I’m currently watching the mid to late 60s spy series The Man From U.N.C.L.E. (1964-1968). I’m currently watching a late Season 1 episode (“The Love Affair”) from March of 1965. Peggy Rea had a bit-part as a goofy, “revivalist”, lol! 🤪

Today for some reason my mind turn to JD Hogg and thinking about the fat suit Sorrell wore. But how about Peggy Rea? Did she wear a fat suit too? I can't seem to get the answer to that question. I would think she wore one looking at DVDs barbecue.

Recently got the complete series of the crime/detective show Mannix, starring Mike Connors. It was on from 1967-1975 (same years/seasons as Ironside, which ironically I just got done watching, as well). I’ve never seen Mannix until now, so I’m enjoying watching it for the first time! But, watching a late first season episode from spring of 1968 (“Delayed Action”), and Peggy Rea (‘Lulu Hogg’) is guest-starring! Here’s a scene-clip I found online:

Sad news to all Dukes Fans. John has reported on his twitter account that Peggy Rea, the wonderful lady who brought Lulu Coltrane Hogg to our screens has sadly passed away this week 'Dukes fans out there mourn the passing of the delightful Peggy Raye this week. Lulu Hogg made millions smile. She's in a better place. John' I'm sure we all send out condelences to her family and those friends that were closest to her.

With the passing of our beloved Peggy Rea I think it would be nice if someone would post a poll asking what everyone's favorite Lulu episode is. I'd do it but I don't know how....LOL....my computer skills are horrible. Here's some of the episodes that should be on the poll. Can anyone think of any more? I have to say, even though she wasn't on there much, Lulu cracked me up, the way she was able to make Boss do what she wanted. That's why I love all the episodes she is in. She is cool!

I have a buddy that has been wanting to send Peggy an 8X10 to have it igned. Does anyone have a way of contacting her? Just a shot in the dark but maybe someone does. Thanks Tom

Since Lulu doesn't have much on her forum, we'll start a quotes thread for her. Boss: Now don't get upset. Lulu: I WANT THAT CAR! Boss: She's getting upset. Lulu: J.D.! Don't you go sending my baby brother on a suicide mission! I had you make him sherriff so he'd have a safe job! I'm sure there's more out there, but we need to see some later seasons with more Lulu appearances.

Alright everybody....I will be the first to post in here....Does anyone have any updates on her? The last I seen of her was on Grace Under Fire in the mid 90's... Darrell

FYI: Peggy Rea was recently interviewed and will be shown on the big screen at Dukefest this year. She is not up for a trip from CA to GA but she is alive and well and will be represented at dukefest! PS, I wonder if anybody has thought to invite Denver's son to attend, he is in his 50's now and probably looks like Uncle Jesse too:) Denver's wife is still around too. Sorrell also had a brother named Fred who I think is still living. Sorell is survived by his two children and his ex-wife Miranda. It would be interesting to hear some of their relatives give some accounts of their past wouldn't it?

Lulu sure did wear ALOT of blue eyeshadow in this episode....
