buy them as much as I did when I was a kid. After scanning the selection I noticed two General Lees. Of course they put a big smile on my face. I tried to not let it bother me that they were the politically correct ones without the flag on the roof. Then my eyes really lit up. Maybe this …

Thought it might be handy to have a section for the newer Dukes of Hazzard products that are currently available in stores. I'll add stuff as I find it for ya. As mentioned in a previous thread elsewhere in the Forums that I'm too lazy to go look up - ERTL has relased a new 1/18 scale diecast General Lee for 2004. They are proclaiming it as thier most detailed General Lee ever produced. For more info, do a search under "Entertainment" diecasts on thier website, http://www.ertltoys.com
