February 15, 200521 yr Since Lulu doesn't have much on her forum, we'll start a quotes thread for her.Boss: Now don't get upset.Lulu: I WANT THAT CAR!Boss: She's getting upset.Lulu: J.D.! Don't you go sending my baby brother on a suicide mission! I had you make him sherriff so he'd have a safe job!I'm sure there's more out there, but we need to see some later seasons with more Lulu appearances.
February 15, 200521 yr Lulu - (after finding her Rolls' crushed into a doorstop. She takes the hood ornament and hands it to Boss) "You start with this, and get me the rest by tonight!"
February 21, 200521 yr Author don't forget to add:OR ELSE!Or else what? I believe Boss knew, as he certainly looked threatened.
July 6, 200620 yr It's sweet how she was always nice to the Dukes, especially Daisy, but she was always stern with Boss.
February 10, 200719 yr On "Cool Hands Luke and Bo" episode:Lulu: You help the Duke boys or else...Boss: Or else what?Lulu: No more cooking, no more cleaning, and no more seperate refrigerators!
September 3, 200917 yr I see that this one hasn't been posted yet. It's from "Lulu's Gone Away" when she was really mad at Boss for not living up to his promises and she was on her way to yell at him. "I'm going to come down so hard on that man, he's going to have to reach up to touch grass!"
September 13, 200916 yr I believe you just posted my favorite quote by Mrs.Lulu! She's such a sweetheart.
September 13, 200916 yr Personally, my favorite Lulu quote is from "Repo Men""Ace, you have a problem walking upright!" *chuckles*
September 13, 200916 yr This isn't so much a favorite quote but a favorite scene, also from "Repo Men" when Bo's complimenting her on her dress and her shoes and all. And she's all grinning from ear to ear. Too funny!
September 20, 200916 yr This isn't a quote but just a thought. Mrs. Lulu must have been a very strong woman to put up with Boss's attitude and eating. Goodness if you think about how much she had to cook for just one of his meals, it makes me sit back and think about how easy it is just to cook for a normal appetite, but then again, as Bo said "Boss can eat more than any four people I've met" I think it's four correct me if I'm wrong.
October 5, 200916 yr I just thought of a quote and I hope I don't misquote here and if I do please forgive me and correct me. "I'm gonna come down so hard on that man, he's gonna have to reach up to touch grass!"
December 10, 200916 yr I loved it when she called Boss her Chickabiddy-lol just popped into my head so I thought I'd get the rest of your opinions
December 10, 200916 yr I agree. That was cute. I wonder if a writer came up with that nickname or if Peggy (or one of the other cast members) came up with it. Hmmm, I might call my wife that and see how she reacts.
December 10, 200916 yr This isn't so much a favorite quote but a favorite scene, also from "Repo Men" when Bo's complimenting her on her dress and her shoes and all. And she's all grinning from ear to ear. Too funny! Is there a woman alive who wouldn't be grinning ear to ear after compliments from Bo Duke? Heck, I bet Miz Tisdale even got a quiver in her liver when he flashed those dimples at her! It would be just plain unnatural otherwise....
December 10, 200916 yr BTW RogChickabiddyn.A chicken; a fowl; also, a trivial term of endearment for a child.
December 10, 200916 yr Thanks Daisy. Why didn't you post that definition before I tried it? *rubs bump on back of head from frying pan*
December 11, 200916 yr Lol Roger so have you called your wife that little term of endearment yet? I'm wondering what her reaction was....think I'll try that with my sweetie tonite......
December 11, 200916 yr Hey Rog....frying pan–noun 1. a shallow, long-handled pan in which food is fried or with which rude men who think they are being funny are struck.—Idiom2. out of the frying pan into the fire, free of one predicament but immediately in a worse one. You know Rog...both definitions kinda fit you to a T.
