after years of dreaming my general lee diecast model arrived today !!! khee! khee! the closet i'll ever get to owning the real thing yeeha!!!!!!! i took pictures of the model outside to give it the realstic feel can i post pictures in gallery??? this by gar is the greatest thing to happen to me!!! yeeeha!

Looking for suggestions for police belt/holster setups to match the Hazzard law. My head is swimming after over an hour on eBay looking at vintage stuff, I just don't know. And tough to tell from the DOH show photos I tried looking at....

I haven't been here in awhile. Life happens and so I quit my job and started my own business. Anyway just recently I was told of a museum close to where I live that was like the Boars Nest. Literally 20 minutes from my house out a little 2 lane road was this awesome spectacle. It is Cooters garage from the California episodes and it is very much tv accurate. To the RH side he has built a screen accurate Boars Nest and when I say it is screen accurate I mean down to the original juke box and pinball machine. Boss's office has the pool table and the big sword fish on the wall. I can't figure out how to post pics on here since I'm just not great with that kinda stuff but …

Probably only those of you who grew up watching the Dukes in its original CBS run will know what I'm talking about, but do you remember midway through the show, during a commercial break, they would show that same shot of Waylon's hands and guitar, playing a snippet of the theme song, which faded into a shot of the General Lee flying through the air and Waylon's voice saying "Dukes of Hazzard will continue" and the General was then freeze-framed in mid air? My 6 year old son's favorite show is - of course- the Dukes of Hazzard. While I'm here in Iraq he and his brother have tried to make my trip more comfortable by providing me with pictures they have drawn. I thought it best if these two were shared with those on this site. I also threw a picture of this years pine wood derby in for good measure. Thanks for your indulgence.

Hey y'all, Bit of a weird question but does anyone know anywhere that I can purchase a Dukes lunch box other than the obvious places like eBay and Etsy etc., I need it for a short film I'm making set in the mid-80's, plan to throw in a few Dukes references , any advice would be greatly appreciated. Hi Gang, I'm afraid I can keep silent no longer about the brand new and improved forums. I liked the old set up better because I didn't go blind every time I logged onto it. The orange is too orange, I love Halloween, but not every single day. Another thing I must comment on is the fact that the Google ads all over Hazzardnet have now quadrupled. I come to Hnet to read the posts, not the Yellowpages. I am pretty disappointed with how overly busy this place looks now, do we really need the top posts on the side? I would like to thank the moderators for all their hard work in keeping this forum working. I realize that doing this "side project" from the other things going on in your personal lives could be considered "another job or strain." Hey guys, I can't believe I just noticed this one and I can't believe they didn't re-write the script, unless they did it as a joke ( I feel there's a lot of stuff I see on the show, that HAD to be a joke among cast and crew.) I was watching this last night. Remember when Loretta Lynn was kidnapped and they were taking her to that barn in an RV? She threw pics of herself out the back window, so someone would find them and follow them to her. However, the blue car that the crooks were driving pulled into the barn immediately after the RV did. WHY DIDN'T THE CROOKS IN THE CAR NOTICE SHE WAS THROWING OUT PICS OF HERSELF???

You can feel that hint of Fall trying to come back around to the hills here in Hazzard County! Soon the leaves will change color and the afternoons will get cooler. The General Lee won't be the only spot of orange in the countryside as folks start decorating with pumpkins on the porch. How's the weather in your area?

I read in a tv guide from my sunday paper about a new made for tv dukes movie or show called The Dukes of Hazzard a new beginning coming out next year. Has anybody heard anything about it?
