How does that actually work? is it a type of manual transmission? cause i remember bo always shifting it down to speed up and stuff...heres a pic

Found this out on some other sites and did a post on this before.Seems they went back after they finished filming on this movie and did some re-shoots. I wonder what they had to ad to this film? I see thet have done the same thing on the new Pink Panther movie and I think they do it all the time on other movies.

Now, it comes to mind... will the new sets of "Cops N Robbers" type police pusuits live up to the original series? lets be honest guys, not many flicks (aside from gone in 60 seconds) have the best of the best chases. and the original stuntmen had it down to a damn art! the cornering, bumps, etc. think its capable to make it better or at least live up to it? im gone. -Brad

Everybody needs to take the time to read the article from the Wall Street Journal that's posted here. What Warner Bros. is doing to the General Lee is a disgrace and an insult to every fan of The Dukes. Think about it...Who in the heck are they trying NOT to offend? The people who WON'T be going to see the movie ANYWAY??? We, the real fans, will once again be the victim of political correctness...If Warner Bros. does what the article says it will do then I say BOYCOTT....They sit out there in California and call us a bunch of racist hicks, apologize for the Battle Flag on the General Lee, and THEN want our MONEY!! He_ _ NO!!!!

Have any of you ever stopped to consider the security issues involved when you have celebrities in an area? Think about the rock n roller who was shot dead by a nut case just two days ago! There are more crazies out there than you can imagine, and all it would take is ONE with a grudge to get onto these sets and kill a star and/or cast/crew members. Some jerk got onto the set and in where they were filming last night, because in his twisted brain, he thought it was perfectly okay to just walk into the place and hang out! And he refused to leave!! And how did he get in there? Ask the Livingston Parish Deputy who was supposed to be guarding the entrance. He was busy …

Instead of a sequel the last two I say reboot the whole thing and try to do it right. The movies were OK for what they were but obviously the complaints against them were valid otherwise the second one wouldn't have been direct to DVD. Believe me I'm no prude, I'm all for good raunchy comedy. The Dukes just isn't and wasn't the vehicle to use for one. Rebooted properly something that was on it's last legs can be revived. You don't have to know anything about Superheros to know that the last two Batman movies raked it in. The first one one of those rebooted that franchise. A properly done "Dukes" could generate sequels and being family friendly could bring the kids in too…

One of my favourite episodes of "Smallville" was the one that served as a reunion for you and your "Dukes of Hazzard" co-star Tom Wopat. I liked that. I thought that was cute. He [Wopat’s character] was the one that got me into the Senate race to begin with, so you can say it was kinda him that eventually did me in. I just saw a commercial for a new episode of Reel Comedy on Comedy Central featuring the cast of The Dukes of Hazzard about the new movie. It will be on Tuesday night at 7:00 pm

During the first part of the show the General had a Radio Shack Teardrop Base Antenna, later on the General had a Avanti AV-327 "Racer 27". But what about the reunion movies? Today I was just showering and was thinking about the Antenna's but then I noticed that I didn't know if the Reunion movies General Lee had an antenna, I decided to check it out. We first see the Generals antennas base when they first drive with it again. This is Reunion GL2. Later one we see the back of a General more clear, this is the only time you can see the back of a reunion General clearly. (In this case Reunion GL1). Unfortunately this time there General doesn't have an antenna... Then late…

Did you know the creator of DOH participated in both reunion movies?

Just something for some people who are intrested in seeing the movie. The orginal series, when it started back in the 70's, got horrible reviews and the big wigs HATED the show. Needless to say we are still talking about and loving the saw that is The Dukes of Hazzard 30 years later!!!

During the commercials that were running to promote the big screen Dukes movie in 2005, there was a rock version of "Good Ol' Boys," but it didn't appear during the movie and is not on the soundtrack. I have never been able to track down details...who sings it? Where can I find it? Any help is appreciated!

I've got to wonder if Rosco's part in the movie is going to be as big as it was in the movie. The website doesn't have a Rosco wallpaper or buddy icon. All of the reviews posted here doesn't make mention of Rosco's role. Will there be a comedy duo with Boss and Rosco or will he be just a country sheriff under the main antagonist, Boss Hogg?

I'm of the opinion the original cast can't ( and shouldn't ) be replaced. But there's something to be said for keeping the Dukes of Hazzard adventures going for generations to come, so long as '69 Charges don't become extinct in the process. That bein' said... The "next generation" concept, which would give the original cast well-deserved screen time, would be the best way to appeal to longtime fans while drawing new folks that never saw the show in their life. Hey Ya'll I have been reading many posts about movie script ideas and I have to say that you guys have some great ideas. I have to say though that I really would like to see the original cast in the big screen version of the movie. My concept would be that If WB insists on new faces as the lead characters, the original cast should be written into the movie to "pass the torch" to the new cast. Now I still believe that there is no real way to replace the original dukes, but if it must be done the only way I can see it on film in my eyes is by passing the torch to the new cast.

Willian Lee Scott played Bullethead on The Steve Harvey Show, just one thing are they brothers they sure had me fooled. William Lee Scott was on the Movie "Gone In 60 Seconds(1999) he was computer wiz kid in the movie, if you have the movie on dvd or video take a look again.
