Dukes of Hazzard Movies

I know the Dukes was only shot for 5 episodes in Georgia and the rest of the time in California, but the first 5 episodes were the best to me. I like the rural Georgia country roads. They were asphalt roads leading into the town of Hazzard but when they changed locations to California, the roads became dirt for some reason. It just seemed more real to me when they were filming in Georgia. I also hate the special effects of the last couple of years of the show. Some of the jumps were just to fake and you could tell it. Here we go again! This is hot off the press from the Hollywood Reporter. As of this time we have zero confirmation about this WB/Jody Hill project actually being a Dukes of Hazzard movie. But we can't ignore the possibility. Back when the rumors started for the 2005 Dukes movie, (maybe it was 2003 at the time) and Britany Spears was being considered for Daisy, we were the first Dukes website with the dirt. This probably has been talked about a lot on other threads, but the following I believe should be on a Duke's Movie or even a new Duke's series: Uncle Jesse: Charlie Daniels instead of Willie Nelson Boss Hogg: Danny Devito Daisy Duke: Still looking but the young lady on the Beginning Movie has promise. The Balladeer: Shooter Jennings Not sure on the others as of yet, but Charlie Daniels would be great. He could even do a reunion movie with the original cast as one of Jesse's brothers. Just a thought. What do yall think?

Anyone know who will be the narrator in the Dukes of Hazzard the beginning?

Let me stir things up a little bit. Please feel free to disagree. The first reunion movie had a great plot but I refuse to buy the DVD. Here's why.. Daisy, Bo and Luke would have never left Uncle Jesse at the farm alone like they did. I could have probably handled it a little better if all 3 of them would have announced at the end of the movie that they were back in Hazzard to stay but they didn't (correct me if I'm wrong with that statement, I've only seen it once). What makes this especially troubling is how frail Jesse looked when he was left to the farm alone. I'm sure he gave them his blessing to go but that's not the point. The point is that they wouldn't have left…

I was wondering what y'all would want to see in a dukes movie if it featured all the original cast in one last hurrah on the big screen. I would want to see the biggest scam to come through hazzard, one that maybe even concerns residents outside hazzard county, something perhaps on the grandest scale...A Dukes save the world kind of plot I guess. I feel like it would have to be something that would set up everyone leaving afterwards. Daisy falls in love, Cooter starts thinking about politics, Bo and Luke realize their dreams, Rosco saves the day. I just see it making everything come full circle. Your thoughts??

where was the jump in the beginning of the 05 movie i heard some where it was comite river but i would like to be for sure i would like to go see the spot when i go down to louisianna

Instead of a sequel the last two I say reboot the whole thing and try to do it right. The movies were OK for what they were but obviously the complaints against them were valid otherwise the second one wouldn't have been direct to DVD. Believe me I'm no prude, I'm all for good raunchy comedy. The Dukes just isn't and wasn't the vehicle to use for one. Rebooted properly something that was on it's last legs can be revived. You don't have to know anything about Superheros to know that the last two Batman movies raked it in. The first one one of those rebooted that franchise. A properly done "Dukes" could generate sequels and being family friendly could bring the kids in too…

What are some of the ideas that you have for a Third Dukes of Hazzard Movie would you cast and who would keep and replace as well. I think they should keep Harland Williams as Rosco he was funny in the role but they need somebody older for Enos he was too young.

During the commercials that were running to promote the big screen Dukes movie in 2005, there was a rock version of "Good Ol' Boys," but it didn't appear during the movie and is not on the soundtrack. I have never been able to track down details...who sings it? Where can I find it? Any help is appreciated!

ok Im gonna say this, If it werent for the movie I won't have been a Dukes fan... when I first saw the movie I actually liked it I did. I also Loves Dukes of Hazzard Beginnings its really cool. the boys were kinda cute. Daisy needed a fuller figure but im not hating on it. I know they didnt stick to the story line ad I know some of y'all basically wanna kill Jessica for taking the role but if you were an actor won't you have taken the job? Just think of it as a family whose last name was Dukes instead of the Dukes of hazzard everyone knows.

Now, let's say the only really major change they make is they decide to reduce the number of cousins by making someone siblings, like the Duke boys or one of the boys and Daisy. I'm not sure (without reading everything) if anyone's posting about this DVD from England, but I managed to find a copy on sale last week in HMV (a British music chain-store) It's quite amusing in places; Luke crying as Daisy tells him about the virginity pledges Loulou stuffing the Turkey with Luke Not sure about a seemingly gay Cooter though???? Finding the General in a pool???, at odds with the boys getting it off a used-car lot in the TV series April Scott as Daisy??? Hot!!!!!!!!! As Mike Myers used to say in 'Waynes World'.... I just checked IMDB and the rating is up and it is "R". That means probably a few F bombs and nudity among other things that do not belong in Dukes of Hazzard.Definitely a no buy for me,I won't even rent it. I as a Dukes fanatic refuse to accept this crap and if you are as passionate about Dukes as I am.Don't buy this.Boycott. I realize that I'm probably wasting my time posting this as most of you don't care anymore just as long as it says Dukes on it,you'll buy it.
