Can anyone tell me a good place in: New York/Massachusetts/Pensylvania/Connecticut that can do a decent Dixie paint job? I'm using a '92 Jeep, although I know Dixie's a CJ7, but I need something to tide me over until I can buy a Charger to make into a General! Please, help! Oh, and any other details can and will help. Thanks!

Hey y'all I've had this idea for a while, but it seemed that whenever I'd try to do it I always faced some obstical that forced me to stop. Now however I'm trying it. I've always been fascinated with motorbikes, mainly Harleys. Around Christmas of last year I began toying with the idea of fitting a gas engine from a lawnmower, chainsaw or weed wacker. Last weekend I put that idea to paper, and within three hours of deciding on this project bought a bike. The badge says it was made in west Germany, so it's atleast 25 years old. And because it's German it's built like a tank. Unfortunately I found this out the hard way after I had broken seven drill bits trying to drill hole…

Hey y'all My neighbours are moving to England in a month, and they were clearing out their garage today. As I was coming home from school I passed a dumpster outside their house, and saw a bike lying on top of a pile of junk. My family is good friends with theirs, but I asked them if I could have the bike before ai took it. It wasn't in brilliant shape,it's slightly scraped and rusty, but the gears and brakes don't work. At this point in my life I've riden every type of bike there is (including a unicycle). Well every type with the exception of a tandem bike. For those who don't know what a tandem bike is it's a bike that two people can ride at the same time Unfortuna…

Hey y'all I've recently started watching Fall Guy, and developed an extreme love for the truck. For anyone who's unfamiliar with the show, here's a picture of the Goliath of a truck Look at it!! Its what all pickups should be like. Massive wheels and tires, roll bar, push bar and winch. Seen as I'm probably never going to be able to build one, I've done the next best thing and decided to build a bike version!! "oh no here we go again", I hear you say. I began searching for a decent donor on Wednesday, and by Friday had found one. I got it delivered earlier today. Heres a picture of it before I touched it. It's a top of the range off roading bike, costing several hund…

This is kinda like a sister thread to 'Rosco as a Valet' in the fact it's supposed to be humorous and bring some laughs. These are road signs and parking signs that I swear, would be right at home in Hazzard! hmm... I wonder if Bo and Luke just flew by... Yup... I'm sure at least a few of these can be found in Hazzard....

Hey Y'all! Okay... I need help. If there's anyone out there that is knowledgeable about vehicles, please help! Okay, I have a 1982 (I think!) Ford Bronco XLT. Right now it's in a state of slight disrepair. Basically where should I start? Last time I looked (last summer ) it did start, but I'm not sure. Its just an old farm truck, so the battery gets removed and it gets parked behind the barn for the winter. But anyways, it "clunks" when you drive it (it is a manual transmission, four wheel drive) And the liner on the ceiling is falling down. I am working on gluing it back up, or something. (I don't know how to work on cars... most I've done is add some gas/oil and pump …

Hi y'all!! My brother recently got a new bike, and he gave me the old one to use for parts. Well when I say he gave me it, it was more like," I'm giving you this bike, but you have to go and get it". I should explain at this point that he left it at our grandparents house three years ago, and never got round to collecting it. It sat neglected and forgotten, slowly being swallowed by the ivy in their back yard. Anyway I went round to their house today, and after taking off the seized front brake and pumping up the tires managed to cycle it part of the way home, at which point the rear gears locked up which caused the bike to skid. I tried using brute force to unlock the …

It's official! I have decided that when I win the lottery (It's no longer a question of 'if' it's when! LOL) I'm gonna go do some serious car shopping! My first purchase would be a 1970 Mustang Boss 302 Next would probably be the General! (Duh!! LMAO!) Then a 2010 Ford F-150 Raptor SVT (Purdy & sporty truck!) Then, if I still have the desire to stick with the ranch, (which, if you know anything about the situation up here in Alberta, it's very unlikely) I'd probably step out and buy a John Deere 8530 front wheel assist for feeding the cows and putting the crop in and pulling the silage chopper. That's what I'd do! lol.. Hows bout y'all? What are your plans for whe…

After finishing a 1969 Charger R/T project that was on again/off again for 11 years, It was amazing to drive my project down the road and cruise in it. All that hard work, patience and money spent had finally paid off. Now don’t get me wrong I love driving/crusin’ in my 69, but I really missed having a project. I missed having something to go out in the shop in and work on in my spare time. I actually missed spending hours online searching Craigslist, eBay, and message board classifieds looking for the best deals on parts and supplies I needed. So after putting a little cash aside, I decided it was time to search for a new project. What I really had …

Hi ! I have a 69' Charger that I'm working to restore as a General. Does anyone here have any front side marker reflector lenses (with housing/gasket)? These are kinda pricey for such a small object. They don't have to be in mint condition. I just thought that I would write and ask...Thank you for any help! Kind regards, Aaron dunnsville_va@yahoo.com
