  1. Points for everyone there - I'll give the bonus point to GLG for being first. Q. In 'Mary Kaye's Baby', Bo is unsure if Uncle Jesse has the skills required to deliver a baby because he has only ever seen him midwife what?

Bob - Weird Al I'm quite happy to continue the Weird Al theme. For anyone who doesn't know 'Bob', all the lyrics are palindromes. The video is a parody of Subterranean Homesick Blues by Bob Dylan, but I'm sure y'all knew that.

Albuquerque - Weird Al (part 1) Big bowl of sauerkraut, every single morning . Enjoy the over 11 minute long masterpiece.
  4. I haven't got a lot to add to Roger's comments, other than I whole-heartedly agree. Well done mods, and I hope you enjoy your 15 minutes of fame (well, 31 days ).
  5. steak (Looks like they have 36 restaurants in PA, and 2 in WV. I see their passion is HOSS'pitality )
  6. It's been nearly 2 years since anyone posted a Duke-ified Christmas song, so I thought it was about time we had a new one. I originally wrote this a few months ago, but thought I'd wait until December to post it. Looking at it now, there's no mention of Christmas in my version, but most of the others don't mention Christmas either . My song is to the tune of 'Walking in a Winter Wonderland'. To get you in the mood, here's Connie Francis's version, which I was listening to when I changed the words. Driving in a Hazzard Wonderland - (apologies to all who've recorded it before) Dixie sounds Are you listening In the jug Shine is glistening We're filled with delight, there's Dukes on tonight A driving in a Hazzard wonderland Gone away is Grady Byrd Here to stay Is Rosco's word There's one-ninety proof A flag on the roof A driving in a Hazzard wonderland In the workshop Cooter builds a Charger And declares that it's the Gen'ral Lee He fits a three eighteen, we say larger Then jump him o'er the creek for all to see Later on We'll perspire As we change that flat tire And try to evade Arrests that are made A driving in a Hazzard wonderland In the workshop ...

Craigslist - Weird Al Yankovic Thought I'd have this one while we're on the 'Internet Leaks'. Great video to go with the Doors style song. He even got Doors' keyboardist Ray Manzarek to play on this track.
  8. Another clear round for everyone. Now back to the beginning ... Q. In 'One Armed Bandits', Luke says he hates skinny women. Bo then suggests he's got no taste and says that if women were birds, Luke would probably date what?. Bonus point for Luke's reply about what Bo would date.
  9. restaurant I'm determined to get back to that romantic, candlelit dinner with wine that I was having with waikiki and texasdaisy earlier tonight (apologies to texasdaisy's husband).

Not my normal thing, but I always turn it up when it comes on the radio .

This show never aired in the UK (we had our own version called Family Fortunes), and I never knew about the celebrity specials with the Dukes - my own fault for not trawling Hnet thoroughly enough . Amazingly you can now buy the boxed set on Amazon for under $5. I found this episode, Dukes vs Waltons, on YouTube: A birthday men hate? - now Cathy, you're just rubbing it in .

  17. It's such a shame they only made 6 episodes of Police Squad. I've lost count of the number of times I've seen them, and they're still funny. I just remebered another of my favorite lines from the first episode: "There'd been a recent wave of gorgeous fashion models found naked and unconscious in laundromats on the west side. Unfortunately, I was assigned to investigate hold-ups at neighborhood credit unions."

  21. I was going to start this thread myself, but waikiki beat me to it (news hadn't broken when I went to bed last night). Leslie was responsible for delivering some of the funniest lines in TV/movie history: All-time classic from Airplane I also saw him just last week in a re-run of M*A*S*H. He played the over-zealous Col. Buzz Brighton in The Ringbanger (S1E16). Even though his was a fairly straight part, you could still see some of the trademark facial expressions that we all came to know and love. RIP Leslie.
