Okay, im a fan. we all are, bottom line is that im still quite new to the community here and public events held within. I was wondering if anyone here has been to dukefest? The reason Why Im asking this is because i own and operate a small local radio station and have several talk shows with people ranging from S. Bishop (storyboard artist from sharktale), Keith V. (Massive collector of Hollywood props including an impressive Ghostbusters collection including a screen used proton pack) to Hank Braxtan (currently one of the top north american independent film makers to date). now, im Not tearing the new flick to shreds here But... in a recent post the most popular word on any message board was muttered there, "Crybaby". It's been widely reported that Ashton Kutcher was gonna have a leading role in the upcoming Dukes movie, but I've come across new information that conflicts with this. Ashton is currently working on another project for Columbia Pictures. The movie is called "The Dinner Party" and went into production 06/21/04. The movie is slated for release next summer, just about when Dukes was supposed to come out. I just found on (VZW Tones) get it now stuff for ringtones, they have where you can download the sgae 9 version of the dukes of hazzard theme as your ringtone. I just downloaded it and it sounds great!!! just figured i would let yall know.

Any of you who have AOL if you sign on tonight 4/23/05, they list 10 movies that you can't miss this summer and Dukes is one of them. They list Aug 5th as the release date.

I watched the dukes on tv and didnt even miss one episode,i was hooked :-D.Now about this new movie well nothing will beat the original show but all i will say is this,it will be a good perv to watch daisy (jessica) .. and it would be nice to see the old general getting airborn again....(lets hope theres alot of that). Just read on the Dukes-fest forum on this site that they have decided to shoot some new stuff for the begining of the film and have called back the cast and extras . Have a look at the post about it on the Duke-fest forum from one of the extras. Any news on this would be great?

Does anyone know who the band and or singer is, that plays with Uncle Jesse(Willie Nelson) at the "Shine Mart"? I really like the song they sing and can't find out what it is or who sings it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I want to take our almost new 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 to a custom paint shop, and have it painted like the General. (Attention all you Photoshop folks) Anyone that can do one in PhotoShop so I can see what it might look like, I need your help! Anyways, I put a 12 note Dukes horn on the truck a little while back and ever since then I've been thinkin about it. Cool idea, or bad?

I don't think the new cast will bring the original classic feel from the show. Johnny and the um... (i forgot his name) (Bo) i dont think they will be very good for the part, but i still want to see the movie to see how it turns out. Jessica is questionable she kinda looks the part (attractive) but her reputation just makes me wonder. on the other hand Willie Nelson I think will make a perfect Uncle Jesse......... Bit off topic, but it was just a gool ol winter country day in canada. Just looking back at the time of the duke boys in the 70's, watching how pure and decent everything was back then i decided to encode some film of my relatives farm through 1950-1977 and little did i know what to find 5 minutes into the flick!
