I have been watching I don't know it's either Willy Wonka or Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and I swear that Charlie (in the old version) looks so much like John. Now I know . . .I think i tried to do a search and I don't think that John plays Charlie, but he looks a lot like I think he would when he was younger. On the other hand. Just me again. Well, I know at least a couple of people have met him and I want to know what it was like. I've read a couple experiences but I have specific questions. What was he like? Were you able to maintain some kind of composure? (Especially for the girls) Where did you get the chance? Did you chat? Or was it a really quick thing? ~She-Wolf

We've just received word: John and Don Gilley (Stunt Coordinator travelling with him) were driving along in Alabama on their way to Enterprise WHEN SOMEONE SHOT AT THEM!! They are driving a powerful Dodge RAM 3500 hauling a trailer with three cars from the movie. The gunshot SHATTERED THE WING WINDOW of the Dodge Charger that was used for the jump stunts!! John and Don are both okay and made it safely to the theater in Enterprise. This came from his myspace, one of the guys thats running it while he is away posted a bulletin about it. I cant believe somebody DID THAT!!!

I'm working on an upcoming show for TVLand that interviews celebrities about their "big breaks" and John Schneider will be one of our subjects. I wanted to poll Dukes Experts as to whether there were any episodes centering around Bo from the first season (other seasons OK too). Also what do you think are Bo's best moments, dramatic and comedic?

Someone sent him a really really nasty email that is posted in a bullitan on his myspace account, and John is said to be quite shocked and upset about what had been said. It attacked his religious beliefs, saying that his new movie Collier and Co was un-christian and basically attacking his morals and lifestyle. He needs your support now more than ever Dukes fans, so roll on over to his official myspace account and show him with the rest of us just how much he is truly loved.

I attended a Childrens Mirical Network Telethon with my uncle. At the telethon is where I met John Schneider. He is a very nice guy. He set some time aside and we talked about what it was like filming the show. He said it was the most fun he's had filming a show. He signed a football for me and took several pictures. It was a day I will never forget. I grew up watching the Dukes Of Hazzard. My long time dream would be to own a 69' Dodge Charger like the General Lee. Well that's all for know. John plays a very likeable character in Smallville as he played a likeable character in dukes of hazzard. if i do meet sometime i will tell him that he was a very likeable character in Smallville and ask him why did they kill off jonathan kent for? Hi I am new to this web site! I have been a Dukes of Hazzard Fan since I was three years old!! That dates me because that was almost 26 years ago. I am just looking for anyone to chat with and give me any interesting little snippets about the show or any appearances. I really wish I could go to Dukes Fest in June but I live in Michigan and I can't afford the cost to get down there. Does anyone know if any possible events in the Michigan area? I have been dreaming alot lately because at the end of this month we are moving to a new house...but last night I had a dream that John was helping to move into the new place...dressed just like Bo..yellow top and blue jeans...LMAO...He was very nice and the best part of it was when he took the top off and was sweating... so to dream of my hubby and John topless and sweating lifting boxes was quite nice indeed... That put a smile on my face when I woke this morning..woo hoo

I love the lyrics by Dierks Bentley "hood sliding like Bo Duke" from "What was I thinking?" but on the episode "Dear Diary" Bo goes one better than that. I don't know if Bo ever did this on any other scene or not but he "roof slid" on that episode. It was a pretty impressive athletic feat. To make it even more dramatic, Rosco tried to hood slide seconds later but it didn't turn out so well....LOL Can anybody else recall Bo ROOF sliding in any other episode?

Anyone that has just seen the new season of Smallville can tell me if John will do some appearence?
