Dukes of Hazzard Movies

I wonder where they will get the horn for the new movie? I watched the Dukes as a kid every friday at my babysitters and I now own the first season on dvd. Everytime I count the notes of the horn on the show, I get 12 notes. JCWhitney's Dixie horn plays 11. What gives? I'd like to have a horn like the one on the show. Maybe I just can't count, lol. Any ideas?

Man O Man, I could kick myself in the ass for not carrying my camera 24/7. The crew at The Boar's Nest was the biggest yet. They busted some serious tail yesterday to finish up and all I can say is WOW. I came back through late and got some night shots. It gets dark around 5:00 over here so its the best I could come up with right now but I'm on my way out for more building shots. There were 2 jeeps there, 2 of Boss's cars and a BIG 18 wheeler which must have carried them there or was housing some LEE's. They have a manlift for some aerial shots and tons of crew, cast and extra transport vehicles. I don't know if they were shooting inside or rehearsing something, or …

It is important that th original cast appear to show those who arn't farmiliar with the show who the REAL Dukes are. Some say the new cast is a joke. Jessica Simpson can brag to the magisines all she wants about winning the role of daisy but as far as i am concerned she is just a dumb ditsy blonde who won the part due to her good looks and popularity. I am a extra in the Dukes of Hazzards movie and I would like to say that they shot in Zachary,LA behind the new Chillis Monday and Tuesday. Thursday and today they have been shooting at the corner of Scenic Hwy and Choctaw. Saturday Jessica Simpson for sure will be at the Clinton parade and they will shoot a couple of extra needed scenes to link in the Cooters Garage scenes. Hello, I wanted to give everyone a update on the movie. Yesterday and today they are filming at the corner of Choctaw and Scenic in Baton Rouge. They are shooting the scenes for the Hazard County Police Dept. Yesterday it was Daisy breaking one of the Duke boys out of jail. They also had a 60's style mustang with Boss Hogg written on it and Burt Reynolds picture on it. Today I rode by there and The black Trans Am from Smokey and the Bandit with the liscense Bandit 4 on it. Tomorrow Clinton is having a Christmas parade and Jessica is supposed to be in the parade and I think they are filmin some scenes during the parade.

Hey Ya'll I have been reading many posts about movie script ideas and I have to say that you guys have some great ideas. I have to say though that I really would like to see the original cast in the big screen version of the movie. My concept would be that If WB insists on new faces as the lead characters, the original cast should be written into the movie to "pass the torch" to the new cast. Now I still believe that there is no real way to replace the original dukes, but if it must be done the only way I can see it on film in my eyes is by passing the torch to the new cast.

Hey everybody!! I'm new to the forum, but a long time DOH fan. I have relatives that live in Baton Rouge and I had my Uncle go try and get some pics of the Team Toyota lot. hi. ive been checking out this site and i love it. so i thought id give my 2 cents. my idea for the teaser is this. the teaser starts with some shots of the southern country side. theres a voice over about how nice and peaceful the south is. the camera pans right into the "welcome to hazzard county" sign. as we see the sign the General Lee jumps the sign and we see Bo and Luke driving. they do the yee haw and the dixie horn blows. then we see Roscoe behind them crash the sign. then maybe shots of the cast. they should film this just for a teaser. the thing im looking forward to see most is the jumps. these days the jumps look kick ass, and id like to see a great shot of …

Yesterday my husband was driving towards Clinton, La & saw vehicles approaching (on a 1 lane on each side highway) & was like What the Hell? First let me say this is the best site I've found for info about the movie. I'm the part owner of the garage that is being used for Cooter's. The filming started on the afternoon of November 18 and ran until about midnite. It continued after lunch the next day and ran until about 2:30 am. They did not complete all the scenes and must return at a later (to be determined) date. I can let everyone know that David Koechner (Anchorman, My Boss's Daughter) is playing the part of Cooter. Hey Ya,ll Just some quick thoughts here. We all know that John Schneider was and still is great at putting the General Lee through his paces. He is actually a professional driver and I was told that he attended the Skip Barber Racing School. Is Sean W. Scott up to the challenge of making the General Lee dance the way he should? Or do you think it will be all left up to stunt drivers. I hope at least this new kid gets the proper training.
