Dukes of Hazzard Movies

Anyone know who will be the narrator in the Dukes of Hazzard the beginning?

Well after all i have read about Jessica Simpson snubbing her nose at people during filming and all, it is in my best saying....GO TO HELL!!!! She does not realize what type of role she has gotten as I am sure she was only 2 when the Dukes of Hazzard premeired.... I have seen numerous pictures of the filming and I still believe Scott and Knoxville are not Bo and Luke but they are not as bad as I was once percieving. Well anyhow I have a list of people here that should have been casted for Daisy. Please give me some feedback on who should have played Daisy besides Bimbo Simpson. Thanks, The Hazzard Fanatic

Who was the best casting choice for the movie?

When, not if, but when I make MY Dukes film I am going to cast it right. First of all, Willie Nelson would be the Balladeer, not Uncle Jesse. Him and Waylon were buddies, who better for the part. And I would cast Dierks Bently, the musician as Bo Duke. He already has that sort of "Bo" persona. Just listen to his best songs and watch the vids. Heck he even makes a referrence to Bo in "What Was I Thinking" he"ran outside hood-slidin like Bo Duke" And just picture him with straighter hair, BO! Okay, looking at Knoxville and Scott here playing luke & bo it makes me wonder, whos going to be the better actor to portray the part? im gone. -Brad

Has there been any word out yet about who will be cast for these roles? If there shooting the movie already, shouldnt they have had the roles cast already? Or at the very least the producers should have a small list of canidates to play those roles. Have we heard any rumors of anyone for those roles?

Ok so what if Jessica is blone and the Bo and Luke dont dress or acted like the original's. The tralor looks good and just maybe they wont act or look dumb when the movie comes out. But yet some people already have there minds made up that this movie is going to suck. Im not saying it going to win an ocser. But the movie might just suprise people but the problem is that when Starsky and Hutch came out and movie i liked but it's was'nt like the show and it was'nt funny but it was good then people toke that movie and made it the drewing board for other movies that would be made from other old tv show that if it suck then other movie's that Hollywood would make would suck. …

Why have they made Boss Hogg tall and thin in this film. I think Burt will be great as Boss Hogg but he is ment to be short and fat. They should have kept him short and fat.

Hi just found out about the Dukes of Hazzard movie. Was a big fan when I was a kid. Have enjoyed some of the tv shows they have made into films. Not sure when they finish filming but I have been living for the last few months in Sydney Australia enjying the Australian summer and getting away from the Uk winter and I found out That Willie Nellson will be on tour in Australia in Feb. Maybe he has finish his bit in the film. Anyone know anything about his part as Uncle Jessie.

I know it may be a little early to mention this topic (let alone start a thread about it) but lets get at er' on this one. what do WE the duke fans and the rest of the consumers deserve to get with this DVD? I say ALL of the stunts and then some. damn, a Seperate disc all about the General! then of course I gotta remember that there was a cast too! weve all heard of people on the internet exchanging songs, TV shows, movies on DVD and movies in theaters through p2p programs like Kazaa or winmx. With this ive learned to buy my music or media off of Kazaa (yes, you can buy music off of Kazaa). However, alot of trailers and such can be found on kazaa that have been video taped in theaters (movies as well i guess, which is very illegal to do - so dont download anything you shouldnt!). bottom line, i think the easiest/most conveinent way for any of us with little time on our hands (if you want to risk it) is TRY to download the DOH Trailer that was aired on Television instead of the one projected in theaters through Kaza…
