Dukes of Hazzard Chat Along 101 Once a month or more, Dukes fans get together at HazzardNet at the same time across the globe to watch the same episode of Dukes of Hazzard on DVD and share comments about the show. If you'd like to participate in our Dukes of Hazzard chat alongs: 1. Check the event schedule to see when the next event is. 2. A half hour or so before the event, make sure you have your DVD ready to go. 3. On the day of the event, make sure to show up at least 15 minutes ahead of time and "check in" to the HazzardNet chatroom and say howdy to let us know you're ready to go. 4. Ok y'all. Roger encouraged me to post this idea to see if anyone would be interested... What if we all got together and watched an episode together, chatting while we watched it. Bo James and I have done that before and, if you can get everyone to start at the same time, it's quite fun. Kind of like doing your own commentaries... My thought was maybe we could take a vote of what episode to watch by those who are interested...and find a time that works for everyone and set it up.... so...anyone interested?

Hey Y'all! An Idea hit me the other night when I was chatting with what seemed like half of Hazzard County! What do y'all think about having a weekly chat? For instance, every Sunday night at 7:00 pm CST. We can all try to agree on a day and time, if anyone thinks this is worth pursuing. If not, I apologize for the waste of space. LadyD's comment about chats got me thinkin'....we haven't had a fanfic chat for like a million years! LOL In the past, the Saturday around 8pm eastern (5 pacific) seems to work pretty well. I'm gonna suggest we try for this Saturday the 27th startin' at 8pm. Also, let's try another chat on Wednesday the 31st startin' at 8pm. There's no closing hour...I figure the thing can go on until there's one person left standin' in the chat room. ROFL. Don't worry if you can't make one or both chats. Would anybody be interested in meeting in the chat room on Saturday, November 2nd, with our DVDs ready to go for a viewing of One Armed Bandits? If so, what time works best for you? I was thinking 5 or 6 pm eastern, which would make it 10 or 11 pm for our UK friends.

Are we gonna all meet up sometime in December? I really enjoyed last month's Turkey Chat!! Sadly, Christmas Eve and Christmas Night are out for me....too busy (but I bet y'all are in the same boat on that one). So if we can agree on a night, I'm there! Hey here's an idea for a Hazzard County Christmas party. On Friday (Dec 21) we should all watch "The Great Santa Claus Chase" at 8:00 EST. After that, we can get together and chat about Christmas stuff like that episode, old memories and favorite Christmas cartoons etc. If you don't have that episode you can still join us for the party. I thought Friday at 8 would be a cool idea since that's when the show was originally on. It would sure bring back that old Hazzard Christmas feeling knowing other people are watching that episode at the exact same time. Hey guys and gals! I had alot of fun at the Boar's Nest chat that one night. Can we do something like that again on or around Thanksgiving? I know as of right now, the Wednesday before Thanksgiving (Nov. 24) I'm aviable. Can we shoot for that day around 8:00pm? Or does anyone have any other suggestions for dates and times? Let me know by posting to this thread. Is it a good idea or a bad idea? Who knows, maybe we could have a turkey shoot. As your neighborhood friendly Game Warden, I sure am up for that!
